:Personality:

Vincent, better known as Alba, is a sadistic manipulative man. He enjoys toying with the emotions of humans but rarely does he kill for the hell of it. While he is easily capable of killing off a human he prefers to keep his hands clean. In his eyes, 'humans are nothing more than chess pieces, more specifically pawns, created for [his] entertainment'. He does not hate humans but he is not fond of them either. He simply finds them, mainly their emotions and action, amusing. Image

When it comes to the Lycans he has mixed feelings. He believes that they are animals, boring, and a waste of space... however he also finds them intriguing. Usually, if he comes across one, he would resort to taunting them and would only kill if he is attacked first or if he was ordered to kill it.

Image
He does not see anyone as a 'worthy opponent' because he believes that there is no one stronger than him. His narcissism is usually what gets him in tough situations and it is a wonder to many vampires as to how he is still alive. Usually his twin sister is the one who keeps him alive.

Alba sneaks out at night to go into the human's territory just for fun. He enjoys drinking while observing humans mingling and recently has been looking for a new... toy.

:History:

Clarissa and Alba were born to the extremely prestigious Vasiliev family many years ago. While Vincent has grown up being groomed to one day take over the throne, they both know it's incredibly unlikely that their father will ever step down. In vampire years, the old man is still quite young.

The twins have always had darker complexities to them, while Victor always showed it in a more seemly eccentric way, Clarissa was always too eerily quiet. She's rarely ever known to smile or do much except for glare at people with her unnerving, gray eyes. She sticks to the shadows and occasionally people tend to forget she's in a room.

Younger Vincent
Image

Although outwardly Alba is a cold hearted bastard who only shows emotions when intrigued, he also has a caring side. That side he has only shown to his sister and his mother.

Vincent is not a fan of pets/freshies because he hates responsibility. There were many given to him before but he would usually drink them dry or send them off to another royal vampire family. There was a rumor started by the maids at the castle that he once fell in love with one but that he found out that his pet was giving blood to another and thus, in rage, killed her. Vincent denied it stating that "only fools fall in love". Alba also stated that he would never kill someone so brutally over such a petty problem. Soon after the suspect changed to Clarissa. Many whispered that she was the killer. That Clarissa had been jealous of the time that Alba spent with his pet and that she was the one who assassinated the young woman. The murderer was never found and no one truly bothered to investigate since it was simply the death of a pet.

Alba does not truly hate anyone, save for his father who forces responsibility upon him, however he is close to very few people. The only person he truly trusts and loves is his twin sister. Even as children they were often seen holding hands while quietly observing everyone. The two were left alone the majority of the time since their parents were, and still are, very busy. The maids and butlers who work at the castle feared the kids. There was a rumor started that if the twins were ever sighted at night, holdings hands, someone dear to that person would die a horrible death. This was usually true.

That earned them a nickname: "The Children of the Reaper".

Clarissa, however, is very close to her twin brother. She claims they share a soul and a connection much stronger than that of even a lycan and his beta. She always seems to know when he's going to get himself into trouble and exactly how to pull him out of it.

"Is it just me or are these humans become less and less fun to hunt?" A tall man dressed whispered.

He had been bored back at the castle and decided to sneak out. As always there had been maids who begged and begged him not to leave because his father would blah blah and blah. He just could not stand being stuck in that prison another second. Why humans, especially the females, believed that castles were romantically and heavenly was beyond his understanding. As a child he found the castle and its secrets very interesting but as time passed... the breathtakingly beautiful castle had become a cold prison.

And how he loathed cold temperature.

Winter.

Winter was absolutely horrible. The music was simply repetitive nonsense, the humans refused to come out, and it was awfully hard to stay hidden. No music, the food, and being stuck in the damn castle. During that time he was usually the cruelest. He was quick to anger and that... well that was rare. He wasn't the type of man who could easily be angered. There had even be times when he would snap at his younger sister.

Of course he stopped once she agreed to let him sleep with her doing the Winter days.

The man sighed and shook his head, trying to clear his mind of those thoughts. "Maybe I'll go check out the humans..." Alba whispered softly as he kicked the corpse with his foot.

He didn't even budge at the sound of heavy footsteps approaching him nor did he blink when an ax came swinging fast and strong to his neck. The ax did nothing. Vincent had more than enough time to harden his skin.

"Y-You're... you're suppose to-"

"Yes yes I know." Vincent turned around after pushing the ax away from his neck. "I'm suppose to be laying on the ground, head chopped off and blood spewing everywhere. You humans and your fairy tales..." He raised his right hand, claws extended to the fullest. "I'll give you a head start."

"Vincent, must you always torture everyone?"

The voice came soft and sweet, like the snow falling silently against the ground, or a shadow creeping around the corner. Clarissa Vasiliev always sounded that way, soft and quiet. She looked more like the snow on the ground than anything that resembled an almost-human being. She was starkly pale white, with silver flowing hair down below her waist, and unnerving gray eyes that reminded people of smoke clearing destruction.

