Introduction

As we all know, the wars between planets are now over and tourism has become a major industry. Governments all over the galaxy compete with each other to attract as many travelers as possible.

In order to improve its chances, Anachronox developed a large marketing campaign, advertising an intergalactic lottery. The winners would get a free ticket to Anachronox !

Note : This was somewhat of a scam because the actual vacation wasn't payed for and the journey back was entirely up to the tourist. But you didn't know that.

So you happily accepted!

You'll be staying in the capital, named after the planet. You and other creatures have now reached Anachronox, and are at the landing deck.

But there's an alternative! Do you really like Anachronox ? If so, instead of being a tourist, you can be an inhabitant..

Before your adventure can begin, you are asked to fill out the following sheet with your personal information. After that, you are all set and can start exploring our beautiful locations!

Anachronox is divided into three neighbourhoods:
I.Simply named Sector One, this neighborhood contains the Landing Deck and the Hotel.
II.Northern Anachronox, the rich and "clean" part of the city
III.Southern Anachronox, dark and full of mystery.

Hello there, I'm going to put the most important information here, so that I make sure you read it! Please don't run away because of the length, this will only help you understand the story better ^__^

1. This roleplay is largely based on "Anachronox", a 2001 PC video game.

"Anachronox features a science fiction story influenced by cyberpunk, film noir, and quirky humor. The game became a "semi-obscure" cult classic. " (Wikipedia)

You do NOT have to know the game in order to join!

2. If you didn't figure it out, the information sheet above is your character sheet. Of course you need to submit it :3 However, and this is unfortunate, if I feel that your character doesn't fit the story at all, I will be forced not to approve it ;((

3. We'll always be accepting new people.( Yayy!) The lottery is ever-lasting and you can join at any time!

4. You must follow the map! For example, you can't go from the landing deck directly to Southern Anachronox, you have to pass by the hotel and get through Northern Anachronox (=
