Introduction
I am well aware that you are one of the most ruthless pirates. That is in fact my reasoning for writing to you. My father, Lord rest his soul, has passed on, leaving me to be the new captain of the Queen Anne's Revenge. Whilst going through his worldly possesions, I stumbled upon a map to his treasure map. As I hope you know, his treasure is one of the most vast treasure's in pirate history. I call upon you and your first mate to sail with me and search for it. Meet me on Blackbeard's Island by May 16th, 1776. I can not wait to see you, scallawags.
Best Wishes,
Amelia "Dark Angel" Swords

Amelia stood at the helm of The Queen Anne's Revenge.
"CREW!" she yelled, "LISTEN UP YOU LOW LIFE DOGS!" No one stopped working. She huffed loudly. Jonathan Scotte, Amelia's first mate, appeared at her side.
"Here, Capp'n, allow me," he said gruffly. Jonathan held a special place in his heart for Amelia. She was either learning by his side, or Blackbeards.
"OY!" he yelled and fired a shot in the air. The crew stopped instantly and look up at the helm.
"Excuse me, Mr. Scotte?" she called in a soft deadly voice. He looked up at her with a wicked grin.
"Yes, Cappn?" he responded. The whole crew had dread written on their face. Biting her lip, she looked at every single one of them.
"Can you explain to me why the crew ignored me, Johnny Boy?" she asked, a dangerous look crossed her face.
"Because you are a woman and I only take my orders from men!" an obviously suicidal crewman responded. Johnny Boy paled. She cocked her head to the side. Chewing on her lip, she made her way down the stairs and walked until she stood about four inches from him.
"What is your name, handsome?" she asked in a low breathy voice, purposely putting longing and need into it. She looked up at him through her eyelashes. He stepped closer to her.
"My name is," he was cut off as Amelia's sword pierced his chest. Gasping for air, he fell to the ground and died.
"Are you all listening?" she spoke softly.
"YES, CAPP'N!" they all responded in unison.
"First of all, remove his corpse from my ship, NOW!," she paused as two men threw him overboard, "Second of all, set sail to Blackbeard's, lord rest his soul, Island." In an instance, everyone was back to work. Heading back up to the helm, she took the wheel and turned the ship in a full 360.
"ON TO BLACKBEARD'S ISLAND!" she yelled.

Still, he wasn't about to complain. After this length of time he should probably be fairly certain that he was truly free once again. And not only free, but about to sail straight into another potentially very lucrative adventure. And it got better still, an adventure with the charming daughter of one of the most notorious pirates of the age.
Well...he wasn't sure 'charming' was entirely the right word. He'd heard various accounts of the "Dark Angel", and they each portrayed her quite differently. It would be exciting, he thought, to see for himself the reality. For almost any other woman pirate he would expect to find a rather delicate, pretentious thing surrounded by a loyal entourage of burly males. But in Amelia Swords' case - knowing her heritage - he retained the very real possibility that she may be every bit as strong and dangerous as the accounts of her suggested.
Time would tell.
He hurried down the steps onto the main deck. His first mate had not been seen in a couple of hours, and he was reminded at a glance that this ship really was sailing on a skeleton crew. Having so few on board was a dangerous venture this far out to sea...but then again, sailing back towards Europe having only just broken out of prison wouldn't exactly be any safer.
Locating a man he knew was called Rodriguez, he straighted himself up confidently and asked "Have you seen the first mate? I need to know how much progress we've made."
Rodriguez shrugged his shoulder and nodded his head. "I do not know about the first mate, but I could tell from the stars last night that Blackbeard's island should be reachable by tomorrow."
"Tomorrow?" Benito exclaimed, "Has it really been that long since we left Gibraltar."
"It has captain." Rodriguez replied, "If I may make so bold, you have seemed terribly distracted captain. It's little wonder you've lost track of our progress."
Benito looked at him curiously and stared for quite a while. "You doubt that I am on top of the situation?"
"Uhm, no captain, I merely observed that a moment of weakness after such an ordeal is quite understandable."
"There is no room for weakness on the ocean." Benito said curtly, noticing other crew members looking on nervously. "Nor is there room for crew who do not have faith in their captain."
"My lord I swear, I did not mean...."
Benito snapped his fingers and immediately two crewmen rushed forwards. Without looking at them he issued the order: "This man doesn't have the balls for the job. We've best give him some. Bind his hands, place a canonball in his breaches and throw him overboard. We'll make faster progress without the weight."
With that, Benito made for his private quarter, turning his back on the man screaming and pleading as the other crewmen dutifully carried out the command. The last thing he heard before closing his cabin door was a shriek of terror as Rodriguez was cast into the sea. Benito knew that he could scarcely afford to lose crewmen, but any sense going around the crew that their captain was suffering any kind of weakness would be even more fatal.
He reclined in his chair and sighed. So, they would be at Blackbeard's island by tomorrow? And they were really not being pursued? Usually if something seemed too good to be true, it was. Perhaps this time things really were as good as they seemed.

