Description: Cassie is a pretty woman, with a girlish look to her and a mischievous smile that is uncannily likeable. Her hair is short, in a bobcut, and strawberry blonde - with a hint of baby pink that you can't quite tell whether or not is natural. Her eyes are red, but not off-puttingly so, as red has become a more common eye colour due to the prevalence of bots - regardless, Cassie still finds it prudent to cover them up with a fashionable pair of sunglasses the majority of the time. Cassie's build is average, she isn't overweight, nor underweight - she has an every-woman shape, nothing to be envied, nothing to be pitied. Her attire tends to be neutral, and smart-casual, usually focused around shirts and trousers rather than dresses and more extravagant clothing. Not tall or particularly short, at 5' 7", Cassie has very few characteristics that could be held against her, either positive or negative to be envied or disliked, respectively.
Personality: As a socibot, Cassie is first and foremost, likeable. She has many faces, depending on who she is addressing, but as her primary task is to supervise and rehabilitate Alice Dawson, the persona she most often adopts is the one that Alice finds approachable, pleasant and overall good company. Cassie makes a point of being talkative and assertive, both things that Alice herself isn't, keeping conversations going and interjecting when the other woman struggles in her shyness. She carefully directs conversations away from topics that Alice doesn't like, such as her life with her ex-husband, Jake, and makes sure that the woman is as comfortable as possible in any given situation. This takes priority over befriending other people, but Cassie still manages to be pleasant and kind to strangers despite this preoccupation.
History: Cassie's life has been relatively uneventful as far as lives go, the most significant event being her signing onto a government project for criminal rehabilitation, which led to her assignment with Alice a few months ago. From that point, the Socibot has rarely left the woman's side - they share an apartment, go out together, and are incredibly close friends.

Appearance: Alice is a quietly attractive woman, graceful and composed, and very restrained. She doesn't make any efforts to flaunt her appearance, preferring instead to wear thick clothing and many layers, as if hiding away within herself. She is a stark contrast to Cassie's fashionable and feisty look, seeming ill at ease in anything remotely stylish, preferring plain and ordinary clothing. Her hair is long and mid-brown, falling in well kept slightly wavy locks to her upper back, the one aspect of her appearance that she pays attention to - forming a morning ritual of sorts. Her eyes are hazel and often downcast, a result of her abusive husband's irritation when she met his eyes. Her build is slim and dainty, and she is of average height at 5' 8"
Personality: Alice is quiet, shy and reclusive. She dislikes speaking to strangers, though Cassie encourages her to by inviting strangers into their conversations, in an attempt to get her used to general interaction again. Alice doesn't like loud places, or anything that reminds her of her ex-husband, and is very timid towards men as a result. However, thanks to Cassie, she can now speak to other people quite confidently - before her husband of three years broke her spirit, Alice was a very outspoken individual, and Cassie's gentle nurturing is slowly reviving that person. Slowly.
History: After graduating from university with a degree in English Literature, Alice set about trying to become a writer alongside her boyfriend of six months, Jake. Though all of her submitted manuscripts were rejected by publishers, she continued to write, and eventually published a book (A Nameless Funeral), and made a moderate amount of money from its sale. Jake and her married shortly after, and after a year of marital satisfaction things began to go wrong. Jake wanted children, Alice wanted to wait. Jake wanted Alice to get another job, Alice wasn't motivated to do so. Eventually, this pent up irritation came out when Jake lashed out at Alice physically, and after that first blow, the tide just kept coming. For another two years Alice endured abuse after abuse after abuse, verbal, physical, emotional - there was nobody she felt she could turn to, nobody she trusted, and so eventually, she simply snapped. Cast to the floor by Jake's fist, the man had turned away to roar and swear at the wall. Alice pulled herself to her feet, snatched up a kitchen knife, and attacked him. He was hospitalised, she was jailed for three years. Recently released, Alice was assigned Cassie as a partner after getting to know her in several sessions in the weeks before her release, and is going through the hardships of rehabilitation.
