The Queen Anne's Revenge

Amelia stood at the helm of The Queen Anne's Revenge.
"CREW!" she yelled, "LISTEN UP YOU LOW LIFE DOGS!" No one stopped working. She huffed loudly. Jonathan Scotte, Amelia's first mate, appeared at her side.
"Here, Capp'n, allow me," he said gruffly. Jonathan held a special place in his heart for Amelia. She was either learning by his side, or Blackbeards.
"OY!" he yelled and fired a shot in the air. The crew stopped instantly and look up at the helm.
"Excuse me, Mr. Scotte?" she called in a soft deadly voice. He looked up at her with a wicked grin.
"Yes, Cappn?" he responded. The whole crew had dread written on their face. Biting her lip, she looked at every single one of them.
"Can you explain to me why the crew ignored me, Johnny Boy?" she asked, a dangerous look crossed her face.
"Because you are a woman and I only take my orders from men!" an obviously suicidal crewman responded. Johnny Boy paled. She cocked her head to the side. Chewing on her lip, she made her way down the stairs and walked until she stood about four inches from him.
"What is your name, handsome?" she asked in a low breathy voice, purposely putting longing and need into it. She looked up at him through her eyelashes. He stepped closer to her.
"My name is," he was cut off as Amelia's sword pierced his chest. Gasping for air, he fell to the ground and died.
"Are you all listening?" she spoke softly.
"YES, CAPP'N!" they all responded in unison.
"First of all, remove his corpse from my ship, NOW!," she paused as two men threw him overboard, "Second of all, set sail to Blackbeard's, lord rest his soul, Island." In an instance, everyone was back to work. Heading back up to the helm, she took the wheel and turned the ship in a full 360.
"ON TO BLACKBEARD'S ISLAND!" she yelled.

The sense of being pursued had not quite left Benito de Soto's mind ever since they'd departed Gibraltar so many days ago. Several times an hour he would linger on the rear deck and scan the horizon for government ships. It just all seemed too uncanny...the receipt of that strange letter...the unexpected prison break...it was all too convenient.

Still, he wasn't about to complain. After this length of time he should probably be fairly certain that he was truly free once again. And not only free, but about to sail straight into another potentially very lucrative adventure. And it got better still, an adventure with the charming daughter of one of the most notorious pirates of the age.

Well...he wasn't sure 'charming' was entirely the right word. He'd heard various accounts of the "Dark Angel", and they each portrayed her quite differently. It would be exciting, he thought, to see for himself the reality. For almost any other woman pirate he would expect to find a rather delicate, pretentious thing surrounded by a loyal entourage of burly males. But in Amelia Swords' case - knowing her heritage - he retained the very real possibility that she may be every bit as strong and dangerous as the accounts of her suggested.

Time would tell.

He hurried down the steps onto the main deck. His first mate had not been seen in a couple of hours, and he was reminded at a glance that this ship really was sailing on a skeleton crew. Having so few on board was a dangerous venture this far out to sea...but then again, sailing back towards Europe having only just broken out of prison wouldn't exactly be any safer.

Locating a man he knew was called Rodriguez, he straighted himself up confidently and asked "Have you seen the first mate? I need to know how much progress we've made."

Rodriguez shrugged his shoulder and nodded his head. "I do not know about the first mate, but I could tell from the stars last night that Blackbeard's island should be reachable by tomorrow."

"Tomorrow?" Benito exclaimed, "Has it really been that long since we left Gibraltar."

"It has captain." Rodriguez replied, "If I may make so bold, you have seemed terribly distracted captain. It's little wonder you've lost track of our progress."

Benito looked at him curiously and stared for quite a while. "You doubt that I am on top of the situation?"

"Uhm, no captain, I merely observed that a moment of weakness after such an ordeal is quite understandable."

"There is no room for weakness on the ocean." Benito said curtly, noticing other crew members looking on nervously. "Nor is there room for crew who do not have faith in their captain."

"My lord I swear, I did not mean...."

Benito snapped his fingers and immediately two crewmen rushed forwards. Without looking at them he issued the order: "This man doesn't have the balls for the job. We've best give him some. Bind his hands, place a canonball in his breaches and throw him overboard. We'll make faster progress without the weight."

