East Meadows was a small town built on the flood planes. It was quiet and the people all got along nothing really significant ever happened there. The mayor a young man who called himself Sir.Blackadder was famous for getting grant money from the government to help fuel the small towns development. But many of the older towns folk said in order to get that money he had to make a deal with the devil. Though this was never confirmed because a tragedy befell the town. East Meadows was flooded after the damn broke... Nearly the whole town went underwater... But Sir.Blackadder encouraged the survivors to stay and rebuild... And like sheep without a Shepperd they followed him. The town was rebuilt... In the years to come people moved to the town and the tragedy was put behind everyone... The artificial lake added a strange charm and mystery to the town. With tragedy behind them no one complained when suddenly Sir.Blackadder announced he planned on building an insane asylum on the chunk of land in the center of the lake where the old cemetery use to be... Oddly enough not a year after it's construction were one of Blackadder's children submitted to the asylum. Everyone claimed that the sudden turn of events was rather scandalous, but still no complaints. But when people asked to visit the child the doctors said it was simply to dangerous. Soon many other children and teenagers and young adults were rounded up from all over the country and sent to East Meadows Asylum... All were said to be 'special' cases because they were genius children in some way or another. With the scandal of Sir.Blackadder and the East Meadows asylum only growing what will happen next?







So if the story and description were not a good enough hint allow me to put it bluntly. You are insane... Or well you can choose to be an insane patient or a nurse now because I don't want there to be 74 characters made for patients for the sake of this Roleplay we will focus on a small group of nurses and patients and how they un-cover the secrets behind East Meadows asylum. Love, Hate, and sub-plot are highly encouraged! Just note none of the patients have killed anyone but they may have shown violent tendency's. The characters will all be teens to 20's so the teenager ward where as nurses will be late teens to 20's you may have Non-Player characters as well. So yeah. Also please keep in mind despite being 'insane' the patients are for some reason genius in certain things whether artistic or more logical.



East Meadows: A small town that has grown over the years. It suffered through a tragic flooding which claimed nearly the entire town. Later on an asylum was built in the center of the flooded part of town where the grave yard use to be. It is a charming town despite it's gory past and is a popular pit stop.

East Meadows Asylum: Constructed a few years or so after the tragic flood that destroyed the town. It is a large building that seems to loom over everything. It is big enough that the doctors and nurses live in the asylum with the patients. Though oddly enough the doctors never or hardly ever speak to the nurses.

Asylum Facilities: In order to keep the insane occupied there are many rooms and facilities available for them all located on the south part of the building.
- An indoor garden.
- Underwater viewing center. [Stable Patients Only]
- Music room.
- Art room.
- Library.
- Kitchen. [Stable Patients Only]
- Living Room.

Asylum Doctors Offices: Located on the east side of the building nurses are forbiden to enter here though the reasons for why are actually unknown.

Asylum Bedrooms: Located on the west side of the building there are individual bedrooms for each patient where as nurses share large quarters with there beds only separated by curtains. Stable patients may have objects such as art and electronics in there room where as un-stable may only have a bed a shelf and certain objects. Nurses each have there own shelves and drawers but otherwise leave very compact.

Nurse Room: This is a room where nurses go to pick up patient charts and medication patients who are injured are brought here it is on the north side of the building.



Note: You may have noticed the mention of stable and non-stable patients this will only effect those playing as a patient. Stable patients are those considered to be docile and pose no threat to themselves or others where as un-stable are those easy to anger ect. Stable patients always have more priveledges like there allowed to leave there room whenever they so desire where as un-stable have to be let out of there room by someone else. Also note no patient or nurse will be paired! So that means there is no limit on either genders, patients or nurses but I ask you try to keep the number of patients and nurses equal!
