Atonement is an alternate universe continuation of the Outcasters: Third Generation, in which Alec Iris (the main antagonist) started a war for peace, being opposed by Erieda Davenport (the main protagonist) and her numerous family members. This role-play is kind of like an experiment to see what the world would be like if Alec and his allies had succeeded and created a new realm, and it's completely non-canon; hence why it's open to new characters and writers.
If you're unfamiliar with the RP series as a whole, this started out as a slice-of-life role-play which then progressed further as characters gained supernatural powers and discovered their true species, subsequently starting conflicts, relationships, and families. Each generation (of which there have been three so far) focuses on the children of characters from the previous generation, starting with the original seven outcasts.
The Outcasters has always been heavily reliant on writers coming up with their own ideas and plotlines, but this RP will have a little more structure without making writers follow a strict set of events. The basic idea behind the RP is the rebellion of the fae race against the tyranny of demons and wraiths alike (though the story will include and encourage varied races). It all starts with Erieda, as she finds her footing and comes to rescue/lead the fae.

I'm allowing up to six accounts for this roleplay, including myself, but an unlimited amount of characters. So far, the writers are:

I'm not providing a character skeleton for you, since I don't have the time or energy right now, but if you're desperate for one then simply PM me and I can make a basic template. I'm more concerned with detailed characters than fluffed up character sheets anyhow, so don't worry. A few pictures would be nice but mostly writing will suffice. Also, if possible, it should cover the following things:
Basic Information - Name, age, gender, fc, race, story role, etc.
Appearance description - basic features, equipment (if applicable), armour (if applicable), etc.
Personality - at least 1-2 decent paragraphs.
Abilities - powers, strengths, weaknesses.
Backstory - family members (if applicable), early life, etc.
Here are the rules:
1. I require at least one post every three days; if this is something you can't manage, I wouldn't recommend joining. Previous Outcasters RPs have all been extremely fast-paced.
2. This is a mature RP and will contain the following: violence, gore, foul language, sexual references (+ fade-to-black scenes), etc.
3. Be mindful and respectful of others.
4. No racial slurs, discriminative comments or behaviour, general rudeness (ignoring people/posts, controlling their characters).
5. Ask for permission before you try to kill that person's characters.
6. Just let other people know when you're trying to introduce a new plotline, for the sake of being polite.
7. Don't OP your characters, especially if you're new. I already said this but the original characters are incredibly powerful (check the OOC for some idea of power levels).
8. Lastly, there is only one rule with regards to posting. You can post as many times as you'd like if you're in a situation with only one other character. However, if your surroundings include multiple characters, you must wait for each of them to post before you're allowed to.

"You needn't apologise to me, my Mycah," she told him, and he could only smile tight lipped."I'm just glad that you're here now, holding me in your arms, and this time I will not leave you behind..." she told him and he looked away. She seemed to think she left him. He left her to fight with Lord Thomas, to seek vengeance on the wretch that took hurt his Day Girl, ravaged her body in way that boiled his blood to think about even now. It all was for naught. Mycah saw the shivers that shook her body, and his rose his hands to her shoulders, as if to say he was here and she was safe. That she would be. He'd die before he let anything happened to her now. Her face screwed up a bit, as if something foul crossed her thoughts but she seemed to shake it. Turning her gaze to him. "Mycah, tell me... Are you travelling with anyone else? What do you know of my family?" She asked and Mycah swallowed.
"I know of very little, I know not what came of the Fae Queen, not truly, though I've heard rumors that she yet live, her brother...your great uncle....my master....He did not survive...." He said, and it hurt to say, even now, it hurt. "But, Your uncle, the Prince, he yet lives, he leads an attack force, to reclaim a village inhabited by demons, your cousin ,the new Dragon King, he lives as well, he accompanies the Fae Prince as we speak. I will take you to them." He said and he wished he had more good news but he was only just reunited with the group so he really didn't know what became of the others. He'd heard the Faery Queen's screams for her brother, and that was when he took off. He was a coward then, he should have burned with him, that was what a squire and ward was supposed to do, where it not for his mission to find Eida, he would have or at least he hoped he would have. "I've only just met with them, I was on my own for quite some time, the winds were in my favor this day it seems." He said with a smile that didn't reach his eyes.

