Ages ago, people worshiped and glorified a group of people in which they called, the Shi. Shi are a mystical group of humans with the ability to travel through, and manipulate, time.

Years fly by and people still believe in these powerful humans until, a Shi caught sight of the near future. A place of disaster and chaos. Horrified, the Shi sends a scribe to the Haratius Council. A small, yet powerful, group of Shi enrolled in keeping peace throughout the timeline. The message was sent, but it was already too late...The ruler of the Shi, Lord Zaman, opposed the realms. His outlook on his powers was that of world domination. No longer would he serve these powerless humans.

After that, the world erupts into chaos. Years later, Zamans reign still prevails but, the Haratius Council rises up and fights their ruler. The mighty battle lasts for months before Zaman is thrown into a powerless state. The Council immediately takes advantage of this moment and seals Lord Zaman away for eternity....

"...But not without him declaring that he would seek his revenge..." A hush fell over the group. The only sound that they could hear was the crackling of the campfire. A second passed by after the elder said his last sentence before a rustling could be heard in the woods behind them. All the kids turn their heads to look at the commotion before a giant shadowy figure bursts out of the woods screaming "Grrr I am Zaman! Face my wrath wretched humans!"

All of the kids scream and run in different directions, some running behind the now laughing elder. "Hahaha! Oh that story never gets old don't you all think!" The elder's head cocks to the left. His eyes looking at the shadowy figure that was doubled over, laughing. "Alright Marcus. You've had your fun..." The shadowy figure stops laughing and takes off his black cloak to reveal a teenage looking boy. "You know, it's impossible to scare you Papa..." Marcus says with a sigh before tossing the costume on the ground and sitting by the campfire.

The kids slowly start to calm down. Some giving a few punches and playful kicks at Marcus. Before long, everyone was sitting by the campfire once again. Some still wondering about that story they had just heard. "Papa? Do you know what happens to the Shi?" A little boy intervenes. "Yeah! And what ever happens to Zaman!?"

The elder chuckles. "Well...I've heard this story so many times...And each person tells it differently but from what I've heard, after witnessing Lord Zaman's power...People began to fear Shi and soon they were forgotten. Now nobody has ever even heard of the Shi, that is, unless you have listened to this story...And as for Lord Zaman...Well he hasn't reeked his revenge just yet." The youngest girl of the bunch frowns. "How sad..." The elder nods. "Yes yes...But do not worry. Shi live on to this day and not one has ever, or will ever, rebel again...Plus, if Zaman were to ever cause havoc, the Shi would protect us all..." The elder caught a glimpse of Marcus who rolled his eyes playfully.

"Yeah! The Shi are awesome!" The kids smile and nod in agreement before they all take off towards the campgrounds. One of the boys pulling on the dark cloak that Marcus had on earlier and was now pretending to be Zaman. "Well I guess I should be going..." Marcus sighs before leaving. The elder watches the kids play and he turns his head up toward the sky. His smile fades as he sees something abnormal cut through the sky. A sudden lapse in time that only Shi such as him could see. In the faint hush of the night, the elder hisses the very name that Shi despise.

"Zaman..."

This...Time period...It's so weak. Hahaha perfect! Hmm...I have to find a place where I won't have to worry about 'strength in numbers'...

The spirit turns his head toward a sign to his left that read, 'Point Hope, Alaska'. Hmm...I sense less authority here...Yes, this place will do...

With that said, the spirit makes his way toward the small town to start his disruption of the entire timeline.
