Nickname: Em, Emmie, Sawyer.
Age: Eighteen
Role/Species: Other- Changeling. In myths, they were the children of beasts put in cradles while the original babies were kidnapped. In reality, changelings are rare and miraculous occurrence, caused by a genetic defect. They are closely related to fey and leprechauns, but with several strange twists. They are usually tiny, by human standards (females averaging around 5'2" and under 110 lbs, males averaging around 5'7 and under 130 lbs), and quiet, only speaking under certain circumstances. The females are unable to bear children, but the males can easily be fathers. But, by far, their powers are the most unique thing about them. They possess an ability referred to as either absorption or mimicry. They depend strongly on other beings for their powers, and have to come in physical contact with a creature to possess their abilities. Depending on the mental strength of the changeling, they are able to store quite a few powers in reserve. They are either hated or revered by other races, with no in-between.
Appearance: Emery is very small, even by changeling standards. She stands at a solid 4'11", and weighs about 90 lbs. She has spiky dark brown hair that frames her heart-shaped face, with very delicate features. She is comparable to a porcelain doll, excluding her tan skin.

Personality: Emery is very quiet and reserved, but tends to say some pretty damn funny things when she does speak. She gets peoples' attention by tugging on their sleeves, preferring to use her actions to communicate instead of speaking. She seems very naive, but in reality she is quite a pessimist, and tends to assume to worst about things. She is very dependent on people she grows attached to. She tends to giggle when she finds something cute. When she is around someone she is attracted to, she usually is very clumsy and awkward.
Likes: Big animals, soft blankets, snuggling, being hugged, stuffed animals.
Dislikes: Speaking aloud, being the center of attention, small dogs (They remind her of rats).
Sexuality: Straight.

History

Bio: She was disowned by her parents for showing signs of being a changeling- they were already very superstitious people, and her coming in contact with her witch aunt and gaining powers was no help. She has been in boarding school ever since, receiving not so much as a letter from her estranged family. Her greatest wish is to find somebody who will love her for who she is, not caring about what she has done.
One Greatest Fear: Being abandoned. She also has a fear of looking at people who are taller than her- which is why she wears a hat, covering her eyes with the brim so she can't see above her.
One Greatest Secret: She only wants to find somebody to love her, but she is certain nobody will.
