Introduction

Okay, So this is a Remake of a Roleplay I made a long time ago, It died then because I got ill, and so, I'm remaking it here now.

So here's the basics:

The Plot:

The year is 2017. It has been 6 Years since Emperor Tzugaki took the throne, but now, Japan has been thrown into Catastrophe.
Ever since the eruption of Mount Fuji, Some strange goings on have been occuring.

The molten Lava had soared through the air on that night, Spilling downwards with tremendous force, Scorching the earth as it thumped against it, its unbearable heat evaporating the water of the sea into steam. Cascading on, deep into the darkness of night, and continuing into the light dawn of morning.

As it cooled, the lava formed solid rocks, clumps of rubble crushed cities. Killed millions.

But something incredible had happened. The power of each element had been encased within that rubble, The pure intensity of Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Light, And Darkness, Captured, in the rocks.

mutations of these elements were formed also, Poison, Electricity, Acid, and Ice

3) If you're going away/want to leave, please let me know, and i'll write you out.

That was your most failed plan ever Dan. People don't trust you, you know that. The boy whispered to himself. Both his fists still clenched and ready to hit someone straight in the face. It was rare for Damien to feel this much anger inside himself. Whatever would be said to him, or even clearly thought about him. Dan wouldn't give one care for anything of it, so why was he angry now? The world was a harsh place to be, the boy already established that in the few years he had lived. It was just... unfair. “Dammit!” Damien yelled out, not caring whether the three people a few metres behind him would hear it or not.

But, was it really about trust? He could agree with that the first time. You don't just trust someone who barges in on your conversation like that, normally. Still, would Dan really have been a bad person, he wouldn't have just stood there and greeted them. Quite the opposite actually. Killing them and robbing their valuables. But Damien wasn't that kind of person, why would he be? Your life won't get any easier from it.

“Erase them... erase them all.”

A dark, heavy voice spoke in Dan's mind. “Huh, wha-?”, “You have the power to erase those you don't like. Do it!” Damien gasped faintly, he isn't going crazy from all this madness, is he? “I don't...” Was all the boy said before he was interrupted once more. “Come on, you got that, one, power to erase that what you don't like. Use it.” Dan reached for his forehead with his left hand, rubbing the front of his head with irritation. Shaking his head, he was going crazy. This was just all of his frustration letting itself out, in a weird, heavy voice that wants to kill? Which was odd.

“Stop!”

And that was what Damien did. He stopped, without a second thought about why. Or who. And with the voice interrupting his thoughts, the voice stopped as well. Maybe it was all Dan's imagination after all. But he wouldn't have the time to confirm that, as there was no immediate response after the 'stop!' command. Damien continued on his way, almost immediately stopped by Rin who jumped beside him from a heap of rubble. All good and well that she tried her best to keep everyone befriended, but that wasn't how the world worked. Because, all good and well. Damien was sure that he wouldn't want to see those two again. Whether that would be under good or bad circumstances, he just wouldn't want to even sense their footsteps. Just, nothing.

He barely even listened to Rin's promise of her not leaving Dan. He was to angered, and any response would have some kind of irritated tone behind it, which wouldn't help him, nor the blue-haired girl. Though, it was one positive point that the small girl trusted Damien, or at least not judge him as not trustworthy. That Fuu person on the other hand, Dan had totally misjudged her. Still, enemy would be a big word for calling someone you hate and what to punch some sense into. And hate-object barely sounded like a person at all. He just... couldn't stand the girl, blind or whatever, Fuu had no right to judge people, when she obviously isn't able to do so correctly.

So, at a more, peaceful area. Dan made a turn for a still standing alleyway, dropping himself on a half-broken bench. “You didn't have to follow me. It seemed that they trusted you. Just. Not me.” he sighed deeply, reaching for the chain of tokens on his jeans. Constantly fiddling around with the small cube that was carved into an endless maze. Ironic, that he reached for that specific token. “You either take the correct, or the wrong path. Obviously, I seemed to have ran around in circles trying to find that correct path.” He dropped his chain, letting it hang onto his jeans once more. “But I just can't seem to find the light at the end of the tunnel.” Dan sighed, letting his head hang slightly forward in depression.

Color blind or not, Rin could practically see the anger rolling off Dan in waves. She didn't know what to do, for she wasn't the best person to go to when angry. She felt sad that she couldn't think of anything that would help. When she was angry, her Aunt would always kiss her on the cheek, though she doubted that would have made Damien any happier. Though it was an option...

What am I thinking!? No, no, no! You don't go around and kiss angered men on their cheeks! She yelled to herself.

She hissed as she felt a pain in her chest, but ignored it. She though it was just from all the stress of walking around with low energy.

Cool him down. Another voice echoed in her mind, surely not her own. Her eyes widened slightly and she looked around, no one there but her and Dan. She swore she heard it, really she did. The voice had been cold and monotone. The thought of the voice gave her a brain freeze, not one that felt uncomfortable though. It felt... Nice? All she knew was that cooling Dan down seemed like the smartest idea. How though?

They turned into a surprisingly still-standing alley. The man sat on a half broken bench, while she stayed standing.

“You didn't have to follow me. It seemed that they trusted you. Just. Not me.” he sighed and picked up a chain that hung from his jeans and began to fiddle with it. “You either take the correct, or the wrong path. Obviously, I seemed to have ran around in circles trying to find that correct path.” He dropped the chain and lowered his head. “But I just can't seem to find the light at the end of the tunnel.”

Rin shook her head and leaned down in front of him.

“Your probably just lost. It's a hard time and I can't blame you.” she gave her normal lopsided smile. “I used to get lost all the time, whether it was physically or emotionally and my Aunt always told me, 'People only get lost because where they are headed is unfamiliar territory.' It always made me smile just a bit.”

“Plus, if you ever find yourself stuck in between paths, make your own. It could take a while, sure, but who's saying were stuck to the plain aspects of good and bad? Light and Dark? Black and White? For all my life, I have only felt close to gray.” Rin poked his forehead.

