Kagerou, being raised and trained as a knight, has grown to be very loyal and obedient when it comes to obeying the orders of his superiors. During the times of his training, absolute loyalty and obedience were necessary traits and separated those fit for duty from those who were not. Due to this, Kagerou will follow any orders given to him by a superior almost unquestioningly. That is to say, he is not completely without his own thought process. There are times when certain orders do not sit right with him and he will question said orders.

For better or for worse, Kagerou will stick to his morals and often refuse to act should orders conflict with said morals. If he deems something wrong or unjustified, he will do his utmost best to complete the objective in a more moral manner, however, he understands that sometimes the unjust action can be the best one. With that, Kagerou can often be called narrow-minded. As a person who prefers to judge things based on the teachings he learned as he grew up, it is very difficult for him to understand that sometimes rules are meant to be broken.

Finally, though he may not always let it show, Kagerou is truly caring for his comrades, especially the Princess. Kagerou is the kind of person who will throw himself out into the line of fire to protect a comrade, even at the risk of his own death, should the occasion arrive. He will often do his best for others, though will say it was all just a matter of coincidence. He is only ever fully open with people who he feels really close to.

Since his job as a knight requires him to keep a certain level of seriousness, there are many times when he simply cannot enjoy himself as much as he would like to. Just like anyone else, he would love having time to kick back and relax. Perhaps chat with others without titles or ranks and simply have an enjoyable time. Life is too short to be serious about anything and everything.
