Summary:
Shigeru is what you'd come to expect from an ideal senpai. He's kind to his juniors, always has a sunny disposition, and willing to help out anyone who asks him. Nothing seems to get to him as he remains calm and level-headed in every situation. When he does get upset though, he can be surprisingly cold and harsh to the person who incurred his wrath. He's also a bit of a geek and is hopelessly obsessed with photography and will often babble about it when the topic is raised.

Bio/History:
Shigeru is a senior student and the president of the photography club in Uryuga High School. Shigeru is quite popular among his peers due to his kind and helpful personality. He became part of the student council when he was still a freshman, a feat that only the most diligent of students could accomplish. However he stepped down from the position when he started his junior year for unknown reasons. Some say that he couldn't take the burden of the responsibility while others say that he butted heads with the student council president at the time. Whatever the reason may be one thing is for sure; many were disappointed to see him leave the student council.
Nowadays Shigeru spends most of his free time in photography cub, giving eloquent lectures about taking pictures and what not. He has no interest in the urban legend of the cursed sophomore even after the mysterious deaths of the students in class 2-1. However, there's a rumor that Shigeru's family has been dabbling with the paranormal for generations now and many curious students ask for his assistance in investigating the truth behind Uryuga High School's urban legend.

a. Camera - Just a regular camera that Shigeru carries around all the time. It's a Nikon F90 bought by his father as a present for him.
b. Camera Obscura - A family heirloom passed down from Shigeru's great great grandfather, Kunihiko Asou. It is a vintage folding camera which is said to have the unique ability of capturing images from "the other side". Apart from cleaning and maintaining it once a month, Shigeru has never actually used it before.
