Introduction
"You have been chosen to participate in a series of tests. Every other day you will be transported to a randomized battle zone along with multiple other test subjects. There will also be certain automated killing machines trying to destroy you. If you can make it to the end of the day then you get to go to the base. A place where you meet the other test subjects and can converse. You can do anything in the base except kill other players. If you kill a test subject in the kill zone then you will get immortality for the rest of the day. I will decide when the tests stop and the remaining subjects can leave."
Before you can ask any questions you are transported to a different area. An apocalyptic nightmare. A city in ruins. Burning buildings, smog, dust, and haze making it difficult to see. The only reason you can see anything is because of the flying aircraft's in the sky moving spot lights around the terrain. But then, the aircraft releases a box. When the box opens, robots come out. You know they're your enemy. They look simple, standing five foot and two shot guns for hands. A squirrel goes into the spot light of one of the air ships and thousands of bullets are shot from the airship, obliterating the animal.
The question arises:
"What will you do?"

The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 9 authors

Stopping to catch her breath, Lili listened carefully. A buzzing noise? Squinting her eyes, she watched as a small robot was in the tunnels. If she didn't move it'd see her soon! Gathering all her energy, she began to phase through the wall, just in time to pull herself on the other side before the robot saw her.

First things first. She thought bringing her foot up and slamming it into the ground. The earth broke under her feet and two boulders jetisoned out of the ground into the robots, destroying them instantly. Claire crouched and moved behind an old building for cover. She looked out over her surroundings trying to decide her next step.
After a few minutes only four ghosts came back...
The ghosts reverted to their more human-esque spirit forms. Alex's eyes began to tear up. "Where's every one else?" He asked pleadingly. "They didn't make it, they died protecting us from robots," Lily, his very first companion stated. She was a kind and carefree person. When her eyes swelled with tears it made Alex feel worse. Another ghost stepped forward "We can't let their sacrifice go in vain, we must survive at least for today," it was Ken, the second ghost who joined Alex. He was responsible and strict but still a kind person. "You're right Ken." Alex said. "So, what information have you gathered. "There are approximately 30 robots left un-destroyed. We also noticed three humans who could assist us, two of them are in a pair" Sadie, an intelligent and shy girl who was fourth to join the group. "I think we should team up with the two of them, and then meet up with the third! We'd be the best team ever!" Said Felix, an energetic up-beat kid who was third to join the group. "O-o-o-okay..." Alex said shakily trying to mask his fear. He had to have people to help them. He couldn't let any one else die.
So, the four ghosts led Alex past the robots and over to the two people. One was female, the other a male. The man had a gun wound on his shoulder. That wound would have to be treated properly or he could get an infection. Alex walked up to him with his hands up, his ghosts standing behind ready for a signal to attack, just in case. "He-hellooo" Alex said uncomfortably. "I-I would like to help you..." He said, waiting for a response.
If she were to pinch herself, would she wake up and see she was dreaming? No such luck. Gathering her senses, she headed out. The air thick and made it hard to breath, but her lungs were already crappy due to second-hand-smoking, so this she could at least deal with. As a gust of wind came on, she looked for any sign of human life. Watching as a woman, maybe older than her, run towards a safe building, she felt compelled to go after her. The more people the merrier.

One moment he was in a white room that smelled of metal and cleaning alcohol, and the next he was in a battlefield. Adam heard metallic clanking behind him, and he turned around in time to see a shotgun barrel from a robot arm being pointed at him. Through instinct, Adam managed to quickly bring his hand up, his palm facing the barrel which was about ten yards away before it fired. Adam imagined a stonewall between him and the shell from the shotgun, using his will power to project it in front of his hand. What happened next would probably boggle most minds. The pellets from the shell seemed to have struck something, bouncing away from Adam and sparking as the air in front of Adam's hand shimmered.
The Robot seemed to not care at all, simply raising it's other shotgun hand at the man in front of it. Adam brought his other hand back, clenched his fist and lunged towards the robot, punching out as hard as he could as he made another effort of will, and even though he was still a good 5 yards away, the robot acted a though it was struck by a moving car, flying back several yards, it's torso crushed inward.
Adam stared at the Robots corpse for a few seconds, then noticed more of them were on their way. He quickly looked at his surroundings for any bit of cover he could take refuge in, and thats when he spotted a random house a good distance away.
Adam gauged the distance between himself and the robots and decided as the rate they were moving he could create a lot of distance between himself and them if he sprinted the whole way.
And with that, he took off for the house.

"I'm fine, no need to apologize," she said giving a small smile. "I'm Lili by the way. You?" She felt that there should be a fallow up question, like 'And do you know why we're here?' but that would be a bit odd because she got over her initial panic, right now she just wanted to find a place to hide and sleep.
"Do you know where we are?" Okay, not exactly the thing she wanted to say, but close enough.
Claire looked out from behind the wall to her surroundings. She didn't see ant robots near or for that matter any othe people. She turned to Lili. "You haven't seen anyone else have you? Your the first person I've ran into."
"Sorry, but you're the first person I've meet too. I really wanted to know how we ended up here." sighing, she shrugged her shoulders. How she could stay so calm was beyond her, but it was obvious that they needed to find shelter. "We should find shelter, far away from those robots as possible. Kay? So," she scanned the area that was visible. There were many broken down houses and it seems like this place was once an suburban area. And with that in mind, she wondered if there was a broken down city. "We should be careful though, We don't want anyone fainting."
As she got up, she looked towards Claire. "We should find something to fight back with, as to not use your power so much. Sorry I can't help, I can only phase through things." As an example, she started to phase her hand through the thick stone wall.
She stepped out from behind he wall she had made but stopped when saw something out of the corner of her eye. She saw another girl not to far away who had just used a boulder to destroy a robot. Could there be another earth mover like me here? She wondered. She waved to Lili to follow her and quickly made her way over to the girl who looked like she was going to callapse. Claire hid behind some rubble for cover and tried to catch the girl's attention. "Hey! Over here!" She said in a lower voice.

