It was October, the time of year where humans have this event called Halloween. Typical festive Halloween activities include trick-or-treating (also known as "guising"), attending costume parties, decorating, carving pumpkins into jack-o'-lanterns, lighting bonfires, apple bobbing, visiting haunted attractions, playing pranks, telling scary stories, and watching horror films. Sometimes Halloween ends up going a bit too far. They get the ideas of witchcraft, vampires, werewolves, and monsters (creatures) all be real, making Halloween their day.
The Ocubee family is one of the many people who believe in those ideas being true for Halloween. Each year they throw a ball for Halloween inviting all the royals to come and join in on the party. This family is also good friends with the Zerochii, another family that believes in these ideas being true.
The Zerochii family grandmother. Is the eldest pure blood vampire alive. And she is great friends with the Ocubee Grandfather. He is the second eldest vampire alive. Zerochii family is well known for it's vampire blood that they have created, selling them in secret to all the vampires out there. Becoming enemies of the Zerochii or Ocubee families is the worse case you can be in.
Recently the Zerochii grandmother has had troubles with her daughter, she became pregnant and didn't want her newborn child any part of the vampire world, she wanted her kid to live a normal human life, with no memory whatsoever of anything of this world the vampires live in. The grandmother refused this, but the mother stole her baby and ran off one night when the grandmother was out.
At her travels she met up with the old family witch,, that was known to be able to do a crafting spell to entrap a newborn vampire baby, inside a human body. The thing is, with every spell it can be broken and how to break this spell, all was need was a bite on the neck from the one she loved. But if the one she loved was human and that human was to kiss her, forever human she will be.
For six years the mother was able to live a free life, with her child and her newly wedded human husband. Leaving the life of her grandmother and the child's father behind, along with all the vampires and other creatures out there. She stuck with her goal and kept her 'human' life. She did though, tell her human husband of this. So if anything was to happen, he'd keep her child safe. What she didn't know was, how long safe was.
The mother's secret ended up getting out on her night of blood lust, she couldn't hold in her starve for blood any longer. She ended up going crazy and lost all her human sense. The town ended up killing her and her human husband was able to escape with her 6 year old child. When the grandmother heard of this, she tried her damnedest to get her grandchild back. But with no known scent of what her grandchild's human form smelt like, she had no luck.
It was until her grandchild turned 21 until she was able to finally get incontact with her. It was thanks to her Butler and his long last research. He spent day in and day out looking for the child, he searched from place to place, and from town to town. All he had was a picture of the child's mom and a baby in her hands. What made it easy, was the baby had the most interesting hair. Black and White.
"Haru! Don't forget to check into the after school sport teams, some of them need new members!" A teacher called after Haru just as she was getting ready to leave for the day.
"Sure Mister Swan. I can do that, but I have to get home today. I can do it tomorrow." Haru waved and took her backpack with her as she left.
Haru went to a special kind of school, it was for delinquents or people who were behind in their school and have no way of catching up. Haru moved a lot, so she had no choice but to join a school with low class to it.
The sun was out, but the winders were starting to get cold. The leaves on the trees were no longer showing and even the grown started to get colder. Winter was coming and Christmas was too, she had yet to find a gift for her father. She wanted to get him something new, but she didn't know what of.
She nuzzled her face into her scarf, but the feeling of someone touching her shoulder surprised her. Quickly she jerked back and looked up at the man surprised. He was wearing a black suit, his skin was pale and his gray eyes made her shiver. The site of his face, already had her face in a major blush. She found herself to shy to speak up and just stared at him.