The girl nodded at Omi as he spoke under his breath as an acknowledgment, but didn't budge from her spot. Listening as the two approached. It seems that she had misjudged the direction of the wind when she had spoken to Omi before, however, as her softly spoken words to him had somehow reached Damien's ears.

The air hung thick with a creeping anger. The taste of anger was not something she had ever been able to explain to anyone who could see it. It was a thick, musky, suffocating flavor with heat, palpable heat.

"Wow... Impressive. There is something you don't trust about me.” Dan's voice was sharp and sarcastic, she could hear as he slowly clapped with his hands, reinforcing his sarcasm. “I get it, you don't want me here, like everyone else. Good luck with your current acquaintances, because you certainly convinced me to hate you.” A deep irritated sigh leaving the boy's mouth. “A job well done.”

Fuu visibly tensed, expression cold and stern. What was said next seemed to be directed at Rin but was also meant for her ears,

"Enjoy your company. Because I'm sure as hell not going to stick around with someone who is both blind in sight, as well as judgment.”

These words seemed to roll off of her shoulders, like nothing, and as if to make the figurative image real, Fuu rolled her shoulders, working out some of the obvious tension there. She had spent her life without sight, and this world was full of people who felt the need to call attention to her shortcomings--and in turn called attention to their own. It didn't even phase her. As she heard the boy storm off--she only felt more correct in her so-called "blind" judgment. He had done nothing to prove himself worth trust. Had only shown arrogance and a passive aggressive nature, plainly and without any attempt at masking it. He was too immature to be of any use in this disaster. Though, Fuu had always felt far older than her 19 years, and acted upon her inner age rather than her birth age. She supposed being blind had something to do with this. Having to grow up quickly to survive..

“Stop!” Rin yelled, Fuu assumed at the retreating boy. Her voice was strained, irritated. “Fuu, I thought you would at least try. You were right, I can't trust everybody!” And Rin's footfalls too retreated as she chased after the boy. Fuu sighed softly, shaking her head solemnly. What was there to "try"? Surviving was the only thing she wanted to "try". Not only to try, but to succeed. And if it meant being picky about what other survivors she associated with--so be it. Rin was too easily attached. That boy must be decently handsome for Rin to cling to him so...but that was something Fuu knew little about. Fuu heard them as they retreated, talking back and forth--but mainly tuned out any significance the words might have had. As long as they were leaving--their words no longer mattered.

You're rather chilly at such a young age... Fuu felt the wind blow softly across her neck and shoulders bitterly. Fuu furrowed her brows as she contemplated this. Perhaps she was a bit cold. But it was simpler this way. No attachments. No pain. No worry. It kept her head clear to focus on issues at hand. Wait--where had that voice come from? She tipped her head, listening intensely, but could only make out the retreating sounds of the pair, no other raspy male voice. Could it be--in her head? Bingo...for someone so smart--you're somewhat thick.. The girl ignored this last comment, hoping she wasn't entirely losing it. But voices in one's head, as far as she knew, were never a good sign. Fuu turned to "look" at Omi again, expression masking the disquiet boiling within her head,

"We should keep moving and find shelter." She said in her melodic voice, propping her metal pole like a walking stick once more. "Do you feel well enough to move now?"

Damien turned his blue eyes towards the sky. Why did he survive again? He told himself and Rin he'd survive for the sake of survival, but that wasn't helping at all. Though, maybe there was another reason he wanted to survive? But he just couldn't find the answer to that question. That. Lonesome question. If someone could just give me an answer, it'd make this crap a whole lot easier! Dan though to himself. Scolding himself in the process. Maybe he should stop being weird? Whatever it was that made him weird, and he couldn't even figure that out so that was out of the question. Whatever, perhaps some cooling down would help him think less negative.

“Your probably just lost. It's a hard time and I can't blame you.”

Maybe, maybe not. But that would mean somewhere, somehow, he took a wrong turn. Well, when didn't he take a wrong turn? According to the generic society of course. Because he couldn't see it, and he definitely wouldn't want to see and realise he took a wrong turn. But, unfamiliar territory? Ironically, Dan always found himself in unfamiliar territory. “If I am going to make my own path, I'll be sure to bring one hell of a sharp pick-axe. Because I got some digging to do...” The boy slightly backed his head away as Rin poked his forehead. She was trying to cheer him up, that was obvious. If not a little strange. “Look. Rin. Just forget about it. I tried opening myself up and hope they wouldn't just shoo me away. But they just 'labelled' me 'not trustworthy' and left it at that. End of story.”

Judgement was one thing, placing a label on someone's forehead another. And Damien couldn't be in one room with either. What was the point of it all? Making it obvious everyone differs from each other? But, he was pondering too much. He just wanted to drop it, like, right now. “Thanks, Rin.” The boy leaned forward, throwing his right arm around the girl, gently hugging her. “Let us go find ourselves a shelter. You never know when rain starts pouring down on the ground, plus, I think more clear when I have a roof above my head.” The boy released Rin from his spontaneous hug, giving her a soft smile before standing up, scanning his surroundings in search for a useful shelter.

The vertically impared girl listened as Dan spoke. She was good at that. Listening...

"Thanks, Rin." He leaned foreward, hugging her with one arm. A light blush dusted her cheeks as the appendage drapped over her. He was warm, in a bearable way of course. She enjoyed the feeling. She used to get hugs from her Aunt, but those had always been quick 'i'll-be-back-by-dinner' type of hugs. Not really comforting, not much emotion. Damien was apologetic though and she could tell from the emotion he put in it. It had been gentle and not bone-crushing, like he was trying to squeeze the life out of her. It made the girl smile.

“Let us go find ourselves a shelter. You never know when rain starts pouring down on the ground, plus, I think more clear when I have a roof above my head.” He said, standing and letting her go from the hug. The gentle smile he gave her only made her mouth widen more in her own happy smile. Looking up at him a tad (saying this would make her frown), she noticed his head was moving different angles to check for spots.