The Robot, now a misshapen hulk, collapsed to the ground. Adam struggled to his feet, trying to keep his weight off of his injured leg.
"Hey!", he yelled at the three figures (Aizen, Clair and Lili, in case there is any confusion XD ) "Over here!", he continued as he limped towards them, hoping they would hear him.
There were a few classes she took if someone got hurt, it showed how to treat a bullet wound, but the best she could do was try and stop the bleeding. Focusing all her energy into her hand, she started to aim for the bullet in his leg. It seemed a bit rude to invade a person without even knowing their name, but this wasn't the time to be polite. Moving quickly, she grabbed the shining metal and made it so it would phase out also. She used to do this all the time if she got a bad splinter. As the bullet was finally disloged, she gave a wavering smile.
"Sorry if it felt weird or hurt. The best I can do is stop the bleeding now," ripping off a part of her long sleeved shirt, she tied it tight against the wound. "What's your name? I'm Lili."

He had fought back, even managed to get a few of them. All he had to do was think of was a giant fireball and hey presto... they were suddenly engulfed.
That much was easy, but it was that smaller, faster robot that really got him. He just couldn't hit it. He tried, he really did. He shot stream after stream of molten fire at it, but no matter what, it ducked and weaved it's way out of danger. So he ran. He ran faster than before, he was desperate.
That was when the building got hit. It got hit hard.
He was running through the streets, it looked suburban, but that didn't matter the littlest bit. He ran across what might have once been a lawn, but was now nothing but charred earth and a rusty old swing set.
He ducked out of the way of a large blast that probably could have torn his shoulder off, but then it was the second blast that messed the whole situation up. It hit the house, spot on. All he heard was an extremely loud blast, and the next thing he knew there were bricks and huge chunks of timber flying at him. He got hit by one piece, and immediately tried to erect a fire shield around him, and it lasted, but not long enough.
Now he was awake, and he was sure he must be under a hell load of rubble. There were voices, none that he recognised, but voices all the same, he could hear a woman, a name that he didn't quite catch, sounded like Claire? With all the power left in him, he expelled as much heat as he could, burning away the wood, dislodging the bricks, and before he knew it he could see the sky.
He tried to stand, but the pain in his left leg was too fierce, so he crawled toward a woman, but there were another two.
"Than you god" he muttered under his breath, and he only just managed to rasp "Hey" to the woman with dark hair, who he guessed must have been Claire..

Eyes were on Alex... it was hard enough to talk to living people, but having their eyes on you just made it so much worse. They stared at him as if he was a freak. What if that was true? No, he couldn't think about himself at the moment he had to take action. When he finally snapped out of his deep trance a large chunk of timber and rubble was crashing towards Alex. A large scream rang out saving him just in time. He ducked to the ground and covered his ears while his ghosts protected him. When everything was done Alex's ears were ringing. "Tha-thank you for saving me!" He said happily. 'Why would some body actually care about him enough to save him?' He thought. "I'm sorry if you asked what my name was before but I'm Alex, and-and don't worry these ghosts are friendly," Alex stated sheepishly. Then he noticed that the boy had hit his head on a stone. He rushed over asking if he was okay reluctantly. He couldn't tell if he was going to have a concussion or not but his ghosts were standing by in case their assistance was needed.
Jude
Jude was stuck in the basement reading his tarot cards to try and get some insight on how to survive through this war. Things were very hazy in this region for some reason. It was most likely because he was panicking and couldn't formulate a plan. Small pieces of debris occasionally fell to the floor. The quantity and quality of debris progressed. Jude could hear loud bangs coming from the outside but he decided to ignore it. However, after what seemed like hours the whole ceiling came down. There were three robots surrounding him. They had been trying to get to him for a while. Dust was spreading everywhere so he used that to his advantage and started running. He found a flare gun, the basement must have been a bunker. He shot one of them with a flare and started running. It looked as though the flare did good damage so he shot the robot with another and it was on the ground. He only had one left so he ran up the stairs. Just as he got outside he was shot in the leg. In desperation he shot another flare, he remembered the card saying something about people coming to rescue him...he hoped it was right.

"Sorry if it felt weird or hurt. The best I can do is stop the bleeding now,", she said giving him a slight smile."What's your name? I'm Lili."
"Adam, Adam Fletcher", he responded. "How did you do that?", he asked, still staring at the place where the bullet had been.

Re: [OOC] Survive.
Re: [OOC] Survive.
However, silverpheonix I need you to edit yours... the robots don't have swords. They wouldn't be able to hold a sword because there hands are shotguns lol. You can however find a sword in an abandoned house or something...
Also destroying the robot won't be as easy as slicing it with a sword. I understand pulverizing rocks and supersound waves but not a sword. Unless the power was aiding the sword swipe.
Lastly, everyone keep writing good posts quantity and quality wise. Thank you ;)
