The world is ruled by vampires. Technology is amazing and the one good thing is that the wildlife and forests are beautiful,but the cities are filthy places. Many vampires prefer to live out in the country.

Its been about decade since the vampires took over. Maybe less, I do not remember. It has been since forever since I saw the last human being that was healthy. In the market, where we where sold like pets, there where alot of them. They all looked pissed and scared to me. None was mentally healthy, some where weak, old or sick. They where bought at a lower price. I am not sure what price I was bought at, but I know I was bought or I would not be on my way in the back of this black car to the house. I guess the person who bought me did not have much intrest in actaully getting me from the market. My throat is dry, I am hungry and I am extremely tired. I miss home, my old life, but then again, what human doesn't?
She was only about 17 now and being sold to a vampire. She was dressed in a white silky dress that reached to right about her lower knees. She had tattered shoes and her long hair was pulled back into a messy bun. She was being ordered to be driven to her new 'home'. All humans where like that. Once they where bought, they where driven to their new 'home' by an unknown being in a black car up to where the vampire had lived. No matter who they where, all humans where transported like this after they where first bought. She crumbled her dress in small fists as she got closer. Each bump on the road turned into an agonizing step closer to what she thought was going to be death. Of course, her face was emotionless. She looked out of the window before pulling up to the vampire's house, more like mansion. She looked at it as the car took one final last bump, and stopping.
He sat down, swishing a small whine glass of blood. He was fairly bored and could not wait until his servant was here to entertain him. He smiled a devious smile before that disappeared as fast as it popped up. He had a frustrated look before throwing the whine glass across the room. He sighed. This was truly boring. "When is that damn vampire going to be here with my human?!" His snarl was cruel and harsh.
Almost frightening. He got up and walked towards the other room. He had lost his appetite for blood, for now. He had heard that dark, elite vampires transport humans from the market to their house. He liked that, how he did not have to travel anywhere to get the stupid human. He went towards the chair and sat back down, his head falling back on the arm of the chair. "They are too slow." He growled in a mummer.

Listening intently he could faintly make out the auctioneer lining his fellow humans up like cattle, this was Lucian's sixth? or seventh time being sold. His last master had met with a... curious demise, he left no will so his slaves were taken off an auctioned one by one. He heard Amelia get auctioned off for 5,000 which was low and she was arguably the prettiest of the lot... though her scars were probably unbecoming. The last master was a sadist and enjoyed torturing his human women as a sick fetish of his. His brow furred in the momentary anger, only to disappear a few seconds later. He couldn't afford to show his hatred now.. not now.
He wished he could remove this blind fold, he didn't know its purpose. He knew the other slaves were terrified and they always looked to him for strength, but he had none to lend them now. He felt the pull on his chains and he numbly followed standing on a raised platform. He felt the Auctioneer jab him with a cane or stick as he talked.
"I got a real treat for you, the best iv had in awhile. This human prime blood; tasted it myself folks from a chalice last night and it was among the finest iv had in years. His body is good for hard labor... or other softer pursuits. He served as a Butler under four other vampires becoming more skilled as the years go on he got even better. He is completely calm and docile following commands to the letter. A truly Perfect human pet." Lucian held back his gag as the thought of having to touch those blood sucking monstrosities... again was vile. Lucian fought down a grimace as he hated this... he wasnt a cow.
After a few more pointless advertisement attempts he started the bid "10,000 starting!" Lucian could hear the numbers steady climbling 10,000.. 15,000.. 25,000. Lucian blinked behind his blindfold 25,000 that was a good amount for a human. He had yet to see numbers climb that high. Well if he couldn't hurt them physically it was nice to know he was hurting their pockets.. damn leeches. He stayed quite listening to the auctioning around him.