"Yeah, smart idea." she chuckled, also looking around. Rin rubbed the back of her neck in embarassment when she couldn't spot anything. "Uhm, how about you lead the way?"

- “Uhm, how about you lead the way?”

“Sure, I spotted the perfect hideout. For now, at least.” Damien led the girl to a, well, still standing house to his surprise. He didn't know in what state they'd find the inner side of the building, but the outside surprisingly looked in a perfect state, and able to protect the both of them from anything that could happen in the near, near future.

The door? Locked. Darn it, knocking did practically nothing, because, no-one answered. So, Dan assumed no-one was there. Forgive me for what I am about to do now. And with that, Damien forcefully kicked the wooden door, a loud cracking noise signalling that something had broken. Good, the only thing Damien had to do now was gently pushing the door and it would open itself. “It's not like anyone would stop me from breaking into a house, right?” The boy gave a quick glare at Rin. “Right?” He tried to get approval of his earlier deed. Though it mattered little now.

Once both of them entered the building, Dan tried his best to block the door, though it seems he had broken the lock, not the door itself. That would require something heavy. Didn't want anyone else to just barge in and take this house for themselves, right? So, Damien pushed a small drawer that was standing in the hall, and used it to block off the broken door. “There. Problem solved.”

after inspecting the building on a few flaws, Damien returned to Rin for a full report about the state of their shelter. “No real problems. Perhaps it is a tad bit small, but it'll do for now. At least won't go hungry for the time being. The fridge is filled with loads of food!” Dan smiled faintly, glad to have accomplished at least something useful today. Aside from serving as a pillow for Rin. And made his way into the living room. “Ah! Good ol' couch. You'll be serving as my bed.” Dan immediately dropped himself on the dark-blue leather couch, folding his hands behind his arms, his legs leaning on the opposite side of the couch. “Oh! Sorry, I feel at home already. Haha...” A nervous laughter leaving the boy's mouth, raising his legs so they could lean on the back of said couch, so Rin could take a seat as well, if she wanted to.

“too bad the television won't work. Or maybe it does? I doubt it... If it did, we could've checked for any news on this disaster.” Yep, Dan felt at home al right. The boy sighed, satisfied with their new shelter. “Hey Rin. Isn't it odd that no-one has send someone to this place to check for survivors? Or at the very least, investigate the cause of the eruption?” Dan looked confusingly at the girl, perhaps she knew the answer, though he doubted it...

Dan had lead her too a small standing house, that was suprisingly still in a good state. He had had knocked on the door after finding it was locked, but with no one answering he decided that kicking down the door was the right answer. The slam of the wood made her flinch a tad but other than that, she was fine. He seemed a little paranoid, asking her if it was okay that he had broken the door and went right into the house without her answer. Such an act made her laugh a litt. The small girl didn't even try to tell him that they could have broken the glass out of a window just as easily and slipped through to open the door. Oh no, it would hurt his male-pride.

When they entered, Rin took a seat on the cold ground. She watched with an amused face as he pushed a small drawer infront of the door to block it off. Who knew, there really could be zombies out there. "There. Problem solved." he sounded so sure so the girl didn't go about mentioning the windows again.
He seemed on a roll, so the color blind girl let him continue by exploring the house. A while after he was done, he came to report what he found. “No real problems. Perhaps it is a tad bit small, but it'll do for now. At least won't go hungry for the time being. The fridge is filled with loads of food!" he smiled and she joined him in said action.

She jumped up and followed him into the living room and burst out laughing as he fell onto the couch. “Ah! Good ol' couch. You'll be serving as my bed.” Dan sighed and got comfortable. The man seemed to notice Rin standing there and adjusted himself to sit up. “Oh! Sorry, I feel at home already. Haha...”
She shook her head with a smile and made her way towards him. Dropping down onto the floor in front of the couch, she looked back at him. "It's all yours. The ground is nice and cool anyways." Rin smiled and leaned back on the foot of the couch.

Getting comffy, she half listened to him ramble on about the T.V and if it were working. With a sigh though, he continued on to another topic that had been on her mind for a little while as well. “Hey Rin. Isn't it odd that no-one has send someone to this place to check for survivors? Or at the very least, investigate the cause of the eruption?"

With a puzzled expression, she scratched her head. She felt rambling coming on. "Yeah, completely odd. You would think the rest of the world would have noticed by now. Something most likely happened... Like, their rescue people were on vacation all at the same time or freak storms burst around the nation and they're too busy for us." Rin tried to explain without laughing nervously. With a small sigh of her own, the pigtail-girl finished with this statement. "Maybe the survivors here, are the only ones left."

Don't count on anyone to save you. Do it yourself. Came the cold feminine voice from before. It did no good though, for it only left her with confusion and a dull ache in both her head and chest.

Dan listened intently as Rin shared her thoughts on the whole rescue subject. Which, to the boy, sounded like a bunch of rambling. Still, he couldn't really blame her. Damien had already anticipated that the girl wouldn't know anything about it. It was funny how she came up with the idea of all rescue teams having decided to take a vacation on the exact same day. It didn't make much sense, and it probably wasn't meant as a joke. But Dan couldn't help but laugh a little about it. Right, they went on vacation and didn't take into consideration that something could happen in their absence?

“Oh, sorry. It was just... amusing. That whole vacation part. Who knows, maybe they really did. Haha!” The boy collected himself, trying not to make Rin think he was laughing at her failed attempt to provide useful information. “Still, if we would be the only ones left. That would be very, very bad.” Damien gasped, that actually sounded as if he didn't want Rin as company, even if she was to be the last girl on the planet. Which she wasn't. “Eh.. I mean. It would be bad if someone... other then you would be my companion. Eh.. Yeah... I guess.” That wasn't really helping, Damien figured at least. If only socializing would make more sense to him. Maybe it would make him less of an idiot trying to socialize.

