Castra Blaise Ellis's Story

Castra walked into her apartment around six-thirty in the morning. "Hi Lucas.", she smiled, placing her bag down and walking over to the large cat that was sprawled across her dining room chair. She scratched his head gently, and smiled as his loud purr sounded. She walked away after a moment, and went to the bathroom. She turned the shower on, undressed, and stepped inside, and sat down on the floor of the tub, letting the hot water run over her tired body, thinking over the events that unfolded before her only hours ago. Castra worked at a pub on the main street, and she was constantly being hit on, and always dealt with drunken disasters. She hated it, but it was her only source of income. Most places weren't really hiring in the area, so she had to stick with the Pub. She stretched out her legs, and closed her eyes, breathing softly.


She woke up when the water went ice cold, a loud squeal escaped her mouth as she scrambled to get up, still foggy with sleep, and quickly got out of the shower. She grabbed her robe and tied it on, shivering. "Jeeeez..." She walked into her bedroom after turning the shower on, and pulled on a pair of slim fit jeans that hugged her curves, and a red sequined top along with a fitted black blazer. She pulled on a pair of black stilettos, and walked out of her bedroom towards the front door. She grabbed her purse and cellphone, yelled goodbye to Lucas, and walked out the door. She decided to let instinct take over, and she made her way to the cafe down the street.

Castra took a seat at one of the tables in the cafe, and looked out the window absentmindedly, waiting for the waiter to come over and take her order. Her gaze caught on to a small group of people in the street. A girl with a big dog, a man who seemed to burst into fla-, woah..woah... What the hell is going on? She sat up quickly in her seat, watching with deep curiosity. She blinked a few times. No.. it can't be real. It's just your imagination.. it's too early, that's all. She tried to reassure herself, but it wouldn't work. She bit her lip, thinking of whether to walk out of the cafe and towards the scene, or to stay in her seat. She stayed still for a moment, contemplating.