"She's below deck Cap'n." said one of the helmsmen.
He paused for a second "Well, don't just stand there fool go get her."
"A-Aye Cap'n." said the helmsmen as he scurried off to get the first mate.
As soon as the helmsman got below Jack looked at his crew."Who was that man?" he asked.
The crew looked around at each other asking if they knew him. They mumbled around for a few seconds and then one man said "We don't know Cap'n."
"A stowaway. Looks like we'll have a plank walking before the day ends." He paused again. "Back to work you dogs!"

Amelia arrived at Blackbeard's Island three days ahead of schedule. Seeing it made her sad. Her father and her would come to his island every year and take a month long break. The house her father owned on his Island was a beautiful old house that her father had built when he was still a young lad. Walking up to the house, her crew followed her. The house was fully staffed with people that her father had found unfit for crew members but that need work. She knocked on the door quietly. She heard someone scramble to the door and open it. A tall, dark-skinned man stood in the doorway.
"Josiah," She smiled and gave him a big hug, "Will you go to the kitchen for me and tell them to make supper?"
"Aye, Ms. Amelia," he responded as he squeezed her tightly. Amelia headed to her bedroom. It had a beautiful view of the Carribean Sea. Sitting down at her desk, she could see The Queen Anne's Revenge. Taking out three pieces of parchment, she sighed a sad, broken-hearted sigh. She began writing three more notes.
Dear Captain Benito de Soto and first mate,
Thank you for joining us on Blackbeard's Island. Supper will be served at 5 o'clock sharp. During dinner we will discuss tactics and planning.
Thank you,
Captain Amelia "Dark Angel" Swords.
Dear Captain Dion Corsair and first mate,
I thank you for joining me on Blackbeard's Island. Supper will be served at 5 o'clock sharp. During dinner we will discuss tactics and planning.
Thank you,
Captain Amelia "Darl Angel" Swords
Dear Captain Jack Dawson and First mate,
Thank you for joining me on Blackbeard's Island. Supper will be served at 5 o' clock sharp. During dinner we will discuss tactics and planning.
Thank you,
Captain Amelia "Dark Angel" Swords
After she finished writing her letters, she put them in envelopes and sealed them with her father's signature seal, a skull and cross bones. Addressing to each of the captain's, she felt a few tears in her eyes. She walked into the rooms she had designated for each captain. Laying down in her room, she waited for the arrival of the most ruthless and feared pirate captains in the world.

"Well father would you looky what I found a big ol sea rat thinks they can put one over on the lady", she said with a hearty laugh. "I be thinking we need to pull out the plank" she said to Jack. She leaned over whispered almost seductively in the stowaways ear "What ya think of that rat?".

The wind greeted him with a fine Bonjour. The sun was half way down the sky and the ocean was as blue as ever. He strolled around the deck of the Loup Garou, making sure all of his men were doing there duties. He saw two of his men scrubbing the deck and he called for them. "You two, come." The two got up as quickly as they could and ran over to him. "Bonjour mon Capitaine! What can we do for you?" they said in unison. "Mr. Pop is bleeding all over my quarters. Remove him from the ship and scrub the floors. If they are not spotless by the time we arrive at the island, I will stab you both through your left hands." He said in a calm serious voice, his intense golden eyes focused on them. "Are we clear?""Oui, mon Capitaine!"they said again in unison, knowing that their captain never made a threat he could not perform. "Bon, now off with you." The two ran past him and up into his quarters.
Dion walked to the stern of the ship up to the helm. He then turned to look to where the island was. "Land, Ho!" the man in the crows nest called. They had found the island of Blackbeard.

Without as work his crew followed him up the winding path towards the house. There was very little foliage or cover on the way; no doubt the house had been build in such a location as to give intruders very little chance of approaching without being seen. Benito was glad he was no attacking; by the time he reached the house he would be exhausted. So he took a nice easy pace so as not to be too out of breath on arrival.
Knocking on the door he was greeted by a rather lowly, yet kindly looking manservant, who acknowledged that Benito was expected and led him through the house to a prepared room. Benito looked around taking everything in. Throughout the house he caught glimpses of treasures and artefacts which he wondered to him if they were Blackbeard's plunderings. A sense of awe overcame him the more he saw...but the one thing he did not see was Amelia, and as such the greatest of the Spanish pirate's curiosities remained unsatisfied for now.
On arriving at his room, he dismissed the crew and bid them to set up camp on the beach and await further word. He closed the door and walked over to the bed where an envelope had been set down, sealed and addressed to him. A smirk crossed his lips and he opened it, reading the letter inside.
"Very well," he said to himself with a nod and a smile, "Dinner at five it is."