With that, Benito made for his private quarter, turning his back on the man screaming and pleading as the other crewmen dutifully carried out the command. The last thing he heard before closing his cabin door was a shriek of terror as Rodriguez was cast into the sea. Benito knew that he could scarcely afford to lose crewmen, but any sense going around the crew that their captain was suffering any kind of weakness would be even more fatal.

He reclined in his chair and sighed. So, they would be at Blackbeard's island by tomorrow? And they were really not being pursued? Usually if something seemed too good to be true, it was. Perhaps this time things really were as good as they seemed.

"Where is my first mate!" Jack yelled to his crew. "I have need of her."
"She's below deck Cap'n." said one of the helmsmen.
He paused for a second "Well, don't just stand there fool go get her."
"A-Aye Cap'n." said the helmsmen as he scurried off to get the first mate.
As soon as the helmsman got below Jack looked at his crew."Who was that man?" he asked.
The crew looked around at each other asking if they knew him. They mumbled around for a few seconds and then one man said "We don't know Cap'n."
"A stowaway. Looks like we'll have a plank walking before the day ends." He paused again. "Back to work you dogs!"

Blackbeard's Home- Blackbeard's Island

Amelia arrived at Blackbeard's Island three days ahead of schedule. Seeing it made her sad. Her father and her would come to his island every year and take a month long break. The house her father owned on his Island was a beautiful old house that her father had built when he was still a young lad. Walking up to the house, her crew followed her. The house was fully staffed with people that her father had found unfit for crew members but that need work. She knocked on the door quietly. She heard someone scramble to the door and open it. A tall, dark-skinned man stood in the doorway.
"Josiah," She smiled and gave him a big hug, "Will you go to the kitchen for me and tell them to make supper?"
"Aye, Ms. Amelia," he responded as he squeezed her tightly. Amelia headed to her bedroom. It had a beautiful view of the Carribean Sea. Sitting down at her desk, she could see The Queen Anne's Revenge. Taking out three pieces of parchment, she sighed a sad, broken-hearted sigh. She began writing three more notes.

Dear Captain Benito de Soto and first mate,
Thank you for joining us on Blackbeard's Island. Supper will be served at 5 o'clock sharp. During dinner we will discuss tactics and planning.
Thank you,
Captain Amelia "Dark Angel" Swords.

Dear Captain Dion Corsair and first mate,
I thank you for joining me on Blackbeard's Island. Supper will be served at 5 o'clock sharp. During dinner we will discuss tactics and planning.
Thank you,
Captain Amelia "Darl Angel" Swords

Dear Captain Jack Dawson and First mate,
Thank you for joining me on Blackbeard's Island. Supper will be served at 5 o' clock sharp. During dinner we will discuss tactics and planning.
Thank you,
Captain Amelia "Dark Angel" Swords

After she finished writing her letters, she put them in envelopes and sealed them with her father's signature seal, a skull and cross bones. Addressing to each of the captain's, she felt a few tears in her eyes. She walked into the rooms she had designated for each captain. Laying down in her room, she waited for the arrival of the most ruthless and feared pirate captains in the world.

Red had been searching the decks bellow cause she smelled a rat and it was a big one. She knew she had made the count of crew and checked it twice. But she found herself counting one to many so she went looking for signs that someone had stowed away on her adopted fathers ship. She wouldn't stand for it they had enough trouble dividing the booty they commandeered and still have enough to take care of the ship. They didn't need an extra grubby little paw trying to get a cut of something they didn't earn, "Someone will be fancying a hook if they try to take from my father", she said to no one in particular. It was then she saw someone she didn't recognize, she pulled one of her pistols as he snuck by, quietly coming up behind him she grinned. "Now love you have my pistol to the back of yer head and if ya don't want to be knowen what the inside of yer head looks like. I'd be really careful about what ya do right now Savy." The stowaway swallowed hard as she led him back up on deck.

"Well father would you looky what I found a big ol sea rat thinks they can put one over on the lady", she said with a hearty laugh. "I be thinking we need to pull out the plank" she said to Jack. She leaned over whispered almost seductively in the stowaways ear "What ya think of that rat?".