"Come in." he said. Vincent's voice was like velvet, a sinister sound that was smooth but sly at the same time and had a cold edge to it. He had a slight accent that seemed to be a mix of British and Romanian but no one could ever really tell. As the door slowly opened he saw a small maid with her hands shaking on the door knob. He tilted his head and smiled, forgetting to retract his sharp long white fangs that glimmered and the maid jumped. "Ah, Rose. What news do you have for me, my dear? I assume it's important." he said, closing the book slowly.
The maid looked at him; still shaking with fear before she slowly walked inside but she kept herself against the door. "My lord; a car has pulled out in front. I do believe it is the human you bought." she said, her shrill voice also shaking just like her fragile fingers. Vincent grinned; a grin that was never forgotten. A twisted, sly, amused grin that spread across his pale lips and the maid instantly looked down. Vincent slowly rose, dusting myself off and adjusting the black suit like top he wore with the red buttons and the small tails that came out behind him. He then raised his hands to his hair and made sure the loose ponytail was not too lose and then flipped some of his bangs from his eyes.
"Very good." he said, walking towards the door. The maid slowly held the door open before Vincent caught her wrist with his cold lean long fingers. The maid gasped and shrieked slightly and Vincent could feel the pulse pounding ever so quickly in her veins. He grinned and then slowly raised her wrist to his mouth and bit hard into the creamy pale flesh. The maid shrieked again in pain as he slowly took a few gulps and then let go of her wrist; letting it drop as she melted from fear. "Thank you for the message, Rose. You may return to your previous chores." he said with a smile and then he walked to the front door and opened it. He tilted his head towards the car parked in front of his large mansion.
"Johnson! Do come here." A young man, a butler, came scuttling over. He had been new here since Vincent broke the last Butler's neck when the Butler spilled blood on Vincent's new and expensive suit at a blood party a few weeks ago. The man kept a straight back but Vincent could smell the fear and could hear the pounding of the man's heart. "Go and fetch the human inside the car. I'd rather be a surprise for her." Vincent smiled and handed the butler a pair of handcuffs. "Do use these if she get's feisty or tries to run off. And if so; you may use that pocket knife I gave you." Vincent said and then the man nodded before slipping out the door.
The butler went over to the car and stopped at the door, knocking on the window lightly as the driver rolled it down. "Lord Redwood sent me to get the human." Johnson said. He then waited for the human to open the door and reveal herself. Some sweat rolled down his brow for he knew his master was watching him.
Vincent waited back in his large living room. He stood by the huge glass windows covered by curtains, pulling one back to look out at the car and he waited patiently for the human to come out.

Now that the vampires were the dominate species..there was very little to do. It wasn't required to sneak or scheme such things. Blood was on the menu openly.
"I got a real treat for you, the best i've had in a while. This human prime blood; tasted it myself folks from a chalice last night and it was among the finest i've had in years.." Iris twitched. Blood... She licked her lips, pulling her hood more securely down as she headed for the slave market. Her cloak rattled as the wind blew..or so it would seem. It was actually the vials bumping into each other within her cloak pocket. A travelling treat..just in case.
She continued looking down, desiring not to be recognised. Her red fringe covering a tad bit of her eyes. She blended quite well in the crowd and continued listening to the auction. "His body is good for hard labor... or other softer pursuits. He served as a Butler under four other vampires becoming more skilled as the years go on he got even better. He is completely calm and docile following commands to the letter. A truly Perfect human pet" Iris smirked. Sounds good for vampire gambling.. She licked her lips again.
Vampire gambling.. partly copied off the humans and their versions of wrestling and gambling except more cruel. Humans would be put into the ring to fight each other and if they passed the third round, would go against a vampire obviously to lose and have their body parts distributed to the crowd for a blood feast. Violent, fills pockets and bloody satisfying. Iris had never played but the idea amused her.
She pushed aside her fringe to glance up at the podium. The slaves were stripped and left with only minimum clothing. "Disgusting.." Iris couldn't help but comment on the display. "Genuine human filth" someone in the crowd said agreeing.
"10,000 starting!" The auction started and the numbers kept raising "10,000.. 15,000.. 25,000" Iris coughed. That much for a human honestly.. he must be decent. She concluded as she stared up at the man chained and bound standing in the front. For the heck of it.. She raised her hand in a swift motion. "50,000"

He was being sold.
Just when he thought life couldn't get any worse, he'd been yanked out of the only semblence of a home he'd known for half of his miserable life. The teen would like to think that he was being given away because his previous "owners," for lack of a better word, had gotten sick of his minor acts of rebellion. That wasn't true, of course; they'd just gotten bored of him. They'd slaughter his family, enslaved him for eight years- and they'd finally gotten bored of him. But instead of being merciful and killing him on the spot, they'd decided to try and get a quick buck out of it.
For the life of him, James couldn't decide whether this was a blessing or a curse. Yes, he'd gotten away from his parents' killers, but his new master might have even less of a heart. He sighed, blowing a few strands of hair out of his face. He supposed there was really nothing he could do about it. Just pray for the best, which he wasn't likely to get. And have the courage to maintain what little freedom he still had left. He hadn't been broken yet, and he intended to stay like that.
OOC Notes
The sounds of the auctioneer rang loudest out of the murmurs and whines that reached his ears. Everything smelled so... Raw. Soapy, in a way, even. The places where his skin wasn't scratched and burning, the cold air chilled it to the bone. Through his struggling, Mail still sensed eyes scanning over him, his subconscious registering the few chuckles. His mind so focused on his attempt to free himself, but the remembrance of what had happened floated back.
He had been running. He was just about to reach a safe point in his quest for freedom when the vampires caught him. He had tried getting away from them, but he was tired, and their nails easily dragged him down and into the bonds he was now placed in. The scratches on chest and shoulders were still red, still burning.
The thoughts made his struggling calm somewhat, but, quick enough, it started back. Too late for regret now, not like this would last long enough. He would get out soon enough.