Johnny Boy knocked on Amelia's door. She was combing her hair and gazing out the window. She had seen Captain Dion "Hawk Eye" Corsair's ship, along with the infamous Captain Benito "Velox" de Soto. She answered the door with a bit of an irritated look.
"Yes, Johnny Boy?" she smiled. It was a forced smile.
"First of all, you look lovely, Capp'n. Secondly, dinner will be ready in five minutes," he said with a gentle smile, "Amelia, your father would be proud." It warmed her heart to hear it. She had always strived to be a great pirate. She made her way and sat at the head of the table. She kicked her feet up and leaned in a manner that she could not be seen when all the other captain's entered the room. Her brilliant eyes looked at the painting on the wall. It had been painted when she was 16. The loving look in his eyes brought tears to her eyes.
"I miss you, father," she said softly to herself.

He rapped three times against the door of the house and was greeted by a plump woman with an interesting accent. She bid him come in, so he did. She showed him to his room, apparently he would be spending the night here. He noticed a letter on his bed addressed to him. He opened it and began to read it.
Dear Captain Dion Corsair,
I thank you for joining me on Blackbeard's Island. Supper will be served at 5 o'clock sharp. During dinner we will discuss tactics and planning.
Thank you,
Captain Amelia "Dark Angel" Swords
5 o'clock? Dion glanced at the clock in his room. That was in two minutes, he guessed he got here just in time. He went to the water closet and splashed some water on his face. He straitened himself, and proceeded out of his room. As he walked along the corridor, he noticed several portraits of Blackbeard, a woman and a young girl. All of them separate. He also noticed many rare valuables and antiquities. It seems Mr. Teach had more than enough to spare as decorations.
Dion reached the dinning hall and pushed open the door. He saw the table and decided to make his way to it. He then saw a young woman, sitting in a very poor manor at the head of the table. The outfit she was wearing seemed like something 50 shilling whore might wear, but Dion did not judge. "Pardone Mademoiselle, you are Captain Amelia Swords, no? Allow me to introduce myself, I am Captain Dion"Hawk Eye"Corsair." Dion said this with a hand on the Roi Autor in a casual manor, his intense eyes focused in on Amelia. He then sat down at the table on the chair directly to her left, facing the door. While sitting, Dion pulled out one of his pistols and placed it on the dinner table. "I do not mean to seem rude, but, how old are you?"

His eyes immediately scanned the room for their host, and the search did not take long. The young and disarmingly attractive lady was reclined at the other end of the table, looking somewhat distracted and troubled, yet at the same time prepared to meet her guests. He tipped his hat in her direction and smiled charmingly.
"I am sure, Captain Corsair, that our host is a woman of sufficient insight as to need no formal introduction of her own guests." He looked across at the Frenchman with a cocky smirk, then proceeded up the table to where Amelia was placed, and took her hand to kiss it courteously, saying, "As for yourself seΓ±orita, the daughter of the formidable Captain Blackbeard needs no introduction at all."

As he watched he noticed a ship off the port side. Jack was tempted to run out the guns and plunder but he was already on a schedule and he was not going to insult his host. "First man that can tell me where that ship is from and what it's doing gets to have dinner at the captain's table. "French freighter." cried one. "Spanish merchant!" yelled another. "African blockade runner." called the man from in crows nest. "Well, which one is it?" Jack asked "It's a slave ship cap'n." called a cabin boy. "Are you sure lad? What would it be doing out here?" Jack asked the young boy. "I don't know cap'n but I saw many like that while I was in Africa." said the cabin boy. "Ok lad looks like you'll be the one eating with me and my officers tonight." Jack said to the young boy.

"Pardone Mademoiselle, you are Captain Amelia Swords, no? Allow me to introduce myself, I am Captain Dion"Hawk Eye"Corsair," Captain Dion asked her. He sat down at her right hand side and set his gun on the table.
"I do not mean to seem rude, but, how old are you?" he asked.
She was about to answer when Captain Benito walked in. He has obviously heard the conversation going on.
"I am sure, Captain Corsair, that our host is a woman of sufficient insight as to need no formal introduction of her own guests," Benito said as he headed towards the table where she sat, he took her hand and kissed courteously, "As for yourself seΓ±orita, the daughter of the formidable Captain Blackbeard needs no introduction at all." She blushed.
"To answer your question, Capitaine Corsair, j'ai dix-neuf," she responded, her french accent was right on the nose, "and Senor Benito, the pleasure is all mine." She winked at him.
"Well, welcome to the home of Blackbeard, lord rest his soul. It seems that we are waiting for Captain Jack Dawson. Can I get you boys something to drink?" She asked with a smile at Benito. She pulled out her flask and took another drink.

