Lillith let out a long sigh. Watching the tree's move past her, blurs of green's and brown's. "You are just going to love the Handin's!" My case worker exclaimed happily as she drove. A huge grin played on her face. "There taking in five other foster children, there first!" Another over happy statement. "Yeah, you said that about the other's to." Lily mumbled.

"It's wasnt my fault Mr. Granen drank!" She exclaimed with a hint of annoyance. "It wasn't the drinking that bothered me..." Lily trailed off as Jen turned onto a pavemented road. "We're almost there!" She said with a very wide grin. Probably happy about getting rid of me... Lily thought to herself as they finally pulled into the drive. A very large house where she pointed to with her finger. Well the only house for about 7 miles north. The Handin's are very secluded people...

"Meet Mr. Handin, Lillith!" Jen said over happy, a very tall man stood beside her. Dark green eyes, broad shoulders and short combed dusky hair. He must of appeared while I was day dreaming... Lily thought to herself as she got out of the car. Shaking the man's large hand. "I'm Lily." She said tiredly, "I'm Harold Handin." He said with a grin that gave Lily a shiver. "Harold! Darling! Is that the first one?!" A woman came out, long bouncy blonde hair, bright green eyes, tiny frame with awkwardly big.. well you get the picture.

A tiny boy followed her, wide bright green eyes and brown hair. A bit small, maybe around the age of 5... "Well I leave you all to get situated." Jen said with a very happy grin. Usually she would go check out the house with me first, but it seemed DHS had gotten a bit tired of me... Lily thought as she followed Jen's hand. "I'll wait out here for the rest, Kassy, show Lily around." And with that the man took a seat on a lounge chair.

Lily let out a sigh and followed the woman, Kassy around the house. Finally sopping in the living room she said, "Theres the remote, you can watch T.V. until the rest come!" She exclaimed a bit to happy. Reminding Lily of Jen. The woman went back outside to see is any of the other foster kids came. Lily grabbed the remote and switched on the television.

A blue car pulled into the drive. "You will be so happy here. It will be much better than your old home. These people will become your best friends in no time."

"I have no family. Not now. Not ever." The woman in the driver's seat frowned.

"Look. You have no other options. No one wants a pregnant teen and you are extremely lucky this nice couple is taking you in. Now act right or you are on your own." Kristina was shocked. She shut her mouth and grabbed her bags. She opened the door to see an older man. "Hello." the case worker said. 'You must be Mr, Handin. I'm Rachel and this is Kristina.

"Hi." Kris said softly.

"She can be a bit shy. She will warm up soon." Krissy looked around at the place she was being forced to stay. It was very pretty and peaceful. Maybe she could stay here. Maybe something better would come along.

As the bright green car drove through the streets. Kodi looked down at her worn out converse. She closed her eyes and sighed. "You excited?" the case worker, named Tilly asked. Kodi didn't say a word. "You don't have to be exited. I don't control your feelings. But if you want to make a fresh start, i would perfer you lighten up a bit 'hun." All Kodi did was exhale a big sigh in reply. The car arrived at the house Kodi was staying in for, quite a while. Kodi looked up and swallowed. She tried to look her best with her fake smile, plastered dead on her face. Her green eyes had faded to a shade of grey, her face as dark and gloomy then ever. She shut the car door on her way out and inhaled deeply. She walked with Tilly, a tall woman with dark brown eyes and auburn hair. Both scuttled they're way towards the door.

Aeri watched the scenery fly by out her window, and closer to her new foster home. Her eyes began to droop, but she refused to let herself fall asleep. She had just endured a five hour plane flight, and though her case worker advised her to sleep, Aeri had found herself often stopping an attendant and asking to check for an oxygen leak, or ask how much gas they had, or making sure that the pilot didn't have any heart problems (he could have a heart attack, you know. The plane would go down before anyone would ever realize what had happened!). It felt odd to be out of her small town and into a big city. It felt weirder not to have her mountains. Everything here was just so.... flat.

"What's their names again?" Aeri asked, even though she hadn't ever forgotten them. She just hoped she could con her caseworker to tell her something about them, something she hadn't studied about in their files she had begged her caseworker to let her see. And, she needed something to keep her awake.

The caseworker signed, glancing at Aeri through the corner of her eyes. "I've told you everying I know about them, Aeriana."

"Awww, Mrs. Hale!" Aeri whined. "Tell me again. Please? Do they have a dog?"

Mrs. Hale sighed. "I don't know, Aeri. Maybe. I'm a caseworker, not their family member."

"You could be," Aeri pointed out. "I mean, we're all actually related somehow, with Adam and Eve. But you never know, you could be the kid of their long-lost uncle, or the granddaughter of the neice of their great-grandma. Or maybe..."

