Introduction
You wake up isolated, in a blank white room. A hologram appears in front of you and says,
"You have been chosen to participate in a series of tests. Every other day you will be transported to a randomized battle zone along with multiple other test subjects. There will also be certain automated killing machines trying to destroy you. If you can make it to the end of the day then you get to go to the base. A place where you meet the other test subjects and can converse. You can do anything in the base except kill other players. If you kill a test subject in the kill zone then you will get immortality for the rest of the day. I will decide when the tests stop and the remaining subjects can leave."
Before you can ask any questions you are transported to a different area. An apocalyptic nightmare. A city in ruins. Burning buildings, smog, dust, and haze making it difficult to see. The only reason you can see anything is because of the flying aircraft's in the sky moving spot lights around the terrain. But then, the aircraft releases a box. When the box opens, robots come out. You know they're your enemy. They look simple, standing five foot and two shot guns for hands. A squirrel goes into the spot light of one of the air ships and thousands of bullets are shot from the airship, obliterating the animal.
The question arises:

"Pleasure to meet you. and your friends, Alex." Ashley said, doing her best not to stare at the ghosts. she doubted that being dead made them happy to be stared at. She watched Alex rush over to help the guy that had fallen. she crossed the small distance, and helped him to his feet. "Right. First things first. What do we know. 'Cos if we know stuff, we can do stuff. So, yeah. we have a bunch of robots we have to kill. Any suggestions?"
John rose unsteadily to his feet and tapped the tips of his fingers to the cut. He had been a little to crazy there, he took a deep breath and started to calm down, "Thanks.....Alex...." he took another long stare at the ghosts, "These ghosts are friendly," rang through his head, then focused his eyes somewhere else, he knew how weird it felt in that kind of situation. "Right," he nodded to Ashley, "Well we can't be the only ones out here. Our best chances of surviving would be to seek help," He shrugged as he sealed up the tiny cut in thee back of his head. "Have any of us searched? For, any, People? Or are they......" His expression was worried and terrified at the same time.
Lili watched as the man introduced himself as Adam. Taking a look at the wounded man, she tried to think of a way to explain her power. Helping the man sit, up she began to gesture to the other two she was with before. "We should get over to them," using her strength to help Adam balance, she helped him up.
"My power is called phasing. It's pretty simple really. I can vibrate my molecules fast enough so that I can go through objects. I can also make others phase, but that takes a lot out of me. The bullets were small, so it wasn't to hard." Dragging the metal pipe with her, she struggled under the man's weight.
"So Adam, how did you get here?"

Claire was still trying the get the other girl attention when Carig came up behind her. She was so focused in her task she did not even notice him. When he spoke she turned around startled by him. She took her familiar fighters stance ready to go toe-to-to with a robot when she realized he was human. She took a deep breathe glad he wasn't going to kill her. "Don't scare me like that." Only after that did Claire take a closer look at him and realize he was badly injured. She rushed over to him crouching low for cover. "Stay close to me and I'll get us out of here. Are you able to walk? What's your name? I'm Claire."

Lili wasn't very big, and she seemed to be struggling under his weight, so Adam shifted some of his balance off of her and onto it injured leg, ignoring the burn he started to feel around the wound from doing so.

Adam jerked a bit, the question bringing him back to reality. Where the hell are we? and how did we get here?.
"That's a good question, Lili", Adam muttered to her. "I seem to remember an ominous van, the door sliding open, then getting darted. Next thing I know, white walls, and then this.", he said, rubbing the place on his neck where the tranquilizer had hit him.
"Well, it's good to know I'm not the only thrust into this hellish situation..but what about you? How did you get here?".

How did you get here? Lili repeated that question in her mind, Adam's story seemed like he was just abducted from the street. Watching as Claire helped another man, she turned her attention toward the ground. "Well, mine isn't that bad," she tried to remember what happened.

Ashley shook her head. !About three seconds after I got here, I was tackling you. D'you think we should do a sweep of the perimeter? Jeez, I sound like my dad..." she said, rolling her shoulders. On the outside she appeared soldier-ish, almost like she dealt with this sort of thing routinely. But inside there was a fairly large part of her going 'WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING??' and banging it's head against the proverbial wall.
John thought heavily looking down to his legs, getting a bit distracted. He was more concerned about himself, but if he wanted to survive here he would need more people. His thoughts were running, if they did search they could get killed easily, maybe there was a shortcut they could use to their advantage, "Can't you just yell out to see if somebody is here?" he said jokingly to Ashley at first but then saw no downside and actually considered it. He shrugged a little and said, "Can you?"

