2030 A.D. post apocalyptic "Earth"

Serkan relaxed just a little and layed down under the tree.

Glacier sighed as the wolf went on about how she saved him or what not. "You didnt have to kill him. It'll make things worse besides... I never asked you for help." he said still not looking at her. "And you... dont go around deciding whether I'm your friend or not." Right when he was about to sprint off, the insane wolf came along. He sighed once more. "Really now?" he asked as Inzuma said Kariya wanted him back. "What for? I'm not part of the pack anyways. I never was." the air around them got colder. "Now... if you two dont want to freeze to death then get going. I like being alone. Tell Kariya you didnt see me." Though he doubted two will easily give up. Why couldnt he just.. be alone? Wasnt it much better that way? Besides who would want to be around such a cold wolf.

Kariya began to think up a plan. If they did as the angel wolf said, would it garuntee them a place in heaven? If they went against it, would it lead them straight into hell. She tilted her head and looked to Nen. She smiled at him a little and stood up, wagging her tail and walking just a little off. She sniffed the air and flattened her ears. The angel would be in front of her, if he were still here. She tried to think of the names. There were many wolves long ago, but no longer. Did that mean she needed to find those still alive? She whined a little. That would take a while. Was this a war...?

"Nen. Serkan. Do you know of any wolves by the names Lyran, Tempus, and Shiva?" He voice came clearly. "Eden mentioned them. Along with others. If we find them it is possible... Just maybe... That the angel will tell us what it is he wants from us."

Shiva puffed up. This wolf was a big meanine. She just wanted to play... She tucked her tail between her legs and backed her ears.

"Your no fun. And your creepy..." Her eyes went to Inazuma. There was no sense to this insane looking wolf. A noose around his neck, bloody tears. The wolf looked like something that would crawl out of a horror film. Shiva looked back to Glacier, maybe if she tried to start a game, he would play too? She jumped over him and wagged her tail, bowing a little. She smiled and hopped once more. She then barely poked him with her paw.

"You're it! You're it! You wanna play too big-sir?" Her eyes went to Inazuma. "He's it!"

Serkan tilted his head. "Lyran... nope, Tempus... nope, and Shiva... nope again." he answered. "Wow a lot of our species died. If you count those three... the isane wolf, that loner wolf, me... you.. and Nen... that makes only 8. How is 8 wolves going to save the world. Besides we dont even know if those wolves are pups or not. If they are pups... they wont be much of a help." he mumbled. "Let alone.... those three might not join us. That Glacier dude ran off too. Who knows if he's going to come back or not. Tch, this is such a pain in an ass." Serkan said with a small growl. He trotted over to the river and took a small drink before joining the pack.

Glacier looked at Shiva and sighed. "Are you lost?" he asked taking a sniff at her. "I smell two other wolf scent from you. That means you were with them a few minutes ago. Shouldnt you go back to them?" he asked hoping the wolf would realize she was following a stranger and run off back to whoever was with her. His face expression soften for a second when the wolf poked him, telling him he was it, but quickly masked that with his expressionless face again.

"I see you don't want to talk about it," Tempus said, standing up. "Sorry for asking. You know, Shiva's been out for a long time. I'll go look for her." He strode out into the light rain, flinching slightly as the water dampened his fur. I shouldn't use my powers, the wolf thought. I might run into one of those boar things. Lowering his head to the ground, Tempus drew in a long breath, searching for Shiva's scent. He detected it, but the rain had almost completely washed it away.

"Shiva!" he called out, wandering in the general direction his puffy friend had went. "Where are you?" Soon, the precipitation had all but erased the trail, so Tempus just walked around randomly. "Shiva?" he shouted as he climbed on top of a small hill. Suddenly, the ground underneath him gave out in a small landslide, sending Tempus tumbling down the steep slope before him. As he picked himself up from the ground, he noticed that he had fallen in front of another cave, and this one was also inhabited by a few wolves. Currently, there were three present; one who seemed blind, a heavily scarred wolf, and an intimidating creature with blood red fur and huge fangs.

"Hello," Tempus started, smiling as best as his lupine face allowed. "I'm looking for my friend. She's about yay high, puffy and grey colored. She goes by the name Shiva. Have you seen her by any chance?"