"We're here," Mrs. Hale interrupted, climbing out of the beat-up red minivan. Aeri jumped out of the car and scurried over to catch up to her caseworker, who was inside and exchanging words with her new family members (and quite possibly, Mrs. Hale's aunt's husband's kids). She noticed a few other kids in the room as well, her new siblings! She cast them a smile before turning back to the Hinton parents. "Do you have a pet?" she interrupted, "Or, quite possibly, a piano?" She pointedly ignored her caseworker's chastising glare.

Michael slanted over as his child services manager smiled at him as he twisted on his grey yet stunning beard.Michael looked at him in curiosity as he sighed."So,the people who live here wanna take me in,raise me for like two freaking years and then dump me on the side of a road so why am i here ?".The man hit his head on the top of the car top as he opened his door."Look Michael,your mom decided to keep you like that and what you've been through,Drugs,Pain,Beer everyday,that's not meant for you,it never should have been so bulk up and just stay with the fact that you get the chance to live a better life you know".Michael shook his head in disagreement."Yeah right,like this place is just gonna make me some kind of nerd-alert,brainwashed ass,not on my list bro,and never will be".

Michael got out of the car and put the stolen money from the man's pocket in his jacket."So,um dude i didn't catch your name or something".The man walked next to michael as they headed towards the door."It's Charles and i would like it if you just called me that by the way.Michael smirked at his comment as he muttered ."He's such a smartass isn't he,back where i came from i didn't get to live in all the fancy cars or be rich,i stayed that way until now".Mr.Charles glared at him strangely."What was that you just said michael ? ".Michael stood back as two people were in his face as they smiled."Welcome to the Hintons".Michael sighed."Oh great,im really gonna feel like hell here isn't it".

Cassandra had buried her head in a book as soon as she had sat in Melanie's car. Melanie was her case-worker and taking the young woman to her newest foster home, also happening to her her eighth in the last three years. The dark haired woman was prattling on about something or other but all Cassandra heard was the hum of her rather masculine voice, tuning the actual words out until the car came to a stop and the blonde teenager looked up.

" Here it is," Melanie said with an accomplished smile on her lips, " Your new home."

The blonde rolled her dark blue eyes as she snapped the book closed, to which Melanie flinched. Was it obvious this girl was new to the job? It certainly was to Cassandra and she made a point of trying to unnerve the poor woman. " Oh," she said lightly, raising an eyebrow as she stared at the window. " How lovely," Cassandra's tone was sarcastic but she really couldn't deny the place was nice.

" Come on Cassie," Melanie said cheerfully as she opened her car door and got out of the vehicle, closing the door behind her and cutting of Cassandra's rude comment, to which the girl dropped the book to the floor. It was Melanie's anyway so she really didn't care if it got damaged.

The teen glared as she got out of the car and slammed the door closed, Melanie had already grabbed her backpack from the back seat, and grabbed the bag from the woman before slinging it over one shoulder. Her foster brother in her last home had given it to her for her birthday and she hated for others to touch it.

Melanie led the way to the front door, chirping cheerfully the entire way as Cassandra's gaze wandered around the area. It was lovely and that made her despise this place already.

Lily cringed at the high pithed squeal coming from outside. It looks like the new foster kid came.... Lily stood, a bit to curious for her own good. She glanced out of one of the many windows around the house. A girl with long light blonde hair was in the driveway with a social worker beside her. 

It seemed that Mr. and Mrs. Hinton were talking to her. A few minutes later two cars drove in, the bright green one catching her gaze first. Another girl came out, multicoloured hair and a noticeable fake smile. The other girl rushed up to the Hintons and seemed to be talking really fast and excitedly because her face had a painful exited tint to it. 

Kassy, already having a wide smile on her face, shook her head slightly at the girls comment. Another car pulled up and out stepped a boy. Almost immediately the Hintons broke away and welcomed the boy. He seemed to suck away slightly and mumble something under his breath. 

And finally a last car pulled forward. Another blonde girl stepped out. She slammed the door behind her and stepped forward as all of the case workers talked with the Hintons. Lily moved to the door, slightly wanting to meet her new foster siblings. She opened the door and walked outside into the warmth. She walked straight up into the adults conversation and smiled at the foster kids. "Hey, Im Lillith. " Usually she would've been bitten off if she was to introduce herself like that. By hey, who gave a shit?

After a bunch more kids arrived and one girl came out of the house. An early arriver? She smiled and introduced herself. Lillith. "Hey. I'm Kristina, Kris for short." She looked sick. She felt like crap. She layed her hand on her stomach and looked down, slightly smiling.