She often appeared out of nowhere, as silent as death itself. It was a little early for them to be up, the sun was still in the sky. But the thick trees overhead gave them the protection they needed. Clarissa, who was always seen wearing black clothing, had a flowing shawl over her head, one that blended into her dress, and a dress that blended into the shadows always constantly moving at her feet. She held them close, always uncomfortable when the sun was up.

She, unlike her brother, loved the winter, and walked around the trees in a slowly, hypnotic fashion as her dangerously long, black nails traveled across tree bark. She had a different tent to her skin compared to the white snow, an almost blue sheen that made her look like a walking corpse rather than a technically living vampire. Not that she minded either way.

Of course, she had known the moment he left the castle. Never one to sleep much herself, she'd heard the commotion from downstairs when he disappeared. Bored as she had been, and sure he would find trouble, she'd followed. She stopped walking as soon as her feet touched the ax Alba had thrown to the ground, and she squatted in a perfectly ladylike manner to wipe her finger over the blood across the blade before sticking it in her mouth.

She tilted her head in an oddly eerie way as she raised her eyes to her twin. "Can I play?"

Vincent looked away from his prey, not at all surprised when the frightened man ran off. A small smile appeared on his face as he looked down at his beautiful sister. "I don't think that's very ladylike..."

Clarissa was good at blending in with the shadows. She was as fast as a flea, as graceful as a swan, sneaky like a fox, and light as a feather. A deadly woman. She was good that he hadn't realized that she was following him until he was halfway to his destination. When he did notice her he doubted that it was his skills that made him aware of her appearance. She more than likely allowed herself to be seen.

That bothered him. He didn't like being second best at anything. Stealth was just... her thing. For now. He was secretly training every morning in the forest to learn to become like her. After so many centuries... he was still second best.

"Father refuses to leave me be." He snapped when her first comment sunk in. "I hate it. It's awful. No one deserves to be happy if I cannot be happy." He looked down at the limbs thrown about. Maybe he had taken it just a little too far. Not that his sister gave a crap about the dead... hell she didn't even care about the livings. Everything was about her.

He understood though. He was, afterall, much like her.

Alba sighed heavily and looked back towards the direction that the human had run off to. It was a dead end anyway. "Have at it. I'm already bored with killing. I'll wait here."

Clarissa Vasiliev

"I don't think you'd know a lady if she slapped you across the face," Clarissa whispered, tone soft as always. She rose to her feet with a gracefulness that only a vampire could achieve, a small, rare smile barely tugging at the sides of her perfect lips.

The smile didn't last long though, before her eyes were gazing through the trees where the human had disappeared. "You have to make everyone just as miserable as yourself." It was phrased as a question, but she obviously didn't mean it that way. More as a realization that backed up the words he had just said himself.

She smiled as he gave her his toy and stepped over to place one, long fingernail under his chin and pull him close to brush a kiss across his cheek. It was a movement few men ever lived from, except for her brother. "I'll be back soon," she mused softly before she was suddenly gone, blending in with the dark shadows the trees cast.

Didn't know a lady if she-

Hell a woman wouldn't get close enough to slap him. Of course his sister was the exception. When they were younger Clarissa would slap him every time he would call her a cow. The first time he called her a fat cow was simply because he had been fed up with her taking everything that belonged to him. She had let him off with a warning. The second time he called her a fat cow was because she literally kicked him out during a Winter night. That time Clarissa picked him up and threw him a good eight hundred feet away and locked the castle down.

His parents told him to man up and told his sister not to do it again. That's when the slapping began. He hated how fast she was. She would be perfectly calm, eyes showing no emotions, and then out of nowhere... slap! A small quick pale hand would strike his cheek. It stung. The nails... Clarissa used them to her advantage.

Miserable? He frowned down at his little big sister. He wasn't miserable... just angry... and frustrated... and bored. Mainly bored. How could it be wrong for him to wish everyone to feel the same as him?

Vincent took a step back and released a small snarl in warning when Clarissa touched him. He was somewhat upset with her... why? Well... it was normal for him to be upset with his little big sister for no reason. The kiss calmed the beast within and he soon found himself alone. Alba sighed and kicked a pebble as he dug his hands into his pockets and gracefully jumped onto one of the tree branches above. The second he landed on the tree branch, he kicked off, and headed towards the castle.

Clarissa could catch up.

Molten gold eyes watched in boredom as yet another little frail animal appeared in the clearing.

Lets see... two rabbits, one deer, a moose, four squirrels... and now yet another rabbit. Alba thought to himself. This rabbit was different from the others. The first two rabbits had snow white fur and red eyes.

