Alexander had spent the majority of his run to the yeti thinking of how to make the convoluted plan of Connor's work to their advantage. As crazy as the idea was, Alexander truly wished to make it work for them. It would be a true test of their control of their powers.

Unfortunately, upon arriving, he saw that most of the group did not share this sentiment, and went on with a full out barrage of attacks. The yeti was pissed now. It retaliated as it could, but the attacks coming from the different directions kept the Yeti in a daze. It didn't last though. In a lull of combat, the Yeti focused in on Alexander. It narrowed its eyes, and dropped into a full sprint towards him.

Alexander prepared himself. The size of the Yeti and the speed at which it was coming at him meant that Alexander needed all his magic power at his disposal in order to stop it. Alexander closed his eyes and cleared his mind. The Archive magic was dispersed. This always left Alexander with a strange feeling. He felt connected to his guild mates constantly. He sometimes caught their thoughts or even their dreams while they were sleeping. Not feeling their presence against his was unsettling after the all the time he spent with the Archive up.

He then placed the tips of his index and middle fingers of both hands against his temples, and focused in on the memories of the magics he wished to pull from his mind. Two memories he considered the most important. The first magic he ever memorized, and the magic that was most dear to him. Ice and Earth. Pulling one magic was exhilarating, in the best and worst possible way. He felt as if the power of the universe was his to control, only limited by his experience and imagination. Yet he felt frightened of the horrible memories he had to momentarily relive. Pulling two at once only intensified the experience.

He managed to ready himself, and opened his eyes, his determination clear. He placed his hands firmly together, and a blast of earth appeared above the yeti and attempted to stop him. It dazed the yeti, but it kept strong in its charge. Alexander then placed his hands in front of him, channeling the Ice Make magic. Chains of ice began springing from the ground, latching around the yeti in multiple places. The first few broke easily, but his progress eventually slowed as Alexander continual made more. He got close, far too close for Alexander's comfort, but it fell to its stomach right in front of Alexander. He clasped his hands once more, launching Ice chains and pillars of Earth over the Yeti, holding it to the ground.

The yeti was adamant though, and began breaking through Alexanders restraints quickly. Alexander concentrated, constantly placing new restraints to replace the old ones, but it slowly made it's way back to its feet, it's strength and anger keeping it from giving in.

"Guys, I need you to do something with this!"

Five things motivated Briar the most in life; Food, women, alcohol, a chance to sleep, and the resounding sound of his heavy brass knuckles slamming into something, as they were currently doing to the yeti.

"Briar, no matter what happens keep that yeti in that circle!"

And so he did...

In a feat of athleticism and dexterity, as well as a healthy dose of strength, Briar unleashed one powerful strike after another, matching the yeti step for step. For every inch the yeti tried to press forward, Briar would slam a heavy strike into an exposed area, forcing it to address the blow or stay open to injury. Every time it turned to do so, Briar would use his grapple to whip himself to safety or pull himself in for another slam. Using this hit-and-run tactic, he kept himself relatively safe, but right up in the yeti's face, enough to keep it firmly placed inside Max's circle.

Catching sight of Liliana, Briar picked up the pace yet again, moving faster and hitting harder as he not only assaulted the yeti, but danced around the noxious poison the woman was now assaulting the beast with. As Alexander joined the fray, Briar cartwheeled out of the way of the earthen blast to launch himself onto the hairy back of the yeti, and climbed as high up as he could as the monstrosity began slowing due to the icy constraints working against him. Dangling over the gruesome face, Briar reared took a swig of his flask before expelling the burning liquid into the yeti's eyes. Feeling the shudder run through the yeti, Briar seized the moment.

"Guys, I need you to do something with this!"

"You got it!" Anchoring his grapple into the thick fur, Briar dove from the beast and used the chains as a slingshot to launch himself skyward. Dissipating the chains, a three-tiered magic circle appeared above Briar as he continued upward. Reversing the layers as quickly as he could, his left arm began glowing with the familiar light of his shatter spell as he assaulted his own magic circles. The rebound and shatter spells collided and pushed against one another for a moment before exploding in a violent burst. His left arm instantly went numb as a quick jolt of pain stabbed at his shoulder. The blast, however, rocketed Briar straight down with incredible speed. His right arm lit up as a wicked grin split his mouth.

"Last call asshat!" He shouted as his fist crashed into the giant form of the yeti, a resounding smash echoing around as he felt even the earth give a bit under the yeti.

River watched from a distance, deciding not to interfere until it was absolutely necessary. She saw Alexander create the ice chains to hold the yeti before Briar started plummeting towards it. It was then that River realized there were still people underneath the yeti, she had seen Liliana come out but as far as she knew Connor was still underneath the yeti. She quickly directed her eagle to fly underneath the yeti, she spotted Connor and pulled him up onto the eagle and managed to make it out just before Briar's attack hit.
