Full Name: Rebecca Adelaide Holden
Nicknames: Becca, Spark
Age: 17
Race: Mutant

Height: 5' 4"
Weight: 119lbs
Build: Slim, bordering on skinny - Rebecca doesn't eat a lot, and is a strict vegetarian when she does.
Hair Colour: Dark blonde, and just over shoulder length, falling straight downwards, usually in messy tangles unless she has a particular reason to fix it, to the small of her back.
Eye Colour: Hazel, with a hint of olive.
Attire: Rebecca is seldom seen out and about without her characteristic yellow mackintosh, highly practical but just as much not stylish. Underneath this vibrant yellow beast she normally wears long sleeved tops, jeans, and trainers - really just normal wear for a less-than fashion conscious teen of her age. Other than this, a small necklace with no significant meaning is the only accessory she wears, and is often a source of comfort and footing, holding it and fiddling with it often a sign that she is uncomfortable or nervous.

Personality: Stubborn and fiery, Rebecca is absolutely dedicated to every word that leaves her leader's lips, and zealous in her carrying out of his whim. The focus of their group is usually around either the environment, or other similar morally clear areas, against power plants, trawlers, or other such damaging structures or businesses. With such a relatively short fuse when it comes to these beliefs, Rebecca is surprisingly patient when it comes to other matters, and is quite sociable around other people who either share her beliefs, or do not directly oppose them. While easily angered, Rebecca knows when she is outmatched, and won't start a fight she thinks she can't win.

Abilities and Equipment: At any one time, Rebecca is likely to be carrying:
  • A 9mm pistol
  • A combat ready knife
  • Enough explosives to 'blow the bloody doors off'
  • Two hand grenades
  • A remote detonator that can be easily wired up to the aforementioned explosives
  • Wire cutters
  • A small toolkit

A mutant, Rebecca also has abilities inherent in her body, beyond her experience with explosives, electrics, and mechanics - these abilities are centred around fire, pyrokinesis, whatever you want to call it. The generation, manipulation and release of copious amounts of the hot stuff - alongside an immunity to its effects.

History: Rebecca came under the wing of Dannyl Jeanson at the age of fifteen, charmed by the silver tongue of the young man and his seductive persuasions. This was not, as one might suspect, the lead-on to paedophilia, but was in fact him enticing her to join the activist and terrorist group, Silverite. While Dannyl himself was not a member, his 'boss' had instructed him that the group's work was beneficial to him and his clients, and that he was to coerce and aid any promising candidates for joining the organisation that he encountered in his day to day life. Rebecca met Jeanson on a walk home from school, sent home for losing control of her powers in a fit of rage against another pupil, and coming dangerously close to burning them alive. Dannyl washed away her concerns with his words, intrigued by her abilities and her strong views - which he soon extracted - and gently nudged her toward Silverite. After joining, Rebecca proved herself an able agent, using her youth and looks to get places where the elder and more grizzled veterans might be turned away, and to the present day carries out the orders of the group - they come infrequently, but when they ask for her, the job tends to be big, and explosive. Good thing that big explosions are Becca's speciality.

So begins...

The door of the hold slid open to the sound of shouting. Two crewmen emerged into vision, dragging with them a kicking and screaming young girl who looked about sixteen, clad in the rather odd garb of a bright yellow mac.

"Get off me you ugly fucks!" Rebecca screeched as she was hauled in, twisting her head to bite down viciously on one of the men's hands. In response, she received a smack around the side of the head, and went limp.

The leather clad men walked down the ramp past Drake and Sophie, before tossing the girl to the floor in a heap. "Little bitch drew blood!" one of them complained, nursing a bleeding thumb.

Rebecca Holden waited till Drake had left, counting a few seconds down before opening her eyes. The girl sat up straight, probably startling Kai or indeed anyone who had seen the smack she received to the head. "Eeh, these guys pack a mean punch." she muttered, rubbing her head.

"Well, now that that act's over..." Rebecca stood, glancing around the room. "Let's see what we've got to work with here..."

Starting to feel around her clothes, Becca murmured to herself. "Pistol gone... knife gone... bombs gone... 'nades gone... detonator gone... cutters still there though, and a couple tools. Not at all bad." The girl nodded, satisfied, before turning to the others.

"Well. Hey there, I'm Becca. Pleasure to meet you, wish it could be under better circumstances."

"Ah, glad to see morale's still so high. At least we aren't all considering suicide yet!" Becca smiled, glancing around. "Hmm, cargo hold eh? Nice. Awful place to keep captives, great place to be kept captive. I can do good work here."