Dion was in his quarters reading over the letter he had received from the daughter of Edward Teach. Widely known as Blackbeard, though he had always known him as Captain Teach ever since he met him when he was a small boy and he had fed him when he was in a stockade in Normandy awaiting trial. He had escaped of course but had met him years later when he was a pirate. Dion's reminiscing was interrupted when one of his crew men opened his door and said, "Captain, we will be arriving to Blackbeard's island within the hour, sir" Without looking up form the letter, Dion drew one of his pistols and shot the man right between the eyes, never looking away from the letter. He re-holstered one of his six trophy pistols from the six high born french admirals and said in a very calm tone. "Thank you Mr.Pop, but it is customary that you knock before entering the room of your Captain. Be sure to remember that when you run messages for Satan." He placed the letter down, stood up, walked over the corpse and left his quarters.

The wind greeted him with a fine Bonjour. The sun was half way down the sky and the ocean was as blue as ever. He strolled around the deck of the Loup Garou, making sure all of his men were doing there duties. He saw two of his men scrubbing the deck and he called for them. "You two, come." The two got up as quickly as they could and ran over to him. "Bonjour mon Capitaine! What can we do for you?" they said in unison. "Mr. Pop is bleeding all over my quarters. Remove him from the ship and scrub the floors. If they are not spotless by the time we arrive at the island, I will stab you both through your left hands." He said in a calm serious voice, his intense golden eyes focused on them. "Are we clear?""Oui, mon Capitaine!"they said again in unison, knowing that their captain never made a threat he could not perform. "Bon, now off with you." The two ran past him and up into his quarters.

Dion walked to the stern of the ship up to the helm. He then turned to look to where the island was. "Land, Ho!" the man in the crows nest called. They had found the island of Blackbeard.

"Clam down Rachel." He hated having her as his first mate since she was his adopted daughter but he could never tell her no. "Rachel leave that man with a couple of the deck hands and get up here I don't need you getting your hands dirty in this situation." Above all else he hated when she got involved in violence. He glanced around feeling impatient. "Do I need to wipe your butt's too? Two of you grab that rat and take him to the brig!" As the two deck hands took the stowaway Rachel came up the stairs to Jack. "Rachel you know I hate it when you get to involved in the dangerous matters on the ship." But no matter how had he tried he couldn't get mad at her. "Now I need you to take care of one thing for me, can you do that? Ok I need you to keep all the men on deck sharp I'm going to question that stowaway and get a count of all our supplies before we land on Black Beard's Island. I trust that this will be enough for now and that you'll keep out of trouble." When he was assured that she knew what she had to do Jack made his way to the brig to squeeze information out of the stowaway. "Deck hand," he said to one of the crew "go below and get me a full count of what's there. If I don't have it by dinner you'll be on a long boat in the middle of nowhere. Am I clear!" Jack peered at the man as to fully intimidate him. "A-A-Aye Cap'n. A-Anything else C-Cap'n?" The man stuttered. "Just one." he paused with a slight smile on his face, "Do you want a last meal before I set you adrift?" With that the deck hand ran down below to get a full tally of everything on The Bloody Coral.

The rising sun cast a fitting backdrop as Benito and a few select crew members planted their boots on the beach of Blackbeard's island. The Burla Negra was silhouetted against the dawn a little way out into the bay, and stepping out of the landing boat Benito looked up at the mansion set into the sloping hillside of the island.

Without as work his crew followed him up the winding path towards the house. There was very little foliage or cover on the way; no doubt the house had been build in such a location as to give intruders very little chance of approaching without being seen. Benito was glad he was no attacking; by the time he reached the house he would be exhausted. So he took a nice easy pace so as not to be too out of breath on arrival.

Knocking on the door he was greeted by a rather lowly, yet kindly looking manservant, who acknowledged that Benito was expected and led him through the house to a prepared room. Benito looked around taking everything in. Throughout the house he caught glimpses of treasures and artefacts which he wondered to him if they were Blackbeard's plunderings. A sense of awe overcame him the more he saw...but the one thing he did not see was Amelia, and as such the greatest of the Spanish pirate's curiosities remained unsatisfied for now.

On arriving at his room, he dismissed the crew and bid them to set up camp on the beach and await further word. He closed the door and walked over to the bed where an envelope had been set down, sealed and addressed to him. A smirk crossed his lips and he opened it, reading the letter inside.

"Very well," he said to himself with a nod and a smile, "Dinner at five it is."

