A Human Intelligence warrent officer of the United States Army assigned direct access to Ali.
Like the sound of his voice, Nathan is a serious person. He gives off an aura of determination and once his mind is set it's hard to turn him away without a good reason for it. Despite that he's good with his team and will joke around with them every once in a while to ease the stress. He always makes sure the needs of his soldiers under him are met before his own, even if that means he doesn't get to eat tonight. Nathan's soldiers look up to him and he does his best to be worthy of that respect just as they have earned his respect. That doesn't mean he's a pushover though. He can be hard when somebody screws up and he isn't hesitant to give the proper discipline when needed. However, he also gives credit where credit is do. He tries to be fair and impartial in his judgments. The other side of his personality is he's a good actor. You have to be in his line of work. He's an interrogator, but he also does clandestine work that most don't know about unless it's his team or anyone else that has access to his records.
Nathan's equipment consists of an M4A1 Carbine with an ACOG tactical scope and a combat load of 210 rounds. He has two frag grenades, two smoke, and a flash. He carries a medic kit with him at all times just in case and is CLS certified like all soldiers are. His other equipment consists of the HIIDE. It's a multipurpose device that allows you to gather photos, finger prints, and retinal scans in one easy to use hand held device and is directly connected to the military BATS (Biometric Analysis and Tracking System). It basically works like the police system. You take in a perp, get his data, put it in the BATS, and if he's released and you book him again he pops up in the system.
Nathan's history is pretty bland for the most part, that is the parts that aren't classified. He's thirty-two years old and has been in the military since he was 17, yea, he was a split option. He went to basic in the summer of his junior year and AIT (Advanced Individual Training) the summer after he graduated. The course was twenty-two weeks and five days long, with Nathan graduating at the top of his class with the silver STRAT award. Nobody got the gold that time around. Afterwords he was assigned to the 300 MI Brigade and participated in Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2005. He served three deployments in Iraq before they switched to Afghanistan and served two there. All the while he was making his way up through the ranks. After he made Staff Sergeant he put in his warrant officer packet. He's currently a Chief Warrant Officer 3. The rest of his history he's not at liberty to tell and his family is a personal topic.