This one... the rabbit before his eyes now had snow white fur and red eyes just like the others but... the intensity of its eyes were completely different. They seemed... soft. The rabbit's eyes reminded him of a red river but then... his eyes would change whenever he'd hear a sound. It was if the bloody river would stop flowing and immediately freeze over. That's when the eyes would become really beautiful. Those eyes installed fear.

It was as if the eyes of the rabbit could see into one's soul... and that... that made Vincent shiver in excitement. He glanced over his shoulder, feeling his sister coming closer. Was she done already? Well... she would probably be upset.

He shrugged, not really worried for his sister. She could easily find something else to entertain herself with.

"Today is your lucky day rabbit... you get to become my pet." Alba whispered as he looked down at the animal's shadow. Since Clarissa was close he could borrow a bit of her special abilities. Sure she would notice it as always and of course she would feel a little drain but... she had a pet to feed from.

He watched as the shadow came to life slowly. It was like looking into a mirror for the small rabbit... except that his reflection watch completely black save for the silver outline. The original rabbit became startled once he noticed his twin. It tried to run but the shadow was much too quick. Alba watched in silence as the shadow leapt onto the startled rabbit and quickly engulfed it.

Vincent stopped draining his sister's abilities as he jumped down, gracefully landing. The shadow began to disappear. "I was gentle with it..." He crouched down next to it and smiled once he could hear its heartbeat. It was faint but it was there.

Alba could use his sister's abilities but only in nonfatal ways. Clarissa used it to pass through solid objects, assassinate, copy others, scare, and probably a dozen more ways. He could only use it to scare, pass through solid objects, and mimic others. He carefully picked up the rabbit.

"Now that I have a pet... maybe Father would stop pestering me about how every royal child needs one."

"What're they doing here?" Vincent said to his sister through telepathy.

He was slowly making his way towards his little sister. Sure she was older than him by a few minutes but... her height made him call her little sister. The scent of the Lycans had barely hit him. He had been so distracted by boredom and then later by the rabbit that he hadn't really been focused on anything.

When the scent reached him however... his main concern had turned to his sister. They were both purebloods which meant they were more than capable of protecting themselves but... he still worried for Clarissa. She was, afterall, one of the very few people he got a long with and the only person he actually liked. He hated his father and... well... he liked his mother but she didn't count as people he liked.

She was a very likable woman afterall. Many people believed that all vampires were all heartless creatures but his mother was a gentle one. She was always smiling, always caring, and above all... she was loyal and honest.

He shook his head. Neither he nor Clarissa had come out like his mother. He was seen as the more tolerable one... least dangerous one...

Which was true as long as he was entertained and never bothered.

"Why are there Lycans so close to us?!" Vincent shouted.

Hopefully that'd be good enough to scare them off. Even if they decided to step on over into their territory... he was sure he could take them out. There was no one he could not defeat.

Clarissa didn't answer her brother. She knew she didn't have to, if she didn't know the answer herself. She could only use telepathy with him anyway, wasn't like she could read lycan minds or anything,

She snickered softly as he shouted his question. He was doing it on purpose. They could talk together in octaves too low for humans to even hear, but Vincent was taunting them. Surprise, surprise.

Apparently, from what she could so easily overhear, these certain lycan's had a problem with their kind. She could tell one was very clearly trying to calm down the other. Her head tilted slightly.

"Sounds like revenge, brother dearest. Did you hear that?" she asked even though she could hear them, but she was talking in barely a whisper. Her face split into a grin as a new person suddenly arrived. A woman. Weeping.

"Desten, lets let the woman grieve."

If possible, Clarissa smiled even more and slowly opened her hand at her sides. The shadows crawled across the dark forest floor, slowly and ominously until they stretched just beyond the forest line, gathering under the corpse. She closed her fist and they snapped around his limbs like veins.

With one fluid jerk, the humans body suddenly disappeared back into the forest with a quickness that made the woman scream and try to jump forward and catch him, to keep him with her.

The first thing that ran threw Desten's mind was to charge where the voice came from, but his cousin's quick reassurance made him think twice. He could make out the conversation between the vampires and learned that there where only two different voices. One a man and another sounded like a young woman. He didn't much care for how Lucius has bluntly said that it wasn't part of there plan but form the sounds of the vampires conversation, "Sounds like revenge, brother dearest. Did you hear that?" it seemed like they really didn't know just who they really were which could play into there favor.

Desten's train of thought was rudely interrupted as the body of the man was suddenly jerked off but before he lost sight of it he moved his hand up faster than the human eye could fully see and sent a small flame on the mans cloths setting the body ablaze and burning it to ashes in seconds. "You shall not desecrate that body any further with your childish actions." he said in a low voice just loud enough so that the vampires would hear it. The fire quickly caught a few trees next to body setting a small fire off. He took one last look in the direction he knew the vampires were in and then turned back to his cousin who was trying to argue with the grieving woman.