She saw the man come to the car. She slowly opened the door, the harsh winter air brushed along her cheeks. She wanted to go back into the car. She hated it. The winter. The only good thing was how pure the snow was. As if it had no worries in the world, and of course, it was not blood. She took a small step out with shiver going down her back from the cold. She growled softly as she closed the door. Nothing but the clothes on her back and the shoes on her feet. Damn this. Damn it all to hell.
The cold wind blew through the area, causing her to hold onto her lower shoulders as she shivered. She looked up at the man. Just then, she saw him. Just a glimpse, no, more like blonde hair. Only a corner of it. She then turned to the boy. "Tell me, how long do you suppose that I will last in here?" She asked. She looked around as she observed the landscape, and at the same time, she kept a close eye on both, the person in the window and the person infront of her.

"Depends on how much my master likes you. He does have his days... you'll just have to see for yourself." Johnson took her arm in his right hand, pulling her up towards the large house as the car started to drive off. Johnson kept quiet until he led the girl up to the door and he opened it, pushing her gently inside before closing it and locking it. His heart beat slower now as he set the handcuffs on the table and he walked to the doors on the right but kept an eye on the girl. He knocked on it. "Master, she's here." he said and then stepped aside. He swallowed.
Vincent had been adjusting his sleeves when he watched the girl come to the house. He tilted his head; and then he would adjust his collar and walk to the two doors when he heard Johnson knocking on it. He then went to the doors, slowly opening them as his eyes flashed red while he looked about carefully. He looked at the girl instantly, his eyes traveling up and down her slowly as his thoughts rolled about in his head. Some turning into twisted thoughts, other into calmer thoughts and he smiled that evil twisted smile, his lips curling. "Finally. No blonde hair. I was getting sick of them." he adjusted his ponytails and walked towards the girl and then glanced at Johnson before looking back at the girl.
"Welcome to my mansion. I'm Lord Redwood. You will refer to me as Master, Master Redwood, or Lord Redwood." he said as he looked down at the girl, still studying her carefully. "What's your name, girl?" he asked, tilting his head to the side. He quickly shook it as the thoughts of chains and knives were swimming around in his mind. He couldn't let his insanity overcome him just yet. But when he smelled the sweet smell in the air and that made his nostrils flare, he knew it was her. He swallowed thickly as his veins burned lightly.

What I saw was a fairly handsome man, easy on the eyes, but a fairly handsome face. I should know that vampire are beautiful creatures, though. I still had a fowl taste when I saw him. He may have looked beautiful, but he was cold. To cold to even touch a rose without freezing it with his heart.
All she did was glare. "My name is Ren. Though, I told you my name, I will never, ever, call you my master. Its weird." She growled, crossing her arms, still a little cold from outside. Her attitude was sour. Almost as sour as sour patch kids.(Love that candy. xP) She looked at how frighten everyone was, and to tell the truth, she was probably as scared as them, except, she was better at hiding it. She looked back at the man. She had to admit some, she had always envy how beautiful the vampire's eyes where.
Ren was expensive, because of what she had. Since she had her older brother around, she was probably one of the few humans who has not been bitten yet by a vampire. She was also a virgin, which add on to the price. Though, she kind of lowered the price herself with her air-headiness and attitude. Yet, still a bit pricey. She looked around the house in the room she was in.