Blackbeard's House- Blackbeard's Island
Johnny Boy knocked on Amelia's door. She was combing her hair and gazing out the window. She had seen Captain Dion "Hawk Eye" Corsair's ship, along with the infamous Captain Benito "Velox" de Soto. She answered the door with a bit of an irritated look.
"Yes, Johnny Boy?" she smiled. It was a forced smile.
"First of all, you look lovely, Capp'n. Secondly, dinner will be ready in five minutes," he said with a gentle smile, "Amelia, your father would be proud." It warmed her heart to hear it. She had always strived to be a great pirate. She made her way and sat at the head of the table. She kicked her feet up and leaned in a manner that she could not be seen when all the other captain's entered the room. Her brilliant eyes looked at the painting on the wall. It had been painted when she was 16. The loving look in his eyes brought tears to her eyes.
"I miss you, father," she said softly to herself.

The longboat bobbed against the waves, seeking to lap against the shore of Blackbeard's Island. Dion stood at the head of the boat, and hopped off the moment the men had pushed it ashore. He turned to the two men who had been rowing, each of them had a bandage on their left hands. They noticed his gaze and cowered. He then turned to his boatswain. "Monsiuer Chocola't. Wait here with the men, make camp. i am not sure how long I will be here. If any of the men behave inappropriately, 5 lashes should do the trick."Dion said as if he didn't care. "Oui, mon Capitaine." he responded in his deep bass voice. With that, he turned about face and walked towards the house that lay on the Island. He couldn't help but admire the subtle tactical advantage towards a land assault. Captain Teach didn't get to be known as the most feared pirates of the sea by being careless.

He rapped three times against the door of the house and was greeted by a plump woman with an interesting accent. She bid him come in, so he did. She showed him to his room, apparently he would be spending the night here. He noticed a letter on his bed addressed to him. He opened it and began to read it.

Dear Captain Dion Corsair,
I thank you for joining me on Blackbeard's Island. Supper will be served at 5 o'clock sharp. During dinner we will discuss tactics and planning.
Thank you,
Captain Amelia "Dark Angel" Swords

5 o'clock? Dion glanced at the clock in his room. That was in two minutes, he guessed he got here just in time. He went to the water closet and splashed some water on his face. He straitened himself, and proceeded out of his room. As he walked along the corridor, he noticed several portraits of Blackbeard, a woman and a young girl. All of them separate. He also noticed many rare valuables and antiquities. It seems Mr. Teach had more than enough to spare as decorations.

Dion reached the dinning hall and pushed open the door. He saw the table and decided to make his way to it. He then saw a young woman, sitting in a very poor manor at the head of the table. The outfit she was wearing seemed like something 50 shilling whore might wear, but Dion did not judge. "Pardone Mademoiselle, you are Captain Amelia Swords, no? Allow me to introduce myself, I am Captain Dion"Hawk Eye"Corsair." Dion said this with a hand on the Roi Autor in a casual manor, his intense eyes focused in on Amelia. He then sat down at the table on the chair directly to her left, facing the door. While sitting, Dion pulled out one of his pistols and placed it on the dinner table. "I do not mean to seem rude, but, how old are you?"

Before anyone else could speak, Benito's voice came from the doorway as he sauntered in confidently. He was surprised to find that another of the pirates had made it into the dining hall before him, even though he had been the first to arrive on the island. But then, he had certainly taken his time preparing himself for presentation to the 'Dark Angel'.

His eyes immediately scanned the room for their host, and the search did not take long. The young and disarmingly attractive lady was reclined at the other end of the table, looking somewhat distracted and troubled, yet at the same time prepared to meet her guests. He tipped his hat in her direction and smiled charmingly.

"I am sure, Captain Corsair, that our host is a woman of sufficient insight as to need no formal introduction of her own guests." He looked across at the Frenchman with a cocky smirk, then proceeded up the table to where Amelia was placed, and took her hand to kiss it courteously, saying, "As for yourself seΓ±orita, the daughter of the formidable Captain Blackbeard needs no introduction at all."

A few hours later Jack finished questioning the stowaway and returned to deck and was mildly surprised at how good Rachel had done what he had asked. "Rachel," he called out to her, "who trained you to command such respect? Most women on a ship are treated like dirt but I see you have the crew doing what I asked. Tonight you shall eat well." He turned and started up to the navigator to find out how long it would be till they would see the island, but instead he decided to just stand on his balcony and just watch the horizon.

