Personality: Samantha is manupulaitve, decietful and bitter. She doesn't care who she steps on or destroys in her quest. She has no love for anyone, except for maybe her son. Even if she does love her son, she only shows it when she's manipulating him to do what she wants him to. He's a monster, some higher force was punishing her for something and she's not happy until the world is burning.
Charlie is completely brainwashed and believes every lie that passes his mother's lips, even at the price of his sanity. He sees his mother as a saint and the rest of the world is full of demons.

Powers and Abilities:
Superior Eyesight: Charlie's multiple eyes allows him to see detail better than any microscope. Although he can see details at a close range, he cannot see such details at far ranges. In these situations he contains the eyesight of any other normal being.
Multiple Angles: His eyes can also see independently of each other, allowing him to see wider range of his area. This also allows him to focus on more than one thing at a time.
Webbing: Along his abdomen there are four ports which rotate on an internal pivoting system. From these ports he can aim and spew webbing that is twice as strong as steel thread of the same thickness and 300% more effective at absorbing kenetic energy than kevlar.
Breathable Skin: Charlie's skin is lined with book lungs beneath the dermis allowing him to breath through his skin's pores. As a result, he has eyes in the place of where nostrils should be.
History: Samantha had a rough childhood, both parents being drug addicts and barely home. In her young age she witnessed horrors a child should never witness, but she still had hope for something greater. She focused her hopes into having a child, someone she could mold and shield. She had Charlie at a young age, but her hope quickly became a horror when she witnessed the monster she had given birth to. A piece of her wanted to kill him, but it was the other half that prevailed. The half that said this was her punishment, that this is what the world is, nothing but rotten to the core. The Earth in its entirety is an abomination, that needs to be destroyed.
She figured out how to do just that. With the use of her son's skills, and with the funding from her drug dealing business, Samantha has created an a microscopic organic organism with nano technological components. Its brilliant really, and who would suspect a no name nurse in New York City? Much less a drug dealer with the mind and resources to create such a thing. She calls her creation, Hope, and sells it as new recreational drug.
This drug is unlike anything on the market and even its reputation doesn't proceed it. The organic components keeps the body from rejecting it, allowing it to stay in the system, unbeknownst to its user and interact on a chemical and hormonal level. The nano part of the drug serves two parts: One part, allowing it to read the chemicals released by the brain and interpret it creating whatever sensation its user desires. The second, it contains a timing device. When the timer reaches zero, it is programmed to release a chemical that will react with the x gene and the brain simultaneously in a violent and overwhelming way.
