Dock

Adrian glared at the other students. All these slackers were late...He sighed out loud, his blue and silver duel disk in it's rest feature. Adrian decided to glance at his duel disk, it was a standard issue for Obelisk blue and he was glad he went to the dueling school a couple years back or else he would be stuck in Ra yellow. He glanced at the crowd, beginning to notice a few things.
First off was the boy who seemed very excited, staring at the edge of the boat. He was red slacks, showing the he was Slyfer. Figuires, he is so lazy that he could not even make it on time...Is he staring at my clothing again?What is his deal?Does he really want to be an obelisk so badly?Adrian thought bitterly, throwing the boy a grimace.
Next was the tall kid, he was wearing gray underneath the Ra yellow clothing, he seemed to have a strange way of dressing, it was somewhat fashionable but it still looked a bit lazy if you asked Adrian. The was he was looking around, with his observent but still bright eyes ,he could be no older than fourteen...
Finally there was a short girl who seemed to be falling over herself.He noticed she was as pale as the boat's silver rails.Was she sickly? He took a deep sigh but was shocked to see her dressed in white and yellow. How could a Ra be so clumsy? Adrian asked himself, turning away from her as she glanced at him with her deep blue eyes that reminded Adrian of his own.
Adrian leaned back one more time and felt the wood behind him give in, tossing him overboard.He shouted out, a bit too ungraceful if you asked him for an Obelisk Blue of his stature.He felt the water's rapid currents quickly pull him away. He shouted out one more time, knowing full well that they would be idiots if they attempted to rescue him.
Adrian felt the ocean's rushing water smack him in the head and the last thing he remembered before letting his concious overtake him was "Gee, I am glad they made these cards waterproof nowadays".
Adrian blinked, he saw the dark night ahead of him "How long was I out?"He would ask himself, before getting up. He looked to his right and saw that he was on the beach. He took a deep breath and examined the area around him, to his luck he landed close to the dock and began to run towards it. He stopped dead at what he saw. There was man staring out of the dock, in white clothing.He turned to Adrian and began to growl.He began to run towards Adrian and the strange man activated his duel disk.
Adrian activated his duel disk, hearing the familiar whirrling. He smiled, wondering to himself how strange today's event were. He drew five cards and noticed the man drawing the first extra card himself, forcefully taking the first turn. Adrian took a deep breath, staring at the man. The man set down two face down cards in the Spell/Trap card positon and then summoned a Vorse Raider:Four stars/1900 ATK/ 1200 DEF
Adrian drew a card and summoned his Gagagigo:Four stars/1850 ATK/100 DEF.He then equipped it with Axe of despair:increasing its attack by 1000 to a total of 2850 and set down a trap card.
Adrian attacked the vorse Raider but then the man flipped over his trap card, activating Mirror force but Adrian then activated Trap jammer, destorying both Trap Jammer and disabling Mirror Force. The vorce raider was then destroyed, dealing 950 damage to his life points, leaving only 3050.
The man smiled and set down a card in face down defense position after drawing it from his deck.
Adrian drew a card himself, looking at it and a plan forming in his head. He summoned Tricky, by sacrificng another Tricky.Tricky:Five stars/2000 ATK/1200 DEF.
Adrian activated his battle phase, attacking the face down card, seeing it as Mystical Elf:Four stars, 800 ATK/2000 DEF.He grimaced and attacked the face down monster. It was destroyed and Adrian ended his turn.
The man put on a large smile, and activted his spell card "Swords of revealing light"Unabling Adrian to attack for three turns.
Adrian grimaced and sacrificed tricky in order to summon Horus the black flame dragon LV 6:Six stars/ 2300 ATK /1600 Def. He activated its effect. Horus could ignore spell cards, and Adrian directly attacked the man. The man groaned and saw his life points being reducing it to 750.Adrian ended his turn.
The man smiled and began to disappear..Adrian shouted at the man but it was too late..The man disappeared.
Adrian felt sweat roll down his face"What the hell was that?"Adrian asked, looking at the dock and seeing everyone begin to get off. He turned to them with suprise in his face.

Pieter felt the gentle sway of the boat under his legs as they drifted closer to their destination. He looked around the boat and found it like any other normal ferry, but the riders all came from different backgrounds. Maybe some of these newcomers would become friends, allies, or even enemies. Pieter thought that having a rival on campus would not turn out well, and even having allies would not work out because then they would have rivals and expect you to back them up. He looked down at the clothes he was wearing and saw the signature Ra Yellow uniform with some under clothes he had on himself. Everything on the island corresponded with your color, even the duel disk had a glossy yellow paint on it. Pieter started to gaze at his fellow travelers again and spotted somone looking at him, but like any other time they would glance quickly away pretending not to stare. He saw a Slifer Slacker and a fellow Ra Yellow on the boat, but it was something unexpected... it was a girl. Pieter had never been good at talking to anyone new, and especially not a girl duelist. But this girl had something about her that was just begging him to go talk to her.

To get his mind off of things he took out his deck and started going through it just to remind himself why he was here in the first place. Not only was he here to become a great duelist, but someone or some group was after him. Coming to this island was one of the best methods of hiding, but still he had to be suspicious. Seeing all of these Battery Man cards really brought back memories for him and also how long it took him to get these cards. He was so focused on his card that he missed the cries for help from the Obelisk Blue he saw on the boat. As he was still looking at his cards he could not help but glance up at the Ra Yellow girl again. His mind kept on telling him to go talk to her, but this broke every rule of him being isolated from everyone.

Finally he gave in. "Hey, how's it going?", Pieter said walking up to the girl in the Ra Yellow uniform. "So I see your a Ra too".