"I'll.. I'm sure I'll be okay, just a few bruises I'm sure" Craig replied. The woman must still be on edge, why else would she instinctively get ready to fight him?
But then again, not like he could blame her, he was sure she must have had to deal with the robots like he had. There were 2 other people heading their way, a man and
the other woman. At least in a group they would survive this.. whatever this was.

Was is possible that these people had powers also? And if they did, then why were they all here, at the same time he was? The more he thought about it, the more he began to realise that is was the dark man who had asked him for a lighter that must have got him here, with these strangers.
"I'm Craig, what the hell are we going to do"

Ashley shook her head. "I can't make specific words. Only sounds." Then a thought smacked into her head. She couldn't phrase. but she could draw attention. She picked up a rock, testing the weight. "Cover your ears." she directed the guys, throwing the rock as hard and as high as she could, sending a short sonic blast after it. It exploded nicely. She did a thumbs up to tell them they could take away their hands. "We need paint."

"This is Adam." Lili introduced looking at the newcomer. Craig. As Claire was scanning the area, she set Adam down next to the other man. Swinging the pipe in her hands back and forth, she looked at the sky. The sun was setting, and the dirt has all but settled. It still felt as if it was suffocating her though. Looking towards the skyline of fallen buildings, she wondered if they should find refuge there. It would probably be easier though to stay here till everyone had time to heal up and rest.
"So, we fight," she said sitting, "but what about food? We're going to have to find something......" Lili started to make little designs in the dirt. This day was getting worse and worse, why couldn't they have dropped them off in a forest with real animals? What, that wasn't a big enough challenge.

"We survive Craig. We fight."Sure, that sounded simple enough to him, especially as now they were in a group, fighting the robots would become a LOT easier, but just managing to fight off robots wouldn't exactly guarantee that they would all live to see the end of this; whatever this was anyway. The woman with the other man, Lili, was definitely right; they needed food. They also needed shelter.
He saw her looking out towards the buildings, all destroyed now though. So they couldn't exactly go there, and this place they were now was too open, they wouldn't be able to hide if the robots came.
Suddenly there was a new memory. A sort of sign? A base, yes, he could definitely remember something about a base. And if he remembered that, then maybe it was the people who put them there. And maybe, just maybe, there was a safe place for them to stay. But he was sure they could figure that out later, for now they needed to simply get someone marginally safer. He scanned the nearby area, and for the first time he realised that they were in the middle of what looked like a warzone, had they done this? Then he saw something, it looked like an intact house, and he was sure he could even see a light on in one of the rooms, had to be worth investigating.
"Umm guys, could be seeing things, but do I see a light on in that house?"

She looked to the others. "Anyone could be in there. This seems more like a trap than anything else but then again it could be someone who really needs help. I don't trust it and rather not run the risk. I suggest you do the same but if you all want to go then I will of course go with you."

Maybe it was better to stay away for now, get to know each other and form a plan.
That made more sense for him. Besides, he was sure there would be more robots, it wasn't even dark yet, and if there was indeed a safe zone then it would make perfect sense that they should go there at night, rest eat and sleep.

Scanning the area, Ashley spotted a dented can of paint in the ruins of a house. "All right!" she grinned. this mess weas starting to look promising. "Guys, you're familiar with the concept of a flare, right? Little rocket, shoots pretty colors into the sky?" she swang the paint can slightly in one hand. "Only one problem with a flare. It can bring attention from the wrong sources. So When this thing explodes, we might have a couple of robots on our hands. are we willing to take that risk?"

However, silverpheonix I need you to edit yours... the robots don't have swords. They wouldn't be able to hold a sword because there hands are shotguns lol. You can however find a sword in an abandoned house or something...
Also destroying the robot won't be as easy as slicing it with a sword. I understand pulverizing rocks and supersound waves but not a sword. Unless the power was aiding the sword swipe.
Lastly, everyone keep writing good posts quantity and quality wise. Thank you ;)