As he watched he noticed a ship off the port side. Jack was tempted to run out the guns and plunder but he was already on a schedule and he was not going to insult his host. "First man that can tell me where that ship is from and what it's doing gets to have dinner at the captain's table. "French freighter." cried one. "Spanish merchant!" yelled another. "African blockade runner." called the man from in crows nest. "Well, which one is it?" Jack asked "It's a slave ship cap'n." called a cabin boy. "Are you sure lad? What would it be doing out here?" Jack asked the young boy. "I don't know cap'n but I saw many like that while I was in Africa." said the cabin boy. "Ok lad looks like you'll be the one eating with me and my officers tonight." Jack said to the young boy.

Her guests were arriving. She looked up when Captain Dion walked in. His eyes focused on her. She held his gaze, her piercing green eyes studying him. When you first meet a person study them darling. You never know, any weakness that they might hold. She held this thought while she watched him.
"Pardone Mademoiselle, you are Captain Amelia Swords, no? Allow me to introduce myself, I am Captain Dion"Hawk Eye"Corsair," Captain Dion asked her. He sat down at her right hand side and set his gun on the table.
"I do not mean to seem rude, but, how old are you?" he asked.
She was about to answer when Captain Benito walked in. He has obviously heard the conversation going on.
"I am sure, Captain Corsair, that our host is a woman of sufficient insight as to need no formal introduction of her own guests," Benito said as he headed towards the table where she sat, he took her hand and kissed courteously, "As for yourself seΓ±orita, the daughter of the formidable Captain Blackbeard needs no introduction at all." She blushed.

"To answer your question, Capitaine Corsair, j'ai dix-neuf," she responded, her french accent was right on the nose, "and Senor Benito, the pleasure is all mine." She winked at him.
"Well, welcome to the home of Blackbeard, lord rest his soul. It seems that we are waiting for Captain Jack Dawson. Can I get you boys something to drink?" She asked with a smile at Benito. She pulled out her flask and took another drink.

Benito smiled broadly and took a seat further down the table, reclining comfortably.

"I am happy to be served with whatever your illustrious father was in the habit of offering his guests." He said, "I am sure I am not at all above the good captain's recommendation."

He then shifting and sat upright, placing his hands on the table and leaning forward. The artefacts decoration the house had truly whetted his appetite for the upcoming voyage, and a part of him - now that he had met the daughter - was eager to see the map.

"And of course," he went on, "I understand from your letter that your father's legacy holds more appeal that good house hospitality. May I know what it says on this map you spoke of?"

"Land!" cried the man in the crows nest. Jack pulled out his telescope and surveyed the horizon and there he saw the island. "Bring up 2 longboats, we're going ashore." Instantly and without a second of hesitation 20 men prepared to bring up the boats. 10 went to the cargo hold while the other 10 prepared to lift the longboats and make them to embark for black beards island. "I have lost my first mate again. If anyone sees her tell her that I've gone ashore to meet the Angel known as Swords." As the men got the first boat clear Jack looked at it and changed his mind. "I've had a change in heart." Jack proclaimed "One longboat shall do. all 20 of you shall accompany me on this trip to shore but that is where you shall stay. Navigator find Rachel and tell her she is leading this skeleton crew tonight." An hour later Jack and his 20 crew members set the longboat safely on shore away from the tides. "Nettles you are in charge of this group tonight. If any of them are hurt in any way in the morning you shall pay with you life." The look on the mans face was of sheer terror and it took him a second to reply."A-Aye C-C-Captain." Jack laughed "Calm down lad I was just joking with you, but I was serious you're in charge." Nettles relaxed and Jack found his way to the door. "Knock. Knock." Jack said as he barged in the front door. "Must be dinner time. Amelia," Jack called out. "I have arrived." just as he finished he was found by 2 of the house keepers and they led him to dinner not giving him the chance to rest. "Ah Ms. Amelia it's been so long how are you this fine evening? O and Mr. Benito I see you have received a letter also. But who is this lad? Lad," he said looking to Corsair "where is your captain?" As he finished his sentence Jack took a seat and sat waiting for any responses he might get.