Looking at the girl, she gave a real smile this time. "Hi, I'm Kodi." She looked over are the girl next to her, holding her stomach and looking down. "Are you ok?" She looked at the girl, up and down. She was worried, scince these were like family, according to her case manager had said. As a car arrive and a boy came out, she took a quick glance then back at the early girl. "Lets hope this all goes down right." Kodi slightly whispered, more like a mumbled.

"Ueah, you're telling me..." Lillith trailed off as looked concerningly at the girl who looked like she was going to vomit. "I would offer you like a tums or something but I just got here like maybe ten minutes ago." Lily said and glanced asround at all of the other new comers. She nodded with her head for all of them to come inside. The little boy looked up at them and walked up to the three girls. "Leave, run, I don't care. You just have to get out.." He said nervicely and walked away. Lily furrowed her eyebrows a bit unnerved at what the kid had said. "Umm, maybe we should get inside." Lily suggested, glancing at the glass door.

Kodi stepped in and looked at the little boy with interest. Hopefully he was going crazy, or else Kodi would be terrified. She fixed her hair, mainly the green piece that dangled in front of her green eyes. "So I'm guessing we are living here from now on?" she wanted to make it clear. She brought stuff to stay for a year or 5.

Michael leaned over to the side as he saw other girls all around his age or what not.He smiled at all of them until his phone rang and he looked to see that it was a unknown number which he knew was probrably his mother,he missed her so much he had no time to talk he just cut his phone off after he cracked his knuckles as he walked towards a group of two girls and smiled."So,all of you i guess are orphans right,well enjoy this hell of a place because it's so,it's just so odd when you see the parents reaction and all".Michael was kinda enjoying the pain the parents were gonna get.

"Yea." Kodi replied to the boy that came. She looked down and avoided eye contact. She never liked making eye contact because it made her feel, odd. She looked up, but didn't look at anyone. She fixed her blonde bangs that were covering her right eye. She grasped her backpack strap and cleared her throat.

The blonde shook out her long hair as she made her way over to the group that were her new 'family'. A girl came forward and introduced herself, Lilith, and the others followed suit. Though Cassandra tuned them all out.

Her lips turned up into a grin at the little boy who told them to leave, to get out as soon as they could. She stared down at him as she pulled her grin from her expression, nothing showing but frustration. " Wish I could, little boy," Cassandra muttered before following the girl, Lilith, inside the house.

" Oh," she turned to face the group, " I'm Cassandra, by the way."

Lily grinned at the girls name. She has had a foster sister named Cassandra when she was a bit younger they had gotten along quite well. It was a shame that she had had to move away. "I'm pretty sure you all know my name by know. " Lillith said just as the Hintons came walking up. All of he other social workers were leaving. 

"Okay, let's go inside and introduce ourselves!" Mrs. Hinton exclaimed, creepishly pleasant. She hustled the kids inside. gesturing for all of them to sit down on the black leather sofa's. Three sat each of them as they all faced each other. 

Kris noticed someone ask her something. She looked up. "Huh? Oh yea I'm fine." She wondered if telling the rest of the kids she was pregnant would be a good idea right now. "I uh...I'm just alittle hungry." Then the foster parents came out and asked us all to come inside. She followed the rest of the kids inside and sat by herself, her hand still on her stomach.

Kodi sat and looked down, her eyes full of the look of anxiety. She swallowed and weakly looked up and gave a meek smile. She waited for everyone to finish introducing each other so she could say her name. She rested her arms on her legs and lightly grasped her knees. She breathed slowly, as to try and calm down.

Kris looked up at everyone. She stood. "I uh...I guess I will go first. I'm Kristina, Kris for short. Um I'm bi. Let's not freak out if I'm nice to you though, cause it don't mean I like you. I had a twin, but I have no clue where she is now, or if she is even still alive. Oh and, I uh, I kinda got a bun in the oven." She Sat back down and looked at her feet.

Lily was sitting next to Kristina when she went first. She couldn't of guessed she was pregnant, must of been recent. She thought and was almost positive that she saw Kassy have a evil smirk on her face. But just for a moment... I guess I go next.. She thought to herself and blushed slightly. Not liking to talk out loud a lot. Even thought she did earlier.. "I'm Lillith, but I prefer Lily. I'm half way out of the closet if you know what I mean." Lily joked slightly. Licking her lips in a nervice gesture. "And I guess you could say I have a very sick obsession with matches. Not very smart to be playing with them when you a pyro." Lily finished. 

Kodi waited until the girls was finished with they're turn, when Kris introduced herself she realized she wasent hungry. She smiled at Lilly when she was finished. "Hey. My name is Kodian, but please call me Kodi, it's easier to say." She smiled at the teenagers around her, happy that these were her trusted members from here on forth.