"I am happy to be served with whatever your illustrious father was in the habit of offering his guests." He said, "I am sure I am not at all above the good captain's recommendation."
He then shifting and sat upright, placing his hands on the table and leaning forward. The artefacts decoration the house had truly whetted his appetite for the upcoming voyage, and a part of him - now that he had met the daughter - was eager to see the map.
"And of course," he went on, "I understand from your letter that your father's legacy holds more appeal that good house hospitality. May I know what it says on this map you spoke of?"

"Yes, Ms. Swords?" he asked.
"Bring three bottles of rum in here. Also tell Elsa that dinner should have been on the table," Amelia paused as she pulled out a pocket watch and checked it, "four minutes ago." Josiah nodded and went to the kitchen. [I] Where is Jack?[\I] At this moment, Captain Jack "Longbeard" Dawson walked in. A large smile appeared on Amelia's face. Had anyone else walked in late, Amelia would have shot them dead in the doorway.
"Jack, you do know that you were extremely lucky to be who you are. Had you been anyone else, you would be on the floor, lying in a pool of your own blood?" she asked with a look that said she was not to be trifled with. Elsa walked in carrying a steaming plate of food. Setting it on the table, she turned to Amelia.
"Is there anything else I can get you, Ms. Amelia?" she asked in a heavily accented voice. Amelia beckoned her to come closer.
"Bring out another bottle of rum and the gifts for Dawson, Corsair, and De Soto," Amelia whispered. Elsa nodded and hurried back to kitchen. Amelia opened her bottle of rum.
"Please eat. Just think, Captain de Soto, the sooner everyone is finished eating means the sooner we can glance at my father's, lord rest his soul, map." She winked at Benito.

He smirked as he watched her command her staff with such authority. Without doubt she was entirely her father's daughter. Benito himself had never met Blackbeard of course...he was not much older than Amelia himself. No doubt they both suffered the same assumptions about their young ages as impacting on their reputation as pirates...
He looked up as captain Dawson was greeted by the young woman. So, those two knew each other? Suddenly the situation seemed a little less rosy...these were pirates after all. If the time came to curry favour over against the others on the voyage, pre-existing friendships didn't exactly work in his favour. Still, he tipped his hat courteously at the new arrival.
But his mood improved once again as Amerlia addressed him and favoured him with a wink. He held his arms out in admission.
"I confess Amelia," he said, making bold to address her by her first name, "that I am becoming more inclined to savour the moment than to rush. After all, I am sure that whatever this map is leading to will not object to waiting a little longer whilst we...acquaint ourselves."

"Is there anything else you will be needing, Ms. Swords?" she asked. Amelia shook her head. Elsa hurried out of the dining room.
"Gentlemen, I have gifts for you. They are to show my thanks," she said before taking a rather unladylike drink of rum. She messed with the cross necklace around her neck. Blackbeard had given her the necklace for her tenth birthday. She sighed. She looked out the window to see if anyone was approaching. It was a paranoid habit she had picked up from her father. It is better to watch your own arse than get shot in the back by an unfaithful crewman. She was seven when her father had told her. She looked at Jack. He still looked the same.

After finishing his conversation Jack went out to Rachel and invited her to stay in his room for the night and he would stay with the men. He must have insisted for an hour before she finally took him up on his offer and he began to returned to the beach. "Before I go back down there I should probably tell Amelia that you will have my quarters this night." So he went to tell Amelia and concluded his night on the beach with his men.

"I know it is dangerous, Jack. That happens to be the reason I invited you to join me in the hunt," she replied with a smile, "plus, my father, lord rest his soul, told me all about the terrifying adventures you would go on." Amelia was often rocked to sleep at night with pirate songs and perilous pirate adventures. Then She brought up the time Johnny Boy was captured by Captain Thoreaux. They spent the rest of the evening telling tales of piracy and villainy. There were times during the evening when Amelia was laughing so hard she had tears in her eyes. As the evening progressed the amount of rum in Amelia's system did too. Later that evening, Amelia remembered something her father told her tell Captain Jack. She entered his room to find Red there instead. Holding her sword to girl's throat, she nudged her awake.
"Who are you?" Amelia practically yelled at her," and no lies!" Amelia's yelling had woken Johnny Boy up and he practically ran into the room.
"What is wrong, captain?" Johnny Boy asked before he noticed Red. Johnny Boy sighed and gently took the sword from Amelia. He then leaned down and whispered in her ear.
"That is Red, Captain Dawson's first mate and daughter."
"Are you sure?" Johnny boy nodded.
"Sorry about that," Amelia said as she left the room. Johnny Boy sighed and smiled a friendly smile towards Red. He slowly left the room, shutting the door behind him.

As of right now it seems that we are lacking in plot. Any ideas what the first scuffle should be? Also, I really like everyone's characters. I can't wait to watch this blossom into a beautiful roleplay.