He sighed nervously, knowing fully well his cheeks were turning slightly red. “All I'm saying is... Well. You are great company. Even if I know very little about you, and you know even less about me.” The boy pulled his headphones over his head, covering up his ears. Not that it would help anything to hide his embarrassment for failing at socializing. But it gave him the illusion that it did. “But. I'm. Rambling. ...I guess...” Dan threw his feet on the couch, turning his blue eyes up at the ceiling. He felt kind of stupid, after all, his words didn't really make any sense. So, he'd be better off trying to project his thoughts on the ceiling. Maybe it would help give himself a few answers. Or questions.

Rin listened as he also rambled on. Things about them being the only survivors, other than Fuu and the two other guys with her. Also, she listened as he stumbled for words when he thought she could possibly be offended. The truth was, she wouldn't even want herself as company. She knew she had no use other than trying to make people happy, even then she failed.

“All I'm saying is... Well. You are great company. Even if I know very little about you, and you know even less about me.” he finished, kicking his feet back to normal position and setting his headphones over his ears.

"Heh, nice try." she laughed at his horrible 'cover-it-up-before-she-punches-me' skills, though he probably couldn't hear her with his headphones. Rin was just happy he hadn't made any short jokes. "Eh, I think I'm going to catch some sleep, I feel exausted." the small female sighed and leaned her head back on something, she assumed Damien's leg, and shut her eyes. Soon enough she was sleeping and pretty much dead to the world.

In her dream, something she rarely had, Rin stood in a place covered with snow, large icicles raising from the ground. It was beautiful, she had to admit, even if it was all greyscale. Looking around, she couldn't recognize the place. No buildings or greenary, only the snow, ice and herself. She tred through the snow curiosly, coming closer to one of the big pieces of frozen water and laid her hand upon it.

Don't be weak, was the harshly cold voice that bit at her. It had come from the large crystal, echoing around the field. Be strong, be cold. Emotion is for the weak.

Looking into the ice, Rin's eyes widened. There, staring back at her was herself... But not. She looked the same, with high pigtails and bangs. The same dress was on her body. It wasn't her though. This girl... Or woman should she say, was like a taller her, with no emotion showing on her face or in her eyes. The woman sported a frown and narrowed wyws, unlike the shoked expression Rin felt on her own face. Standing tall, the non-Rin glared back.

"Who are...?" she left the question hanging.

That is none of your concern. For all you should know, I am a weapon at your will. Some would say we are one, but I just think of it as you using my powers. The mouth of her reflection moved, making Rin stagger back.

"I-I don't understand... I mean what are you?" Rin reached up to her head as it began to throb.

It seemed that the reflection would have no more talking. Leave now, I am sure the boy is waiting. She said and everything went blurry.

Rin sat up with a gasp, back in the little shelter Dan found. She didn't know how long she had been out, maybe hours, but one thing was for sure: She had a deadly headche and she would pistol whip anyone who even came close to screaming in her ears.

Well, lecturing or not. Or whatever it was Rin was trying to tell Dan. He wasn't listening to a word anyway, not intentionally of course. But, aside from his music blasting loudly through the headphones on his head. Damien had managed to find some time to rest, again. The lazy bum. It wasn't like his dreams were any more adventurous compared to his generic life. Dan had fallen asleep, and didn't even notice Rin had done so as well. Not that he would've noticed while awake.

“Oi,”

A voice called, Dan shrugging it off as he turned himself on his side. Though the voice wouldn't have it, and the lazy boy was up and running when a tough, quick bump on his back woke him up. “I'm awake!!” Dan yelled in a low voice. Wait... he thought Rin had woken him, but she didn't. Unless she had dragged the boy over to some weird, unknown island. And, had a gender change. If not, then odds were, it wasn't Rin, but someone else.

“Oi, mate. Don't ya be sleepin' while I'm tryin' to talk to ya!” The figure making his or her way over to Damien. Though still remaining within the shadow of the large palm trees. Since when did Damien end up in a jungle? Or.. island, thing...?
”I have to stop dreaming these weird dreams...” He thought out loud? Well, Dan could clearly hear what he was thinking. Strange...

“Are ya done? Got somethin' to tell ya.” The voice said, it was in a hurry. “Spit it, because I want to wake up.” Though, before answering, the voice let out a loud, echoing laughter. “Amusing, amusing. Anyway, got some news for ya!” In the meantime, Damien had risen from his awkward position. Trying his best to get a better vision of the figure in the shadows without alerting the voice. Though the voice didn't really seem to be bothered by Dan's actions, and carried on without delay.

“Why didn't ya listen to me earlier, mate? Ya got me abilities, but don't wish to use them? Afraid?” The figure tapped its feet loudly. Awaiting the boy's answer. Dan just shrugged, not entirely sure what this was about. “Afraid of what? And... do I know you?” The shadowy figure just sighed, deeply. “Why did I have t'be stuck with you? Ne'er mind. I'm just telling ya to use me abilities, mate. Try and think 'bout it, maybe you'll like them.” And with that, the voice faded with one last comment. “After all, me abilities can erase that, ya don't like.”

For a moment there, Dan was even more confused then he usually was. And not in a good way. Though, before he could even chase the figure disappearing into the jungle, a soft bump woke him up. Why did it always have to be Rin who woke him up? Or at least prevent the boy from sleeping at all. Still, Dan didn't quite get it was the girl who stood up, and as soon as his eyes had opened... “I'm awake!” Though that fear of a stranger waking him, soon disappeared. “Oh, heh. Sorry Rin. Thought you were someone else. Haha!” The boy removed his headphones, letting them rest on his neck once more.

“I'm awake!” She heard the yell from behind her.

Rin was rubbing her temples, trying not to reach back and smack the male she knew was Dan. Biting, no, practically chewing on her lip, the girl held back the urge to jump up and slam something on the ground in frusteration. Who had that girl been? What did she mean, powers? Could it have something to do with the fact that whenever she touched water, it turned out to be a slushy? It would explain a lot.

“Oh, heh. Sorry Rin. Thought you were someone else. Haha!” Damien laughed, making her turn her head towards him. She watched as he slipped off his headphones.

