Gwen came to consciousness with a groan, feeling absolutely horrible and...wet, oddly enough. She opened her eyes blearily, and sat up, taking note of her surroundings.

She was...on a beach, apparently. ....What?

How the hell had she gotten onto a beach? And....ugh, why was she soaking wet? Why was the horrid taste of seawater in her mouth too, for that matter?

Gwendolyn groaned again, and put a hand to her head. The last thing she remembered was fighting with someone....Jasmine, right? And then they had...tumbled overboard...

Her heart icy with fear, Gwen jumped to her feet, and looked around. The a small beach stretched out before her eyes, and the ever encompassing ocean surrounded this little patch of land. And there was no sign of the cruise ship anywhere....

Shit. Shit shit shit shit! She must have washed or maybe even swam herself to this shore after going overboard. Oh God...what was she going to do?!

Jasmine groaned and rolled over. "Stop it mom. Ill get up when I get up." She groaned out, then she heard another squawk in her ear. "I said shut up!" She screamed and bat at the thing next to her ear. She was confused when she felt feathers instead of her mothers pants. She quickly opened her eyes and saw a seagull. She screamed slightly and sat up. The bird squawked loudly and flew away. "How the-" She asked herself while looking around her. Her eyes quickly adjusted and she saw that she was on a beach, not her house. Then she remembered she had got onto the boat for a school trip and she had gotten into a fight, with that little geek. She doesn't remember anything after that. She just remembers blacking out when the first punch was thrown.

Gwendolyn cautiously stood up, and was glad to note her legs still functioned properly. Good, so she didn't have a twisted ankle or something, and it didn't feel like she had broken a bone. Good, very good. Now...

Shit. What...what was she going to do?!

"Maybe this island is inhabited." Gwen murmured to herself, hoping dearly that it was true. "Maybe I can get help. Maybe..."

Okay, trying to find the locals sounded good. Where to start?

She looked off into the distance, opposite the beach. The shore ran pretty far, but she was certain the edges of some jungle or forest marked the end of the beach over there. Okay, that might be a good place to start...

Her thoughts were cut off when she heard a scream nearby. Gwendolyn froze for a moment, before running toward the sound. She came to an abrupt halt when she found the source of the noise.

Jasmine. Of course, it had to be Jasmine...