"Well my father, lord rest his soul, would offer rum. JOSIAH!" Amelia called, "and as for the map, Captain de Soto, we will just have to wait until after dinner." Josiah appeared in the dining room.
"Yes, Ms. Swords?" he asked.
"Bring three bottles of rum in here. Also tell Elsa that dinner should have been on the table," Amelia paused as she pulled out a pocket watch and checked it, "four minutes ago." Josiah nodded and went to the kitchen. [I] Where is Jack?[\I] At this moment, Captain Jack "Longbeard" Dawson walked in. A large smile appeared on Amelia's face. Had anyone else walked in late, Amelia would have shot them dead in the doorway.
"Jack, you do know that you were extremely lucky to be who you are. Had you been anyone else, you would be on the floor, lying in a pool of your own blood?" she asked with a look that said she was not to be trifled with. Elsa walked in carrying a steaming plate of food. Setting it on the table, she turned to Amelia.
"Is there anything else I can get you, Ms. Amelia?" she asked in a heavily accented voice. Amelia beckoned her to come closer.
"Bring out another bottle of rum and the gifts for Dawson, Corsair, and De Soto," Amelia whispered. Elsa nodded and hurried back to kitchen. Amelia opened her bottle of rum.
"Please eat. Just think, Captain de Soto, the sooner everyone is finished eating means the sooner we can glance at my father's, lord rest his soul, map." She winked at Benito.

Red stood outside as her father went in to meet with the other captains, she watched as others milled around but she stood were she was just in case her father needed her. Jack may not have been her real father but he and the ships crew was the closest she had to family so she would stand by their side in any kinds of situation. She sighed what did this captain Swords have in mind exactly it had to be something important to get all of these pirates in one place. As she stood leaning next to the door. She kept spinning her pistol around on her finger, just to pass the time.

"Well then rum it is." Benito grinned, "And very well seΓ±orita, they do they the anticipation is half the pleasure, no?"

He smirked as he watched her command her staff with such authority. Without doubt she was entirely her father's daughter. Benito himself had never met Blackbeard of course...he was not much older than Amelia himself. No doubt they both suffered the same assumptions about their young ages as impacting on their reputation as pirates...

He looked up as captain Dawson was greeted by the young woman. So, those two knew each other? Suddenly the situation seemed a little less rosy...these were pirates after all. If the time came to curry favour over against the others on the voyage, pre-existing friendships didn't exactly work in his favour. Still, he tipped his hat courteously at the new arrival.

But his mood improved once again as Amerlia addressed him and favoured him with a wink. He held his arms out in admission.

"I confess Amelia," he said, making bold to address her by her first name, "that I am becoming more inclined to savour the moment than to rush. After all, I am sure that whatever this map is leading to will not object to waiting a little longer whilst we...acquaint ourselves."

Amelia dished food onto her plate. Taking a delicate bite of potato, she examined Benito with piercing green eyes. Elsa hurried back into the dining room carrying three parcels and a bottle of rum. She distributed them with ease.
"Is there anything else you will be needing, Ms. Swords?" she asked. Amelia shook her head. Elsa hurried out of the dining room.
"Gentlemen, I have gifts for you. They are to show my thanks," she said before taking a rather unladylike drink of rum. She messed with the cross necklace around her neck. Blackbeard had given her the necklace for her tenth birthday. She sighed. She looked out the window to see if anyone was approaching. It was a paranoid habit she had picked up from her father. It is better to watch your own arse than get shot in the back by an unfaithful crewman. She was seven when her father had told her. She looked at Jack. He still looked the same.

"Well Ms. Amelia I thank you kindly for your hospitality and the rum, can't forget the rum." He smiled and laughed for a second and then looked back to her. "Amelia what makes you want this treasure so bad, it's much to dangerous and I could't forgive myself if you were killed. I just want what is best for my old captains daughter." Jack was truly worried about her welfare. So as the conversation continued they caught up and remembered old memories.

After finishing his conversation Jack went out to Rachel and invited her to stay in his room for the night and he would stay with the men. He must have insisted for an hour before she finally took him up on his offer and he began to returned to the beach. "Before I go back down there I should probably tell Amelia that you will have my quarters this night." So he went to tell Amelia and concluded his night on the beach with his men.