"It's fine." she sighed. He had done nothing wrong, she couldn't blame him for her pounding mind. "Good morning I guess, I really have no clue what time it is anyways."

Standing up straight, she walked over to the enterance for the living room and turned back. "I have a head ache, I'm going to go see what sorts of medicine they have here."

Walking into the kitchen, she coughed at the smell of dust that had coated the air after the erruption. The pig-tailed girl looked through the cupboards, finding things like plates, bowls and cups. She stopped at one of the bigger ones, opening it up to find a small bucket of medicines and band-aids. Rin moved around some things until she found a small bottle and pulled it out. Head ache medicine, in pill form.

She had always hated swallowing pills, for the dry feeling it caused her to feel after. The girl just sighed and plucked out the correct amount of pills and walked over to the refrigerator. Pulling that open, she grabbed a water bottle that was inside and frowned as the plastic frosted over and made the liquid a slush. Growling, she took the medicine and frowned down at the frozen bottle.

"Hey, Dan! Want anything? There's a ton of fruit and vegetables! I can't really cook but I could try and whip something up." she called behind her and set the water on the counter, which instantly when back to its normal clear state.

"Damn, why am I so screwed up?" she muttered under her breath, awaiting for Dan's reply.

“At least we know it is day. Unless the sun thinks it is a moon...” Dan spoke with a bit of a nervosity. He totally expected some kind of head whacking, not sure why though. Maybe he had grown accustomed to it? Even then, it didn't make much sense to him as to why he was expecting it. Accustomed to it or not. Perhaps it was because Rin had a headache? She did say she had one, and was looking for medicine against it. I don't mind what she does, as long as she doesn't give me a headache...

The boy jumped from the couch, slowly walking towards one of the windows. Not that there was much sightseeing to do. “Erase that, what I don't like, huh? He sounded like he knew me. Somehow... odd.” Damien glared at his left hand, abilities...? He had no apparent clue as to what the voice meant by that. The voice told him it were his abilities, and that Dan should use them whenever he feels the need to... erase something? What am I thinking? It was a pointless dream. There is no such thing as abilities or voices. Unless I'm crazy. Which I am not...! Luckily, Dan's thoughts were broken by a shout from Rin. Asking of he wanted something to eat.

The boy scratched the back of his head, walking towards the entrance of the kitchen. “I'm fine with anything. I could help, if you want...?” Damien walked into the kitchen, he wasn't much of a chef either. But, for everything was a first time, right? “You okay? Perhaps you should rest some more, headaches are quite nasty, after all.” Dan stood next to Rin, giving the girl a soft smile as he looked around for anything to cook with.

Fuu nodded quietly. Omi stood there staring at the pair slowly feeling chills creep along his skin. Teasing his skin. Any more of this and Omi would be actually uncomforatable. Still he held his ground as the presence in his mind cringed ever so slightly. What could make a figment of Omi's imagination cringe? This is what confused him. The male seemed to anger quickly, directing his insults towards Fuu entirely. Omi winced as he did so. He had half a mind to ask him what his problem was, but soon the boy left along with the young woman. He shook his head lightly. Omi stood on his feet as the silence crept in. It didn't make him feel better. He had taken Fuu's advice into account but it just seemed strange that one would get so angry. Omi hadn't gotten angry when Fuu had raised a pole against him. Far from it, he actually felt as if he should be the one to help her. Still he shook the these thoughts from his mind. People weren't thinking clearly. It was a disaster situation. Most people were still in shock. Omi included.

"We should keep moving and find shelter." She said in her melodic voice, propping her metal pole like a walking stick once more. "Do you feel well enough to move now?"

Omi silently nodded his head, and looked back to Sai. Signaling him it was ok to follow. From there he looked back to Fuu. He met her 'gaze' and spoke softly. "Things happen for a reason. Maybe its a good thing they didn't come with us." Omi spoke softly. The presence agreed. He had the feeling that he wouldn't be very relaxed around the young girl with the other group. He wasn't getting very good vibes from the man, but he still reserved judgement for now. Like Omi said before. People were just trying to survive rather than hamper someone else's survival.

"I haven't found any safe buildings really. I wouldn't know where to look either. This isn't the city I know anymore." Omi took a step forward and looked ahead.

"I'll be ok if we walk for a while." Omi reassured her.

It seemed as if Kouta was standing in the same spot for hours. She watched what went on at the beach, and as three new people came besides the two men she had seen before hand. There seemed to be a slight altercation and two of them left again, a boy and a girl. Silently, she followed them. They had stopped in an alley, and Kouta hid behind the building. They discussed on where to go next, and after a few minutes, they got up and started going to a place the boy had seen. Again, Kouta followed them. They both seemed to be...different. Maybe they would accept her with open arms...and open minds.

She felt a familiar warmth in her pocket. It pulsed as she kept hidden within the dark shadows of the buildings, following the two still. They had broken into a house by now, and Kouta waited. Once they were inside and the girl heard no more noise, she peeked in the window. Both were asleep on the couch. Sighing, she sat down, out of sight, and waited for one of them to wake the other. Which surprisingly happened very quickly. When they woke up and started to cook, Kouta knocked at the door, opening it quietly and slowly poking her head in.

"E-excuse m-m-me..." she said softly, trying not to scare them. "I saw you two at the beach and I followed you...My name is Kouta." She braced for yelling, screaming, and throwing of things to get her out. Her ears drooped slightly at the thought of being out on her own again.

Rin looked behind her, only to see Damien walking into the kitchen.

“I'm fine with anything. I could help, if you want...?” he asked. He looked at her and probably saw how irritated she looked and smiled at her softly. “You okay? Perhaps you should rest some more, headaches are quite nasty, after all.”

“Heh heh, It's fine, really. I took medicine so it should be done soon. Hopefully.” she shook her head and gave him a smile of her own. Even if her head was killing her, she didn't want to burden him by whining. As much as she believed he didn't care that she was around, she needed to pull her own weight. That meant no complaining!

