Personality

A truly gentle soul, Oliver is quick to wait and slow to anger. Patience is a great skill of his, and coupled with his stoic stubbornness and self-confidence, he has no difficulty simply waiting out the rash behaviors and impetuous tempers of his friends. He very much likes to be a calming force, and so is often the first to smile or laugh at a difficult or awkward situation and break its tension.

Equipment

Oliver carries very little, other than the clothes on his back. A thin wallet in his back pocket contains a couple of bills, his student ID, and two pictures of his girlfriend Olivia. A small lockback pocketknife is in one front pocket, and a few coins are in the other. Along with the watch on his wrist and the necklace around his throat, these are the entirety of his possessions.

Upon his entrance into the land of the Fey, however, Oliver develops the ability to control water in all its states. The range of this ability seems to be limited to within only a few feet around him, but he discovers that he can gather vapor from the air, contain and direct liquid water, and even form some simple objects such as cups or plates out of ice.

History

Oliver was raised and educated in London, both for his primary and secondary education. He worked through university as a waiter (and, when needed, a cook), and only recently quit his job to take a year to travel outside the city. He and his girlfriend, Olivia MacNair, have been in a serious relationship for the last two years, and he intends to propose when she joins him on his year-long getaway in a few months.