When Jack mentioned the danger, she almost laughed. She grew up under the wing of Blackbeard. Still Jack was almost as feared as Blackbeard.
"I know it is dangerous, Jack. That happens to be the reason I invited you to join me in the hunt," she replied with a smile, "plus, my father, lord rest his soul, told me all about the terrifying adventures you would go on." Amelia was often rocked to sleep at night with pirate songs and perilous pirate adventures. Then She brought up the time Johnny Boy was captured by Captain Thoreaux. They spent the rest of the evening telling tales of piracy and villainy. There were times during the evening when Amelia was laughing so hard she had tears in her eyes. As the evening progressed the amount of rum in Amelia's system did too. Later that evening, Amelia remembered something her father told her tell Captain Jack. She entered his room to find Red there instead. Holding her sword to girl's throat, she nudged her awake.
"Who are you?" Amelia practically yelled at her," and no lies!" Amelia's yelling had woken Johnny Boy up and he practically ran into the room.
"What is wrong, captain?" Johnny Boy asked before he noticed Red. Johnny Boy sighed and gently took the sword from Amelia. He then leaned down and whispered in her ear.
"That is Red, Captain Dawson's first mate and daughter."
"Are you sure?" Johnny boy nodded.
"Sorry about that," Amelia said as she left the room. Johnny Boy sighed and smiled a friendly smile towards Red. He slowly left the room, shutting the door behind him.

I'm still watching but no one has been posting so I can't go anywhere. As far as the plot though I can't think of anything.

Re: [OOC] Yo Ho! A Pirates life for me.

Hey Matey's,
I was wondering if you guys are still alive. Also any idears for the plot?
Captain Swords

Re: [OOC] Yo Ho! A Pirates life for me.

I think it was misdirected, got confused between Dion and Benito?

Re: [OOC] Yo Ho! A Pirates life for me.

I am a little confused as to why Jack called Dion a lad. They are the same age.

Re: [OOC] Yo Ho! A Pirates life for me.

Dear Fellow Captains,
As of right now it seems that we are lacking in plot. Any ideas what the first scuffle should be? Also, I really like everyone's characters. I can't wait to watch this blossom into a beautiful roleplay.
XOXO,
Captain Swords

Re: [OOC] Yo Ho! A Pirates life for me.

@spikerer Just ignore me. I'm retarded sometimes. HAHA. I wasn't paying attention. sorry about the confusion.
@smhband Nice post!!! XD
Dear Pirate Captains and First Mates,

I am sooooExcited,
Captain Amelia "Dark Angel" Swords

Re: [OOC] Yo Ho! A Pirates life for me.

Alright done editting the post! '^^

Re: [OOC] Yo Ho! A Pirates life for me.

I already have a first mate. Why would I need to create one?

Re: [OOC] Yo Ho! A Pirates life for me.

Whoops, I posted before I saw your post here. I'll edit it now to include an act of cruelty, lol. Hold fire on reading it!

Re: [OOC] Yo Ho! A Pirates life for me.

Yes. His character is a lot like Amelia. And I can't wait to read it. Be sure to include an example of his cruelty.

Re: [OOC] Yo Ho! A Pirates life for me.

Groovy I see Benito was accepted, you liked him OK then? :) I shall now proceed to post.

Re: [OOC] Yo Ho! A Pirates life for me.

@shmband umm. don't worry about it. there needs to be a place for Maci.
Also, I have done the first post, so please post away.

Re: [OOC] Yo Ho! A Pirates life for me.

I'll be making my character today, you originally said to hold off making my first mate. You want me to do that now?

Re: [OOC] Yo Ho! A Pirates life for me.

Hey spikerer,
Can you do me a huge favor and make your first mate?
Thanks,
MotherDragons

Also, we have all of our captains, so I am going to do the first post.

Re: [OOC] Yo Ho! A Pirates life for me.

Okay. Do you know anyone who would be interested in joining? And I loved Capp'n Corsair.

Re: [OOC] Yo Ho! A Pirates life for me.

ummmmmm....I thought the first mate characters were for other rpers. I kind of want to wait for other people. But if you need me to, I guess I'll make one after some time has gone by and looks like we won't be getting more people.

Besides that, did you like my character?

Re: [OOC] Yo Ho! A Pirates life for me.

Yep. Will you make your first mate character?

Re: [OOC] Yo Ho! A Pirates life for me.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.....so he did have a heart under all of that chest hair, sores and scurvy.

Re: [OOC] Yo Ho! A Pirates life for me.

@sneakyrio her mother's last name was swords. Her father gave Amelia, her mothers last name because she reminded him of her mother.