“Hm, now what to do...” Rin tapped her chin in thought. “Well, things would be much easier if the people that lived here had a portable propane stove or a camp stove, ne?”

She went to searching the bottom cupboards, finding serving bowls and such. She swore that if they didn't have one, she would cry on the inside. Cold food just sounded weird after last nights ice-land dream. Opening the second last one, her eyes gleamed. “Found one!”

Standing, she set the little stove on the counter. Looking over at Dan, she cocked her head to the side. “So, what do you feel like having?”

"E-excuse m-m-me..." a voice sounded behind her and she jumped, unconsciously stepping behind Dan. Infront of her was a girl, with grey hair and... Fox ears and tail? A survivor but...

"Dan, we have company." she looked at the male and then smiled at the girl. "My name is Rin, it's nice to meet you."

Dan just shrugged, fine with him then. He had learned quickly that one shouldn't try and pull Rin away from something. As long as it didn't kill her. So long as she knows not to push herself. Crisis or not, no-one get better by stressing out, over the simplest of things. Damien let Rin have her little search for bowls, stoves and whatnot. When the girl had returned to the kitchen, she once more asked what Dan felt like eating. In all honesty? He couldn't care less, even stoved cardboard was something the boy would eat. As long as it had some kind of taste...

“You just said something about fruit. Erm... fruit salad, maybe...?” Damien shrugged excessively, he wasn't the one for advice. Still, whatever would satisfy Rin. Dan just wondered if she wasn't going crazy from this sudden urge to do-everything-herself business. Damien would've tried and talk to her, persuading the girl into taking it easy for one, bloody, second. But, someone had managed to sneak into the house.

Dan couldn't help but chuckle faintly at Rin jumping, surprised by the nervous voice. Why the blue-haired girl acted like a child, was beyond him. “Company? Where? I think you are seeing things, Rin. You seem tired, a quick nap can take care of that.” Damien said, in a teasing, sarcastic tone. Obviously, he too, had noticed the... fox. Girl. Thing? And was startled by it. Though did not show it as openly. “Eh? Halloween is months away. Or... did I really space out that long?” Damien joked some more, though all it did was hide his confusion. “Eh... hi? … I guess?”

Kouta came more into view. "Halloween? What are you talking about? You think I'm dressed up? I assure you, I'm perfectly real..." She moved her ears back up and swished her tail to wrap around her legs. She shut the door behind her, blushing slightly as she thought she was intruding. The stone pulsed faster, just as her heart was. She got so nervous around humans...Brushing some red hair out of her face, she quietly approached the pair. "I'm sorry that I just barged in, but I can't stay out there alone. It's too dangerous..." Her voice was quiet and meek. "So...I guess it's sudden, but I'd like to stick with you two for a while, if that's okay..." Kouta glanced down at her feet.

"I'm not that much trouble, if that's what you're thinking about. I just have a bounty over my head..." Kouta closed her eyes, still expecting them to throw her out. Who wants a hybrid animal type thing to be with them? Especially when they always have someone hunting them?

Fuu heard a small movement that she assumed was Omi nodding his head in agreement. He shifted slightly, making another movement, this one she wasn't so sure about, but guessed maybe the other one called, Sai, was nearby and Omi was waving him forward with them.

"Things happen for a reason. Maybe its a good thing they didn't come with us." Omi spoke softly. Fuu nodded in agreement. She had no hard feelings about the pair leaving. In fact, there was a rather impressive sense of relief in their wake. It wasn't "maybe" a good thing. It was definitely. She wanted nothing to do with anyone with a temper like that. And as for Rin--she felt somewhat badly for the girl--but it had been her own decision. Foolish though it may be. She listened carefully as the boy continued,

"I haven't found any safe buildings really. I wouldn't know where to look either. This isn't the city I know anymore." Boy, he wasn't the only one. She hated the chaos she found all around. It made her feel...inadequate. She heard him take a step forward, clear to hear ears on his sore leg, as if testing it. "I'll be ok if we walk for a while." Omi reassured her. Fuu nodded again, and began to pick forward with her metal pole. This is where she knew it would become difficult to hide her handicap. And she didn't like it. She furrowed her brows, frowning as she began to make her way ahead. She listened for Omi and Sai's movements to judge how she should travel and based her movement on them.

"As for buildings--I'd say we should avoid them entirely if we can. If there's any aftershocks even buildings that seem safe probably won't be." She said sensibly. She had often listened to television programs about surviving natural disasters--and that had always seemed to come up as important information. She was glad she managed to retain it. "Best to stay away from anything too tall, as well.." she mused, looking thoughtful. "Might be safer to see if you can find high ground without man-made structures and work from there.." Fuu furrowed her brows again, "looking" to Omi, "Can you think of any place around like that?" She hated to admit it--so aloud she wouldn't--but she felt sort of...fuzzy. She probably had hit her head when her apartment collapsed. And hard. She felt more disoriented than she knew she should...even for a blind girl.

"So...I guess it's sudden, but I'd like to stick with you two for a while, if that's okay..." The girl looked sort of nervous, but also sad and worried. "I'm not that much trouble, if that's what you're thinking about. I just have a bounty over my head..."

Rin starred at her, blinking a few times. She then launched herself at the taller girl, hugging her and standing on her tippy-toes to rub cheeks with the girl. "She's so cute Dan, can we keep her?" Rin joked.

She sort of understood what it felt like to be alone. Having had been picked on when she was young and having no friends except for her own Aunt. Of course she would let the girl in with open arms. What would it hurt if another girl joined the already odd duo? Female company was probably good for her, though Dan would most likely feel a little left out. She was a survivor for kami's sake! Backing off the girl she smiled. "I've always thought foxes were cute!" Even if this fox was in human form, and was taller than her.

Hey, she had height issues! No blaming her!

