Hanako is a very self-centered and confident person. She enjoys getting along with friends, but never misses a chance to both look great and praise herself for doing so. She absolutely abhors the idea of putting effort into uninteresting work, school being one, but is always inclined to do work that piques her interest. Even so, she is no stranger when it comes to shirking work until her boss comes and scolds her. Hanako also has quite the bubbly personality and loves to talk. She enjoys meeting new people and is always happy learning knew things about them. Hanako is also driven greatly by her instincts and will often act before thinking about things. She is always finding something interesting to do, but has quite the short attention span.

Bio

Hanako's life growing up was never particularly much of a challenge; although, naturally, there was the occasional problem from time to time. Hanako was born an only child to a middle-class family. Her dad worked as a business-man of some business corporation and her mom was a stay-at-home wife. Being an only child, Hanako was graciously doted upon and generally got a lot of what she wanted. Hanako, throughout grade school, was just an average student. Spoiled as she was, she was never really used to the system of school where you were meant to put in effort in order to succeed. Though her studies were never overly amazing, she still did enough to get by. Despite not being as adept at knowledge, Hanako had a natural affinity for making friends. Rather, for getting along with people. She would always be seen excitedly talking with her peers or even her teachers about various topics.

When she was sixteen, Hanako's father was laid off from work due to an economic recession. This led to some complications within her family as her mother was not in work and Hanako was not used to having a shortage on pocket money. Eventually her father and mother got divorced, leaving Hanako and her mother on their own. Her mom began to take up small part time jobs at the convenience store, but making ends meet was a difficult task. Wanting to help out, Hanako took up a part time job at a local cafe where she became a barista, making coffee and tea for customers. She never told her mom about the part time jobs as she didn't want her to worry, though she did end up skipping school occasionally to work.

Due to her skipping out on school and being quite the lackadaisical person she is, Hanako was never an active person. She always had terrible stamina and was never good at running or any kind of sporting event. Also, because she spent a lot of her time working, Hanako never really had the time to learn certain things. One of the things she absolutely had no knowledge of was swimming. Hanako, being an impulsive person, will alawys walked up to people and struck up a conversation. She would sometimes forget the normal pleasantries such as introducing herself, but she already spoke as though she knew the person. Hanako can never specifically recall a moment where she knew for sure she was in love, but she always felt an attraction to anyone, male or female.