But, it was time to test whether her little ace card was functional. Extending her fingers outwards, Becca concentrated on fire... and nothing happened.

"Ah, bollocks." she muttered. "Oh well. I can work with that.."

"Outer space, my friend! The final frontier! We are all, unofficially, astronauts!" Becca grinned, pacing her way over to a crate and producing a miniature screwdriver from a concealed pocket. "Hmm, wrong size."

The girl rummaged around in the pocket for a few moments before producing a second screwdriver, which fitted to a satisfactory degree. Setting to on the first screw on the corner of the metal crate, Becca began to hum quietly to herself.

Rebecca Holden took only a few minutes to crack into this first crate, but let out a dissatisfied tut as all that rolled out were a bunch of expensive antiques. "Bah, useless crap. I hope that's not all that's in here."

Moving on to the next crate, Becca began to process again. "Sorry guy, I ain't no medic." she replied to Laces.

Rebecca Holden badgered around in a few more crates for a few minutes, discovering only further priceless artefacts. "Hmm. Something's telling me that I ain't gonna find anything useful here."

Turning away, the girl paid closer attention to the room itself. There was a vent in the far wall, but it was far out of reach, almost in the ceiling. The writer was also taking many liberties in describing this, and will revoke details if needed. The staircase was reminiscent of a particularly solid fire escape, and the stacks of crates were arrayed in a disorganised fashion. There appeared to be a few vents in the floor, but they didn't look to lead anywhere useful.

"Hmmm..."

Rebecca Holden blinked, and glanced to Nyma. "Oh? Nice."

The girl wandered over to said crate, and leant over it. "Ooh, nice. Very nice. I can use these." she murmured, picking up one of the grenades. "Not bad. Quite good, actually, as far as grenades go."

Glancing back at the staircase, Rebecca set to plotting.

Rebecca Holden scratched her plans in the wood of one of the less high-tech crates as she thought. If she could figure out some way to attach the grenades to the floor, or the wall, she could rig some sort of remote detonation cord out of a strip of that tapestry in that crate over there. That'd mean that she could launch an ambush on the guards, probably take out the ones that came to check on them, incapacitating them with the stuns and tear gas and enable her to take their weapons.

Maybe she could recruit a few of the other captives into helping... they didn't look particularly motivated, though.

Rebecca Holden glanced at Nass. "Just dandy, thanks! Figuring out how I can blow these fuckers to hell with their own 'nades. Pity they're just stuns and tear gas, but they'll do to take them out. I'm Becca, by the way."

The girl let out a hmm, walking her way up the staircase to the locked door and examining it. Maybe... hmm, that could work.

Walking back down, the girl removed her yellow mac and laid it down on the floor, collecting as many of the devices as possible into it before hauling the makeshift sack up and returning to the top of the stairs, where she set about laying the grenades next to the railings around the door.

As she worked, Becca resumed her humming.

Rebecca Holden laid two of the three stun grenades to either side of the door, choosing to keep the third as well as the tear gas in reserve. With them in place, the girl wandered her way back down the stairs and to one of the earlier opened crates, where she heaved out an expensive looking tapestry.

"Wow, intricate. I almost care that I'm about to destroy it." she commented idly, extracting her wire cutters and setting to with slashing at the fabric in an attempt to cut through it.

"Aw, shit." Rebecca cursed as the guards burst in before she was done preparing, and was promptly knocked to the floor in a bundle of yellow, crashing into the crate, becoming quickly covered in a cascade of old cloth.

Rebecca Holden unburied herself from the cloth, nursing a heavy bruise on her upper arm. Thanks to the distance, it hadn't broken the bone, but it still damn hurt!

"Well fuck. Why couldn't those bastards be considerate and let me finish my trap!?" she complained, before the hissing attracted her attention.

"Bollocks."

Rebecca Holden inevitably eventually succumbed to the gas, despite her covering of clothing, assuming that there was nothing further of import to happen.

"Pick me! Pick me!" Rebecca was, as previously, incredibly stupidly cheerful. "I'm great at doing most things! I'm an all-around odd-job girl! I can fix TVs, and computers!"

Rebecca figured the sooner she was picked, the sooner she could escape from her new owner; likely to be considerably easier than escaping from Drake.

Rebecca Holden nodded to Tessa. "Rebecca." she replied, decidedly less enthusiastic about being around this much gunfire without her bombs and pyrokinesis.