Real, huh? Who the hell would ever want real fox ears? But, who was Dan to judge something that was both, out of his pool of understanding, as well as out of the ordinary. Rin didn't seem to have much trouble deciding though. It was clear she didn't mind the fox girl, who had introduced herself as Kouta, crash in on their 'temporary' home. In all honesty, strange, equals good. At least in Damien's book. “That's all good, thinking she's cute and all. But there is something I don't trust about her...” The obvious sarcastic tone revealed that Dan was just joking around. Hey, all that anger and stress had to go somewhere, didn't it? Though, he was afraid Rin would just be angry about him, repeating what the blind girl had said about the boy.

“I don't see how one person makes a difference. Plus, the more, the merrier. Right?” Dan just shrugged excessively, swapping his vision between the fox girl, and Rin. Hmm, it seemed he would be the odd one out. Gender-wise at least. It would take something to get used to, for the moment. “Well, make yourself at home, take a seat. Eh... not the couch please, I already called dibs on it.”

(I'm going to explode. That is adorable. Oh my God.)

Kouta was not expecting Rin to jump on her. She almost lost her balance, but managed to stay up. "Ahh...Hi..." Rin was joking to Dan, asking him if they could "keep" her. But that was okay on her part, if she were human she would have said the same thing. Kouta blushed as Rin said she always thought foxes were cute. "Thanks...I suppose?" She glanced over at Dan, and she thought she saw a flash of confusion in his eyes, but it quickly went away. Rin backed off a bit, and Kouta smiled back at her.

Dan was being sarcastic as he said he didn't trust her, but it didn't stop from Kouta's face from falling slightly. It hurt her slightly. "You seem...confused, slightly. Do you need me to...explain...my genetics?" It wasn't like her to directly ask a question to someone like that, but Dan was a different story. A lot of people didn't know about her race, so she was used to it...but....

"As for buildings--I'd say we should avoid them entirely if we can. If there's any aftershocks even buildings that seem safe probably won't be." She said sensibly.

"Agreed." Omi spoke shortly after she spoke. She appeared to be getting along well enough. Omi was afraid he'd slow her down, not in vice versa. He calmly navigated around piles of concrete. The only place he knew of that could give them a vantage was his old apartment complex. That was in the heart of the city, probably hit the worst by the looks of things. What kept bothering him was that no one had come for them yet. Surely this would've gotten out by now. People had working cellphones. Though Omi didn't have his on him he was sure someone got a message out.

Think bigger Omi. See the whole picture. The voice whispered.

Always so cryptic. He continued to walk feeling slightly foolish at the vantage that occured to him. "We could always go to the industrial area, warehouses are sturdy enough. Plus we might get a good vantage." Omi's only issue with that idea was that there was no food or water in an industrial area. Unless if they struck gold on a food packing plant. Omi couldn't even remember if there were any in the vacinity. He shook his head and thought back to the words that had been itching at the back of his mind.

Think bigger?

Omi frowned quite suddenly at the horrible thought that had just occured to him. He must be going insane. The theory brewing in his head was mad. What if we weren't the only people that got hit? Omi had asked himself the question that had been lingering in the air for quite sometime. The eruption couldn't have affected the whole world. What if the event they were experiencing was the tail and of a catestrophic chain reaction? The thought was morbid, he dismissed it to the amusment of the presence.

"Then again a collapsing warehouse wouldn't be too much fun to be around." Omi spoke from both optimistic and pessimistic perspectives.

“Well, make yourself at home, take a seat. Eh... not the couch please, I already called dibs on it.” Rin tried not to laugh. Of course, it was his and his alone.

"You seem...confused, slightly. Do you need me to...explain...my genetics?" Kouta asked, looking slightly hurt. Rin saw this and patted her shoulder. She was completely fine with it, having read about animal-human hybrids before, but for Damiens sake... It would probably be smart.

"It would most likely be smart to know this key feature if you will be joining the Amazing Duo we have here." Rin smiled. "And while you do that, I'll get started on the fruit salad."

She went over and grabbed a bowl, one of the bigger and less chipped ones, and set it on the counter. She proceeded to the fridge where she grabbed some of each fruit which ended up being stawberries, kiwis, bananas, oranges and a few other odd fruits. It was best to use them sooner, for the electricity was out and things would rot away soon.

Setting the ingredients on the counter, she grabbed a cutting board she had spotted earlier and found a knife.

"Hm, Dan... While she explains, could you come over here and make sure I don't cut myself? I mean, I may be colorblind but I'm sure the color of my blood is not pretty." she laughed, trying to let the atmosphere lighten. After all, if the 'Amazing Duo' were to become the 'Awesome Trio', they would have to be on friendly terms with Kouta.

Confused? Yes, but not about this fox girl's... genetics? Everything was fine with him at this moment, she could explain all she wanted to explain. Though, Dan couldn't really seem to find the use of such information. But, what choice did he have? Rin already told the girl to explain her genetics, Dan probably just had to listen, whether he wanted to or not. “I don't see how it would make a difference, but. Go ahead and explain.” He tapped on his left ear with his hand. Signalling he would be 'all ears', so to speak.

- “Hm, Dan... While she explains, could you come over here and make sure I don't cut myself? I mean, I may be colorblind but I'm sure the color of my blood is not pretty.”

Damien nodded, walking back into the kitchen to see Rin had managed to prepare for cooking. “Guardian Dan, at your service.” He gave Rin a two fingered salute, walkig over to the counter as he joked some more. “I doubt it, maybe it'll turn out to be that your blood is... pretty?” The boy said jokingly, standing beside the girl, as she began preparing the meal, or.. snack. Or... whatever. Wait. Why did I say that again? Ah yes, a joke... I. Think?

"We could always go to the industrial area, warehouses are sturdy enough. Plus we might get a good vantage." Fuu's brow crinkled as she attempted to process his suggestion. Industrial area? She wasn't sure she had ever been in one--no reason to have been. But she was fairly certain he was right about the buildings there being intact. After all--they were industrial. If they couldn't live up to their name--then what would? She nodded her assent quietly.