"I think you will in time." he said and then he looked to Johnson and back at the girl. He crossed his arms, staring at the red slashes on her cheek and he smirked a bit. "If your smart you won't get on my bad side, Ren. Johnson's here because I snapped the neck of the last butler who spilled blood on my new suit." he said with a grin and then he walked past her, grabbing her wrist and his nails dug into her flesh as he pulled her through another door. "Now, how about I give you the grand tour and we cover a few ground rules, hm?" he said, glancing a grin at her.
OOC Notes
She squeaked as he dug his fingers into her cheek. She looked at him as he licked it. Vampires are truley disgusting creatures... She thought. She growled at him as spoke. She knew she would never do such a thing as in call a vampire master. She scowled as she held her face. She felt the blood and pain that his nails could do. She put her hand down, not bothering to wipe the blood off of her hand. She gave him a dirty look before he grabbed her wrist and dragging her along.
"Now, how about I give you the grand tour and we cover a few ground rules, hm?" he said, giving her a look. She felt his nails drive into her skin along her writs. She pulled the oppisite direction with no avail. "Let go of me! I can perfectly walk by myself!" She growled. She tugged away from him and once she had gotten away from his grip, she held her hand along the nail marks that he had given her.
Suck my blood Master. Let me give you my body for your use. Psh. Whatever. Who in their right mind would ever say that? I hate vampires. When the world was still sane, I remeber reading vampire love books. They use to give me great intrest in them, but now, they just disgustes me. He disgustes me. He was disgusting, period. That is all the ways I could describe as. Purely torchuring. I hate him. If I ever call him by 'master', then it would be 'master moron.' I hope that humanity picks up the pase, even though I am just making empty hopes and dreams. For, this is the time of the vampires. Horriable beings.

"This is the main stair case. The right leads to the bedrooms. The left leads up to a few more rooms of different sorts. Through the doors to the right is the grand ballroom. You'll only go in there if I permit it." he said. The stair cases were slightly curved and had gold rails and red steps of velvet that went high to the halls connecting on top; where one large hallway went left and then another went right. He glanced down at her again and then he walked forward and towards the doors across the large lobby like space and opened them. He then pushed her inside and it was a large living room of sorts with book shelves piled with books and a roaring fire, elegant couches and paintings of elegant and pale people.
"This is the main living room where guests come. You may come in here when you please. As long as you don't knock anything over." He said with a harsh like tone but the coldness in his voice was fading as he eyed her and then he turned to Johnson as Johnson stood in the doorway. He knew that Johnson had suggested to try to be more... kind towards the human if the human was going to learn to obey him. But it was difficult for Vincent to be this way.
"Are you hungry? Or thirsty?" Vincent asked, a strain to his voice. He wasn't used to asking humans this but he didn't want things to end like they had with his last human.
OOC Notes
"So, where are we going?" No answer, not that he'd really expected one. He'd only given it a shot because her was currently bored out of his mind. The human couldn't even look out the windows, since they were tinted almost black for protection against sunlight. A vampire might be able to see through the glass without any difficulty, but he was left completely blind. Sighing, James pulled his legs up to his chest, trying to retain body heat. The least he could have done was giving him some decent clothing. At least the inside of the car was warmer than the weather outside.
James must have dozed off sometime during the ride, because the next thing he was aware of was sprawling onto the ground as the door he'd been leaning against was pulled open. The brunette glared up at the driver, but opted to remain silent. Voicing a complain would immediately lead to pain. Pulling himself to his bare feet, he glanced over the house- or rather, mansion- he'd be staying in from here on out. One thing was for sure: if he was supposed to clean this place, it would probably take about a week to get the job done. Shoving that unpleasant thought out of his mind for the moment, he let something else catch his attention. Standing in the middle of a flower patch was a little girl in a nightgown. James cocked his head to the side, surprise in his stormy blue eyes. What the heck...?

She shot him a dirty look when he had threatened her. She crossed her arms as was shoved into the room. She was fed up. She was about to burst as they went through the house. She really did not like his tone at all. She walked with him, taking in the beautiful mansion at a time. She felt uneasy though when the butler behind her kept following them. Though, then again, she would be even more uneasy if they where ever left alone.
When they got to the room, she was astonish, so much, that she even forgotten for a second at where she was. "Are you hungry? Or thirsty?" His voice snapped her out of it. She turned to him. "Since when do you care?" She mumbled and whispered to herself and made sure that he could barely hear it. She looked at him. "Yes I am. I want fresh spring water with spaghetti!" She demanded. Since he had asked, why not make the best of it? "I want it now! As soon as possible under and hour and I want you to make it." She snarled. Like always, her voice was cold and sour.
She was too much of an airhead to know it was a bad idea to demand something from a vampire, and plus, she really did not have much experience with them, since her older brother took most of the fall and pretty much hid her until he was dead.
OOC Notes
"Oh. I'll get something for you, my dear." Vincent said and then dragged the human to the couch, pushing her down roughly. He then walked over to his desk, opening a drawer and pulling out a vial of clear liquid. He arranged the vial and put it into a shot, inserting the needle and then turned towards the girl. He then walked over, grabbing her arm and jabbing the needle straight into the main vein in her elbow and pushing the needle down roughly so all the liquid poured into her veins.
This liquid helped to relax a human and to make them weaker and more drowsy. He was fed up with her snobby behavior.
He stood there, his arms crossed as he stared at her to see how quickly the liquid infected her veins, tilting his head to the side.