Inazuma leapt back like he'd been shocked when Shiva said he was it. He laughed and lunged at her, stopping with his face mere inches from hers. He then lifted his paw and poked her lightly between the eyes, then leapt back again, falling over the trash can."You're it. Might as well pass the time till this guy here goes back to the Blind one." He began slowly circling Shiva, low to the ground.

Nen shrugged, none of the names had been even remotely familiar to him. "Serkan's right, those three might be pups, or they might take after Glacier and do whatever they can not to join us... this might be difficult maybe if w- What the?" as he had spoke, a large pile of mud had slid down in front of the cave and out of it stood a golden brown wolf, fur wet and covered in mud now. He then fearlessly spoke, and mentioned one of the names from the list. Nen looked to Kariya, then back to the newcomer. "No, we haven't seen this Shiva, but we were looking for a wolf by that name. Would you by any chance wish to help each other look as it seems it would be mutually beneficial to find her?"

"Sounds good," Tempus said. "How do you know Shiva? Are you family, or friends?" The rain increased slightly in intensity, causing the mud to start washing out of the time wolf's fur. "Well, it doesn't matter," he continued, looking up at the motley crew in front of him. "If we're going to be looking for her together, we might as well get acquainted. I'm Tempus, what are your names?"

[Hey I'm going camping so I wont post until tuesday afternoon.]

Kariya looked to the new wolf. She smiled. Something about him, Tempus? She laughed a little.

"Mr. Tempus. We aren't related to them at all. A strange wolf appeared and told us to find Lyran, Shiva, and Tempus. So my friend, we also were looking for you. A wolf named Eden appeared earlier, looked like an angel. Know him Tempus?" Kariya paused and sniffed the air.

"I hope Inazuma and Glacier return soon."

Shiva smiled and hopped over Glacier and tagged Inazuma.

"This is fun! Who are you again?"

"An angelic wolf?" Tempus repeated as the facts came together in his mind. "That wolf visited us too! He told us to find some other wolves; Kariya, Nenshosora, Inazuma, Glacier, Serkan, and maybe a few others, I can't remeber. I guess I can assume you are some of those wolves?" He walked over to sit by the Kariya. "That's a nice blindfold you have. Are you actually blind, or is there another reason?"

"I'm Crazy... no, no I'm Napoleon Bonapar.... Ha, No I'm Inazuma, or was it Goethe? No No Inazuma." He laughed again and leapt at a wall to the side of Shiva and used it as a springboard to leap right behind her and smack her lightly on the back of the head with his paw before she could turn and dodge. He rolled away and laughed, "You're it again!"

Nen looked at Kariya, then back to Tempus, "As Kariya here has said, we were merely instructed to find a list of names, and I believe yours was among them." He sat down and looked at Tempus through the thickening rain.

Serkan looked at the newcomer and stared up at the sky. A drop of rain fell on his nose, before he took a small step back towards the shades. His ears twitched as he listened to them speaking. There was nothing for him to say, since well, Kariya and Nen seemed to be doing a good job with that. Serkan yawned, his thoughts just wandering off.

Glacier sighed. Why did he have to be stuck with those two. He started to trot away from them fast that usual. Maybe they'll be too busy playing, and forget about him. His eyes drifted up at the gray sky, and thought of a place to go. Maybe somewhere away from this place. There could be some other animals alive in other places. Glacier looked back at the two before continuing his way.

Kariya flashed a smile toward the others. This was all going very well. She listened closely to Tempus, Eden had appeared to him as well? A strange but good thing to hear. She sniffed a little as he asked about her blindfold.

"I was cursed by the devil to see nothing but nightmares when my eyes are open. It causes me great paranoia and fear. Even though I know it's not really there, my mind won't allow me to just ignore it. So I wear this to prevent fear." She finished the sentence and sniffed more. Something smelled off, like death. She looked to the smell of blood, that was Serkan. Her eyes went to Nen.

"Nen. Something reeks of death. And it isn't me. There's something getting closer to our little hide spot, something that smells dead, but moves like something alive. Tempus, you are a member of our pack now, as far as I am concerned. But if you betray us, I will have you killed. There's something coming, something I don't want to have to deal with. Serkan, Nen, as the older males of this pack, or at least in your length of being here, I expect you two to decide whether or not we can fight the beast."