She carefully inched around a rather solid sounding obstacle that her pole came in contact with with a hard clink. She was sure she looked rather awkward as she crab-walked around the thing, feeling it with her hands to try and judge when she was around it. It was rough to her touch, like slabs of overturned concrete. Parts of metal stuck out of it at even intervals. Part of a building once, she guessed as she made her way around it.

She paused, "looking" at Omi over her shoulder. She could sense his sudden uneasiness hovering in the air as unspoken worries. How she felt the moods of those around her, again, was hard to explain to people who could easily see what they looked like. Unease or nervousness felt generally the same in the air. A prickling sensation on the back of her neck, and a bitter sweet taste, like sweat, tended to strike her senses. The tingling would often run along behind her ears as well. She waited for him to speak again,

"Then again a collapsing warehouse wouldn't be too much fun to be around." Omi spoke from both optimistic and pessimistic perspectives. But this didn't seem to be the only cause of his uneasiness. What was it? Was it something around her that she couldn't see? Bodies piled up perhaps? But she hadn't come across the tell-tale squishing she had found meant bodies. Nor the metallic tang of blood in the air. Whatever it was that was bothering the man, he didn't say. And Fuu was never one to pry. If he had worries he wished to share--he would. Though, she had to admit, she was curious as to what sort of thoughts might be rolling around in Omi's head to make him nervous. Thus far, and she knew it wasn't very long, he seemed a fairly level-headed person. Fuu thought about what he had said, and the image of a building heavily collapsing in around them came to her mind. Not a pleasant thought at all.

"Yes, I suppose that would definitely be a problem." She agreed, looking thoughtful.

"Problem? That's an understatement. Even I may not be able to keep us alive for long if that happens... The raspy voice piped up suddenly. Fuu froze, listening to it. Well, I suppose you have a better idea? She thought back at it. "Yesssss... It hissed in her mind, a sound like the wind kicking dry leaves across concrete. She felt the wind come from behind her then, blowing her shawl around her legs, and her ponytails forward gently. As a matter of fact, I do know of a place...but you will have to trust me. And that seems difficult for you..can you do it? Fuu stiffened, but made it look like she was just thinking as best as she could. Her head was throbbing painfully, leaving little room for any actual thinking. She just wanted to curl up in a ball somewhere and sleep...but even she knew better than to lie out in the open..The voice seemed to be waiting. Fuu felt absurd. Trust a voice in her head? Was that hissing, whispery voice her inner conscience--or maybe she had developed some sort of multi-personality? Either thought wasn't exactly reassuring. But--what other options did she have? Fine. Lead the way then. She thought at the voice. Fuu sensed a pleased feeling from the voice in the form of a chuckle, and the wind behind her seemed to pick up, pushing her forward. She sensed this was its way of communicating..and crazy as she felt, allowed herself to be guided in this way. "I think I know of a better place--if it's still there..." Fuu told Omi hesitantly as she began to follow the insistent wind. "Follow me." She said, trying to sound more confident than she felt.

As she picked her way onward, she began to wonder if the other boy, Sai, was very shy. She had yet to hear him speak, and could only make out the sound of his following footsteps behind Omi. They sounded like sure-enough footing, though a bit dragging as if he too was wounded. He probably was. Maybe he was in shock of some sort. Either way--it unnerved her. She couldn't judge him properly without being able to speak to him at all. But, Omi was here. And he seemed a good enough sort. She hoped she could trust his judgment as they traveled ahead, more blindly than even she was used to.

Re: [OOC] Elemental Allegiance: Shadows and Whispers

Hi there!

Just passing by, trying to figure out if someone is still lurking this role play. *shrugs excessively*

So, to the topic at hand. Viva hasn't been on-line for one whole month now, and I am now at that point where I completely doubt this role play is going to move ever again. I'm not blaming anyone, Viva is probably just too busy with real life stuff. (Which is more important then a stupid internet life.) But I am calling it quits, here and now. It was fun while it lasted, and perhaps I'll have the chance to RP or chat with one of you.

Until then, I'll say my goodbyes.

Cheers,

Archlkan

Mhmm, smart idea. I hope he's not sick or something :S

Anyways, HAPPY HALLOWEEN <33

Re: [OOC] Elemental Allegiance: Shadows and Whispers

Yeah...I refuse to post again until we hear from Viva...

Re: [OOC] Elemental Allegiance: Shadows and Whispers

To be honest, I kind of agree. There isn't much we can do when there is no GM. Okay, that's a lie. But, there is no story. And well, a world without a story is kind of, boring. Yes.

Re: [OOC] Elemental Allegiance: Shadows and Whispers

I posted a while ago and I am awaiting anything more to happen...but without Viva and the others...this has kind of become...boring...-.-

Re: [OOC] Elemental Allegiance: Shadows and Whispers

:O Waffles!? Damn, I guess I missed out. Anyways, posted.

Re: [OOC] Elemental Allegiance: Shadows and Whispers

Punishment? So, you don't want your all-you-can-eat; Waffles punishment?

Shame really. Well, nothing we can do 'bout it, punishment has been cancelled.

Oh, and I posted.

Re: [OOC] Elemental Allegiance: Shadows and Whispers

Okay, I'm sorry x100 because I didn't post in the last two days. I've been busy D: But I posted now? Is the punishment off a little?

Re: [OOC] Elemental Allegiance: Shadows and Whispers

Uh, I dunno. Something probably happened, or Viva has a busy life? You never know...

But, until all that is answered, I posted. lol

Re: [OOC] Elemental Allegiance: Shadows and Whispers

sheesh, you guys are flooding the place. ^.^; It's actually kinda depressing that no one has been posting other than you two, myself and Guardian. (Sometimes Ka-chan too) IDK where Viva went. Im starting to worry...T.T Why does this always happen with this rp?

Re: [OOC] Elemental Allegiance: Shadows and Whispers

I am totally digging the Halloween theme. Sorry i've been gone for a few. It's been a rough couple of days, and I fret there are more soon to come. In the meanwhile, I'll probably make a short post.