She heard the yelling, which made her laugh louder seeing the low prices some were shouting out. She liked the smell of this person's blood it filled the air with an luster scent. "A good man. Confident. Tried to escape but here his is! Fairly handsome he is," she heard the auctioneer yelling in a voice booming like thorns. Lucifer didn't care about the man's personality and all but his blood that lingered in the air for almost as long as she lived. Like, a rose that will never die. She heard chants of ladies rarely men yelling off prices, "5,000." She laughed hearing such a low price. "7,000," this wasn't any better. "8,000... 10,000... 16,000..." She was tired of hearing these low prices, not seeing who was being auctioned but still yelled, "95,000..." She found someone ending up yelling, "100,000," after her, making her grit her white, straight teeth her fangs showing as shiny as they were. "150,00..." She said back as loud as she was with a fierce sharp voice.
"Is that the last one... We can go higher right? With a 1... 2... 3..." The man looked at everyone seeing them walk off and stared at her with eyes of business. Lucifer soon saw the auctioned person which was hers now. He wasn't handsome nor anything she wished for but blood mattered more to her than looks. "I wouldn't lie to you sir," she said kicking the man that opened the door telling him to give the money. The servant knew what it was and walked to the man with, 200,00. The green haired girl knew she was going to waste some money and prepared. "What may I call you, young lady?" The girl seemed to roll her eyes hearing young lady, "Madame Knight," she said seeing her male servant giving the money to the auctioneer. "Sir, check the money. The extra is the tax or a tip for you sir. Aren't I an kind madam?" She looked at the male check the money thoroughly releasing the auctioned person from his chains. She pointed to her other servant and kicked him to also use this as a symbol saying, Go put him in the carriage. He dragged the slave near her and gave her an questioned look. She felt like ripping the man's head but this man was a vampire if human he would be died. She pointed inside the carriage, the servant simply forced him inside as she waved her hand, the servant closed the door.

She could hardley breathe and felt his power against her neck. She was trying to get her face straight, but it was no use, fear leaked out. She struggled and tried to get away from his grip as she was thrown down towards the couch. She made an 'oof' sound when she hit it. Thoose words made her heart stop. She watched him walk towards the desk. "What the..." She stopped herself, which was probably a good idea on the account of what she was going to say.
For the first time, she was too afraid to move as he walked near with the needle. MOVE! Damn it! Come on Ren, MOVE! Move your damn body you stupid girl! Her mind was screaming at her, causing her to have a headache. She backed up as he drew closer with the needle. When he had grabbed her, she could feel the piercing pain that was sent down her arm. Tears weld up in her eyes, though, they never came out.
"Bastard!" She growled as she clutched the bleeding dot. Something was wrong. Her head felt heavy and she felt drowsy. She also found it hard to beable to walk or stand, anything besides sit or laying down. She fell back on the couch. She wasn't sleepy, but she did feel as if she was trapped in a dead body. Whats going on? Why won't my body listen to me? Why won't it move? Thoughts raced through her mind. She looked back, as she found it harder to even hold onto the bleeding dot. She propped herself up with only of her will.
She glared at him. "I hate you!" She snarled. "I hate all of you disgusting blood sucking bugs!" She blushed from the frustration this was causing her. "Go to hell!" She kept yelling out insults similar to this. Once again, the tears weld up in her eyes, but they weren't coming out. She started to glare at him. "Why don't you just leave us alone! We did nothing to deserve this you freaking murderer!"

