Introduction
Just because these kids are smart doesn’t mean they have no life. There are all sorts of people here, anything from punks to the classic nerd. Sure these have some of the world’s hightest IQs, but will their intelligence get them though love, lust, heartbreak, drugs, friendships and just trying to live their life to the fullest while they can? They spend their time breaking rules and finding a way of not getting in trouble.
Aside from just trying to have a life, they have to focus on the academics. Everything is a competition. Students from all around the globe come to achieve their dream. Law, art, music, architecture; you name it and the best program for it is here at Gideon Academy.
But they can’t do it if they don’t have the grades. No student can participate in any program if they have anything under a B-. For most, the grade requirement is easy to keep up with, for others, there are distractions that will keep them from their goals. How will these teenagers make it?

Girls are on the top floor and boys on the bottom floor. Common room is on the bottom floor.
Barton
This dormitory was named for advertising great and Congressman, Bruce Barton, for his “outstanding services to America and to Gidon Academy.” Bruce Barton embarked on an unrelenting letter-writing campaign on behalf of the Academy. This campaign provided a generous base to Deerfield Academy’s foundation, through his famous “Deerfield Letters”, and funded the construction of 14 of the Academy’s buildings. The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 17 authors
Setting
0.00 INK
Sage saw that it was getting about the time to go to his meeting. "Well Maci, Hopefully we'll run into eachother again this year. I've got to get to my soccer meeting." He said while standng up. He then turned and headed towards the locker room for the sports teams. Sage wasn't sure what this meeting was about, but he knew that it was mandatory if he wanted to be on the team this year.
Setting
0.00 INK
"Hello?" He called out to the empty room, looking around and then over his shoulder. People were walking through the halls, no one seemed to notice him walking into a random room. He threw his suitcase onto the empty bed with a huff and then turned to study the other side. The room looked like it did in the brochures and like most college dorms, possibly a bit bigger though. He looked down at the piece of paper the admittance office gave him with his room number, roommate name and building.
A man who worked for the school came in shortly after pushing the small cart with the three other suitcases Egan had stuffed full of books. "Oh thanks, right there is good." He pointed to the foot of his bed. The guy dumped the bags and walked out, clearly a bit annoyed with the weight of the bags. Egan quickly dragged the bags onto the bed and opened them up, running his fingers over the spines and smiling.
It took him a of couple hours, but he finally unpacked and set up his side. He didn't put up any posters, mostly because the ones he would have put up would most likely get him a few odd looks. He did however, fill all of his bookshelves as well as lined the windowsill with books and part of the floor on his side. He filled his closet with his clothes and hid his yoga mat under his bed. Finally, he finished making his bed. He straightened and fixed his tie. Now he needed to explore the campus. The first place he'd have to find was the library. He had read about it in the brochure and had gotten so excited he nearly hyperventilated.
He grabbed one of the current books he was reading, "Metamorphoses" by Ovid in Latin, and tucked it safely under his arm. Egan put his shoes on and stepped out into the hallway.
While he had been in his room unpacking, he had been feeling confident and excited, thinking how different things would be. But as he stood now in the hallway looking at the students bustling about him that confidence started to deflate like a balloon with a small hole in it. He gulped and held his book to his chest, walking nervously through the hallway. Some people looked at him, he was small and he looked young and out of place for a senior dorm. He walked a little faster and ran down the stairs and out the door. He breathed in deeply as he drew in the fresh air.
He looked around and noticed a group of people walking around on what looked like a tour. In a field not too far off, he noticed someone dancing and someone else sitting near them. After a few deep breaths, he started walking and heading towards the library. Egan already knew the campus, he had memorized the maps of the campus and buildings so finding his way was pretty easy. Once he was on a straight path, he opened up his book and started reading as he walked. It was a habit of his, he could rarely walk without actually reading but also a rather dangerous one.
"Sorry," he said after bumping shoulders with someone, "excuse me," he made his way through a crowd. Just as he found his place again, he walked straight into someone, his book and glasses falling. "I'm so sorry!" He said quickly, scrambling to pick up his book and fix his glasses.
