Introduction
Thousands of years ago men and women lived in harmony, not one without the other. But things changed when tragedy happened on the mother world. In order to save humanity, we were forced to leave the planet that was dying after millions of years, of abuse. Two gigantic ships left in search of another world that could sustain what was left of humanity. To avoid over population the men and women were separated onto the two ships. But something happened along the way and the two ships lost track of each other, totally separating men and women.
It has been many years since then and that story is all but a legend, forgotten and left in the dust of the mother planet. The women settling on a planet that they called, Letreah and the men on a planet named Truboard. In the past few centuries the two humanoid "species have began to war against each other. Both trying to claim dominance over the other.
Letreans (Women)
The Letrean's are very technically advanced species. They have a invented means of procreating, a process of combining genetic material between a chosen pair and one (called a matriarch) giving birth to a new offspring. Their weaponry is also quite astounding and years ahead of Trudorians. Letreans crowning achievement is something they like to call the Mechs. Mechs are large fighting robots that are usually controlled by two pilots. It is considered to be a great honor to be asked to pilot a Mech and one must a skilled warrior to be qualified.
As of late the war with the Trudorians have become hairy defending the planet and the Mechs against them have become the Letreans top priority. One of the top war ships called the "Athena" is at the for front of this war. The crew of the Athena are some of the best in the army willing to give their lives for their sisters.
Trudorians (Men)
The Trudorians are a desperate race, their numbers are beginning to dwindle because of the lack of genetic material. All are cloned from the genes of another and it is coming to the point where the their genes are becoming unstable. Many are being born with defects, and do not survive long after they have been evacuated for the amniotic tanks. Some of the Trudarian scientist have been desperately searching through ancient text to come up with an answer to their problems. They are also very interested in the technology of the Letreans Mechs, they have fighter ships that they use in battle but have found that the they are no match for the Letreans Mechs.
The governor of Truboard has sent their army flagship the "Asgard" to commandeer the Athena and anything they might have that might be useful to the men.
The Plot
As the RP goes you will either be a member of the crew of the Athena or of the Asgard. Something goes wrong when the Asgard attacks and a few of their men are captured, but a foe greater then both the races forces the Letreans to require the Trudorians help. This alien race know only as the Shades, does only one thing goes from planet to planet sucking in dry of all its resources and then leaving it a barren wasteland. Leaving whatever living thing that might be there to suffer and die. As time goes on the men and women begin to realize that there are indeed differences between them but also striking similarities. And that together they might have a chance against the Shades.

A happy go lucky young woman who always tries to make everyone happy. She is curious about the Trudorians and hopes to actually see one up close. I sorry I haven't posted or even been on in the past couple of days. My computer died and well my parents said their not going to get me a new one for a while. So I'm afraid I'm going to have to drop all of my RP's *sighs*. The only other computer I have access to is my brothers and he doesn't want me on it longer then a few minutes or to do school work. If one of you want to take the idea and make you own I totally understand, and I give you permission to do so.

I can't decide between Male 1 or Male 3. (since Male 2 is somewhat similar to my character XD) I like the idea of Male 3 being afraid of girls but I also think Male 1 is interesting. I just don't know how to characterize him. :O

Alrighty, that's great! I took a look at the different roles, and it came to a tossup between male #2 and #3. I'm not sure if I can play male #1, but I'm pretty sure I can do #2 accurately. I'm working on a character sheet, and will send it in as soon as I can. :)

Okay here we go, I got the guys to get their characters in order and they have been approved. So that means to even things out we only need two males. So if you guys want to look over the roles that would be great. I would really like to see someone take the Male 1 role (hint, hint, nudge, nudge). As for the other female character It is not needed that the role be taken. I made 5 roles for each sex just in case we had allot of people want to join. So if we can just even things out that would be great. So those of you who said you were willing to play male parts (that sounds so bad XP), just let me know which two of you will do it and which roles you will take. The introduction page is up to date so just take a look there.

Yeah, I do have some trouble playing a male role, but I've done it before, and I just have to take a moment to get into character. So it sounds like a plan to me! Now we just have to make sure none of the reserved parts are planning on actually joining. Other than that it looks like this'll work, and we can get the RP started!

Alright! Sounds like a plan to me. I doubt there would be much trouble if we took them permanently if no one wants to take them on. (Other than having a bunch of characters to manage.) Fingers crossed!