Vincent sighed and looked back at the human and then he tossed the lamp on a chair and walked over, grabbing her arms and jerking her up. His face was inches from her's. "I'm not a bug, dear. I'm a leech." he said, whispering coldly in her ear and then he pierced her neck with his fangs, drawing blood. He didn't suck though; he only bit and then he shoved her into Johnson's arms.
"Take her to get something to eat. I won't have her starving on me. But then you bring her back here and I'll show her her room..." he said, muttering coldly as Johnson slowly led Ren out of the living room. Vincent would then slammed his foot into a chair that went flying into the wall. He growled and then sat down on the couch, the empty needle and vial on the floor as he sighed and let himself calm down. Oh how he would break her... he would break his new little toy.
~~~~~
Johnson slowly led Ren to the kitchen and sat her down on the table, and walked over to the counter where he grabbed some bread and put butter on it and then grabbed a tall glass of ice cold water and set it in front of her and then he leaned against the table, watching her. "Eat. I won't get beaten for your stubbornness." he said blankly.
OOC Notes
Ren glared at him as he picked up the lamp. She saw that the person who saved her was the butler. She wanted to hit him upside the head with a lamp a few times. When he grabbed her arm and jerked her forward, she started to tremble, she couldn't stop her body from trembling. She heard his cruel voice. Leach. that word rang through her ears. Either way, a leach is still a bug... she thought as he spoke. When he had bit her with his teeth, her body became out of her minds reach and trembled, sending shivers down the spine of her back.
Her eyes widen. This was the first time she was ever bitten by a vampire and it made her feel sick to her stomach, even though it was just a bite. No sucking or anything. He pulled her off the couch and into the butler's arms. Her body still felt heavy and she didn't like being thrown around like a rag doll, but what could she have done? She followed the butler and sat down and gave her some water, and bread and butter. "Eat. I won't get beaten for your stubbornness." He was blank.
She looked at him. "What am I? A prisoner?" She growled as she gulped down the water. She was more thirsty than hungry and the cold glass felt good going down her throat. She picked up the bread and ate it as well. She looked at him. "Am I going to bed now? Are you going to bed too?" She said, not as cold as to the vampire, but it was pretty damn cold in the way she was speaking. She was already half asleep from the drug, so her grammer was some what off. Today was a ruff day for her and she was tired and cranky.
"Ow." she complained.
The vampire ignored her. She stood there waiting for something to happen.
Lucians head turned in the direction of the voice the yelled "50,000" that was quite a bit, and it sounded like a female voice. Well he supposed he could do alot worse. The auctioneer jumped with excitement "Sold to the lady in the back." The rest of the auction ended fairly quickly as the rest of the stock were of little value, and most of the richer vampires going home since the good stock was gone. Lucian felt himself being pulled pack behind the curtain and his blindfold was ripped off his face by one of the guards, who unchained him as well.
Lucian nodded having done this more times then he could remember, and grabbed the bag offered to him. It contained the items he had on him when he was taken, but he knew that the money and all valuables were long gone. Letting out a sigh, he pulled on his old uniform. The red silk suit sliding over his arms, was a feeling he relished and detested an interesting combination. He reached back and pulled his hair back into a pony tail tying it up, into a long black waterfall falling behind his head. He nodded to the guard who had been watching him change like a hawk, as a confirmation he was finished. The guard walked behind Lucian prodding him along, until he stood before a rather short but gorgeous woman. He figured she was around the same age as himself, with pale skin and long flowing red hair... he almost gagged, although his face showed none of this, instead he gracefully bowed "I am at your service Mistress, I am Lucian, unless you wish to rename me" he would not stand back up until she had spoken.
Re: [OOC] Vampires--> Servants.
the reason i made up this rp is because i wanted to make up a twisted romance between something that will never love and something that will love. :D
but thank you for telling us. :)
Re: [OOC] Vampires--> Servants.
First, we do have a policy regarding romance in RP: Romance is fine, but eroticism is not. That is to say, if a detailed sex scene makes sense in the context of the story, is contained in a single post, and has literary value, then it tends to pass our litmus test. Beyond that, you are allowed to make a single response post to a kiss in kind, but the back-and-forth ends there.
Second, while romance is something the staff is totally okay with when done well, portrayal of slavery of any sort is a touchy subject at best. Even in the case of pre-Civil War America or other historically accurate portrayal of a setting that includes it, this tends to be a very sensitive issue. On the other hand, when one goes out of their way to segregate characters into human slaves and their vampire masters, this veers dangerously close to our rule banning Master/Slave RPs even if such a phenomenon is written into the history of the setting.
I'm going to give this RP the benefit of the doubt for now, but rest assured that if the vampires start to use their power and authority to extort sexual favors from their slaves, one of us WILL come down full force with our banhammers on this RP.
And I am sorry, I won't be able to post today. I will try to get up early tomorrow, so you might have the chance to respond than, depending on your timezone.
And i think Iris would be delighted to have something edible come along lol xD
Re: [OOC] Holocaust of the World.
Anyways, are you going to write a post with the preparations for the dinner, or do you just want everyone arriving?
