Jo lost her brothers, her parents, and her home ever since she was taken by slavers. They were never good to her and her siblings therefore she hates them with a deep passion that can't be turned into words. She hopes to one day perhaps see slavery end, maybe even be abolished everywhere and have families split reunited.

Jo could never take drugs because of the money issue and though she was okay with never taking them, she has always been curious about how they make you feel and if it would help her sorrow she sometimes feels.

A large long scar runs from the side of her knee to her ankle and another one runs down the right side of her back which appears bad as well. Her arm has a smaller closed gash on it and the side of her neck has a thin white scar running down her collarbone.

Jo is very considerate of only those she cares for or those whom she pities. Rarely does she pity people as she finds that they couldn't possibly have had a worse time than her little brothers. Her anger is very rarely seen, or even reached as she now has a tough shell to protect herself from those around her that can and will hurt her.
Jo has difficulty stomaching much food nowadays ever since the accident. She was not given food for a while and has the issue of eating for she was unable to eat more than very little after having the same amount for over three years. She gets very sick if she tries to eat more or eats a bit too much. She would have bad stomach pains and would either have to vomit it up or stay in bed and miss the next meal. She despises the weakness of it but doesn't despise that she has it as it helped her brothers survive when she could give them extra food.
Jo doesn't like to interact with people as she doesn't trust people anymore. She will interact with those in the house after having been there for a while now and knowing that they don't mean harm, but can just be stupid and or weird. She won't talk unless spoken to and even then, talks very little. When she is in her spare time, she is more often than not either in the gardens or in the kitchens. She really does despise the fact of interacting with a lot of people for over a little bit of time. She really does only feel comfortable with people when it comes to her best friend and her safe friend. Otherwise, a small group of people can be endured for a good amount of time.
Jo still has nightmares from her days being trained and her capture. She misses her parents and wonders where they are, having those nightmares get to her as well. She doesn't cry out in her sleep thankfully but does however cry in her sleep. She writes to keep her thoughts from spilling out and hasn't told anyone of her past, even the master when he threatened her.
Bio/History:
Jo was born to a middle class family that allowed her to thrive in areas she enjoyed while also restricting some of her requests. She lived in California growing up and was big into surfing, taking classes at the family business that was rather small up until she herself began selling the lessons. When Jo's parents got the warning about the shop, the family panicked slightly though were able to make ends meet barely while cutting a few things.
Jo had two siblings, little twin brothers that she messed with and played with all the time up until they thought they were too old for it all. When the budget cuts came, Jo and her little brothers were forced to stop doing after school activities making their entire life about running the shop that also had begun doing tours via boats.
When they were on a trip once, Jo and her brothers were kayaking down a rather tight part of a stream with their tour group. Jo was seventeen at the time as she led the tour. A storm appeared rather quickly, the group being too far away from dock-able land, was rocked around a lot. Majority of the group was killed in the process, their inability to swim and or respond to the situation proving fatal. Jo and her brothers were able to survive, though Jo was injured extremely badly while her brothers were still too young and weak to paddle the damaged boats.
A group of people showed up as Jo was slipping in and out of consciousness and were able to get the boat on land with the unknowing brothers help. Jo was able to be saved though she still has a rather large scar. The people were slavers on tour and were ecstatic at their find of three new slaves. With that, they began their task of training them for various skills and were sold quickly into slavery. The younger boys were made into bedslaves and were often forced to do rather painful and terrible things. Jo had not been so physically appealing to the slavers and was taught serving and gardening as a second popular thing.
At first the three were kept together because of sympathy, as time went on though, they got separated. Jo and her youngest twin brother were together for one master after loosing the other twin, then Jo was sold after trying to escape with her brother, passing it off as her own thing. She had always been quiet, but now she was even more alone in the world and rarely spoke to people she didn't know. She has not seen either brother for years and she wishes desperately to see them. She misses each of them. She was sold to the Daedal family and she has not tried escape yet as she is bidding her time in hopes of the new master doing something.