As Aphylla dashed through the trees, she heard the sound of wood cracking and falling in on itself before the sound of something rushing through the air sounded above her and a shadowed figure landed in front of her, panicking Aphylla picked up her pace breathing in the strength of the trees around her to plough through the figure but it simply stepped aside and let her trudge on through the forest, she slowed to a jog as she looked back to see what the figure was and then recognised it as Kellin, who had the demon in its throat.
Before Aphylla could stop herself, she collided into a large mass which twisted itself around her, she recognised the heat and tenderness in the mass and instead of grunting she started giggling to herself. She opened her eyes as she lay on top of the herculean Aedion, his muscles hiding his tender nature as he brushed stray hairs away from her face. As he brushed her hair out of her face, she began to notice his features, she could see now why he was very popular in the camp. She felt her eyes linger too long and thankfully he asked her a question and she blushed quickly before answering him. ”I’m just peachy.” She smiled, ”Well, now I’m quite hungry for some peaches.” After having been giving the once over for any damage, Aedion sat her on the dirt and stood over her, commenting about how they ended up on the floor. ”Where would be the fun in asking?” She asked with a shrug and roll of the eyes, as she reclined on the floor, using her hands to keep her propped up.
She heard the footsteps and looked over to Kellin and gave him a smile. ”Hey, Kellin, thanks for that.” She gave him a thumbs up before standing herself up and stepping between him and Aedion, who was being particularly fierce about her protection. ”Hey, big guy, it’s okay.” She lightly ran her hand over his bicep. ”Honestly, I could have handled it. I did slash the demon’s chest open, after all. I just needed to get the upper hand and protect the gardens.” As if the very word had sent alarm bells through her head, she excitedly fidgeted, like the girl she used to be before the war was trying to break out. ”Oh my goddess! The gardens!” She squeaked, before grabbing Aedion’s arm and tugging him. ”You have to see it! It’s so pretty!” She then let go of his arm and started to push him from behind, like a big child trying to push a giant, but he was not budging for all her strength. ”Hey, Herc, let’s go!”

As she stood plagued by her own memories, a new one, one just before the destruction of Parkwood revealed itself, with an old fashioned kick. To the womb. Brooklyn placed a hand on her stomach and felt something kick. She was pregnant, she had meant to tell Andrew but then Lexi and her depression. The sudden return of her memories, flashing all at once. And then black.

Without thought, Markus had dropped to the floor to catch her. Protecting her head from colliding with the stone floor of the castle. He sat with her head on his lap and looked up to Ashley, awaiting further commands. He wasn't even sure if he was on the floor because of the jewel hung around his neck or the fact that it was Brooklyn, for all he hated her for betraying everyone, he wouldn't wish ill on her.
Ashley continued her conversation with Brooklyn, though she was not all that focused. The two of them used to be rather closed. When Ash was much younger, Brooke taught her how to dance. She was the only girl that Andrew dated that the dragoness had approved of. But Ashley lost touch with her after she was disowned by the family for what she did to Andrew. She was unsure if Brooke knew that it was Ashley that had briefly ripped her boyfriend away from him. Ash never expressed it out loud because she despised talking about it. That was the only kill that had been a complete accident. Something came over her and she still could not explain it. Ash felt as though Brooke was no longer bothered considering she never expressed hatred towards her. They had only even reconnected now because Brooke and Ashley had done the same thing. Betrayed their family. No one on the other side was talking to either of them right now. Or at least not to Ashley, she could not speak for the siren. The idea of her family was making her quite sad, though she can’t be any more miserable than she was.
Ashley knows what Victoria does when she is behind closed doors. The dragoness tried to pretend as though the demon’s unfaithfulness had not bothered her. But it did. Every time she knew about another partner Ashley’s heart broke even more. Because Ashley loved Victoria so much, she tried to look past it. Make an excuse for what she was doing. But Ashley was done making excuses and pretending to be happy. Ash wanted to leave. She wanted to leave the demon and go back to the only family member she knows that still loves her. She owes Andrew an apology, but she wasn’t quite sure anyone else would accept her at this point. Though she had Brooke, they were both on the same page. About going home to family. Ashley had practically forgotten she was talking to Brooke, as she wallowed in her misery.
She was only brought to reality when Brooke started to go pale. She was headed for the floor and Markus was quick to take action. Ashley wasn’t really sure what to do. She did not know what to do. This had never happened to her before. Having to take care of another person. But the banshee was looking to her for help. ”Pick her up. We need to get her to her room.” She demanded. The best thing they could do for her was get her somewhere comfortable where she could rest. Once Markus had her in hand, she lead him to him to her room.