Shiva flopped on the ground and stared at Inazuma. It was a funny name. Wait? Was that right? She stared. No....

"Ok got it Mr. Stalin!" She said this in the most serious manner. She then noticed Glacier. Why was he leaving? She felt a wave of anger wash over her. Soon she turned and bolted, skidding to a stop in front of him. She bared her teeth and let out a snarl. She wanted to say,"Stay here dammit!" But that didn't come out.

"Don't leave playmate! Mr. Stalin and I aren't gonna do anything!" She pricked up her ears and sniffed. She the put her head on the ground and covered her nose. Something smelled. Death.

"Ick! What is that smell!? It's like rotting flesh and mold, and, and stuff!!!"

Inazuma rolled over Stalin? that didn't sound right to him at all. "Little poof ball seems to be confusing me with some other dog, possibly one with a bigger mustache. My name is Goethe... no no it is not it must be Stal- INAZUMA yes." he burst out laughing barely noticing as Shiva ran after Glacier. Then he heard her say something about a weird smell. "Thats odd, it smells a lot like my grove, but it can't have followed us.... it must be something else." He trotted over to the other two.
"And the Blind one still wants you to come back Cold one."

Nen sniffed, at the smell as it grew stronger. He looked at the other males. Fight or flight. story of his life, he didn't have any trouble with that decision. "I say we kill it." He turned to the others, smiled a little, then turned and looked out at the descending darkness and sniffed, searching for the approaching foe.

Serken nodded. "Alright... we fight it then. It's boring to just run away." he said getting up. His eyes drifted off towards where the smell was coming from. To tell the truth the smell didnt bother him. His claws dug half way into the ground, as he waited for whatever was out there to approach.

Glacier stopped at his track when the wolf snarled at him. "I'm not here to play.." he said ready to walk around her. Though he stopped and looked over at the smell. It wasnt such a nice smell, he had to agree to that. Curious as he was, Glacier trotted towards the smell. He didnt it when the smell of the other wolves got stronger as well. Whatever, he'll deal with it. As the smell got stronger, to the point it bothered his nose, Glacier's steps got slower. He lowered his body along with his head, as he silently walked closer.

Kariya sniffed the air once more. If it was a fight they wanted, then they would have to find the source of the smell. She let out the slightest cough before turning and sniffing.

"This way. It's over here." She moved into the forest. Not far from the sight was another wolf. It reeked of death, but it couldn't be the source. This wolf had it's foot caught in a bear trap and it didn't seem to care. Not a single sound came from its mouth. It stood still, as though frozen. The wolf itself was a frightening sight, covered in blood and armored from head to toe with what seemed to be rock.

"That wolf is part of the source... But the rest is behind it... What should we do?" Kariya muttered these words softly.

Shiva stared. He left again. She dropped her ears at the cold wolf. His heart was just as cold as he was... She turned to Inazuma with wide eyes and spoke softly,

"Can we follow him Ina?" Her voice was childish. She just wanted to play and be protected. But no one liked her... Not anymore.

Inazuma looked over at Shiva. "I'm supposed to bring him back to the pack. Thats what the blind one said." He snickered. "He really won't listen to instructions well at all."
He sniffed at the air again and began walking in the direction Glacier had gone. He laughed and looked back at Shiva, "Come on."

Nen stared at the wolf, "Who are you?" he called out to the wolf who just stared back. Nen looked back at Kariya. "You can't see so I'll have to be your eyes. There's a large wolf in a bear trap up ahead. He's armored in some sort of stone and appears injured. Well, I guess we should release him. He might decide to be helpful. What do you think Kariya?" He took a step back and poked her with his muzzle to be she knew were he was.

"Death visions? That sounds pretty depressing. I wish I could help," Tempus said, shaking his head sympathetically. He suddenly froze when he heard Kariya's next statement. "Relax, I would never do such a thing. As far as I'm concerned, you are my friends, even though I just met you. I'd never hurt you." Tempus followed the other wolves as they wandered into the woods, following a scent that could only be described as putrid. All of a sudden, they stopped in front of a new wolf. It was armored in some form of rock, and was covered in blood. Its foot was caught in a bear trap. "Should we help it?" Tempus asked, repeating Nen's concerns.