'We will get her out of here first, then think of what to do next,' he said threw thought to Lucius. Desten bent down and looked at the woman in the face changing his eyes so that the woman would be scared and faint. Desten stood up and called over a medic that was near. "Sir can you help this woman has gone into shock at the sight of her departed husband and the body being pulled into the woods. Can you please help us get her to a safe place?" He said in a voice mimicking a sound of panic.

As the medic helped show Lucius where to take the mother, Desten looked over his shoulder one more time and gave a faint smile then turned back around and ran after them.

Vincent frowned, hands in his pockets, as he watched the fire. He actually had a plan to kill the rest of his boredom off but since the body was engulfed in flames...

With a small sigh and an arched eyebrow, Vincent borrowed some of his older sister's abilities. More specifically her shadow manipulation. He watched as his shadow walked through him in a sluggish manner before dropping over the corpse. The flames began to die down almost immediately. The young vampire walked over to the corpse and scrunched his nose slightly at the awful smell. Another reason why he didn't like burning corpses.

His molten gold eyes slid off the man's and up towards were the Lycans were. He could feel one of them looking at them. He didn't like that feeling. Not at all.

He looked away when he felt them leave... surely they would return. Perhaps not in the same day but... something was off. He would need to inform his Father later on. "Clarissa..." The male vampire said in a whisper as he crouched down.

He sunk his right hand into the corpse and searched around until he felt something hard. He wrapped his clawed hand around the object and yanked it out, sighing at the loud crack and the piece of... whatever that flew out and landed on his cheek. With his left hand he flicked the meat off and then stood. "Bone."

Vincent had another plan. Normally he would've just shrugged off the event but... this time it was different. Humans knew very well that anyone who entered the forest were prey in the eyes of vampires. They, the vampires, had done nothing wrong. Whatever reason that the human had for entering the forest did not matter to the vampires. If he wanted to speak he should have spoken to one of the human royals in order to arrange a proper meeting. There were rules that had to be followed and when they weren't... consequences followed one's actions.

"I can use your shadow manipulation to transform into the deceased male. This bone should give me enough information to perfectly mimic his appearance. His voice would be easy as well. The memory on the other hand... not so easily. If the whole body had not been burnt..." He shook his head. "Well, there's not reason to think about the impossible."

"Now, I was thinking that you could lure the woman out towards the forest once more. You could use your shadow manipulation to copy the man's shadow. If you're able to do that then you could easily lure her out. Just make sure that she only sees glimpses of the shadow. Since she's grieving I'm sure she won't think logically and easily follow." Alba spoke carefully, as if still thinking everything through.

"Seems like a good plan." He whispered as he tossed the bone to his sister.

There were many that believed that he wasn't smart. That was a great understatement. He was very smart... but he hated responsibility. If people found out about his intelligence then they would not stop pestering him. He only showed his smart side to his sister. "This could have all been avoided but they just had to burn the body..." He stretched his arms above his head.

"It's nighttime... but I believe that everyone would be keeping a close eye on the woman." He muttered as he rubbed the back of his neck. "Maybe I should go after the kids... I'll still have to use that shadow manipulation of yours though. Only because of the contract between vampires and humans. I won't be able to just storm in there and kidnap the kids. Well... that and... I like messing with people. Those poor children will crawl into my arms thinking that their dear Father is still alive..."

Vincent chuckled after picking up his rabbit. "What do you want to do?" He asked his sister as he began petting his pet.

Clarissa pouted the moment flames appeared on the mans body. She looked like a little girl then with how petite she was, but she was anything but. She wasn't going to 'desecrate' the body, just keep it from the human. Lycans, always ruining her fun.

She sighed and let Vincent borrow her talents without stopping him, but with her having the majority of the power she covered the trees that had caught fire as well. Vampires feared fire for obvious reasons, no need to send a panic.

Clarissa looked over at her brother when he said her name, obvious boredom written all over her features. Still, she listened to his words, even caught the bone when he tossed it over. It was nighttime, and very dark, so she was at full power—even Vincent could borrow a considerable amount from her without draining her.

She sighed softly as she dropped down from her tree, the very bottom half of her body never quite showing through the shadows. She just kind of mended. “I say wait. See if they come back here first. Grief brings people to do terrible things.” Her voice eased out like smooth velvet, never quite getting loud enough for anyone to hear. Save the lycans.

Her eyes snapped back towards the clearing for a moment, thinking about them. “No need to antagonize them, Alba...” of course, even though she said the words smoothly, it wasn't really possible to tell if she was being sarcastic or not. Regardless, she looked back at twin with an arched eyebrow.

“What is that,” she asked, clearly meaning the rabbit.

"Well... you know best." He whispered as he buried his nose into the rabbit's fur. The small animal's nose twitched at the odd sensation but other than that, remained still.

He didn't like orders either... nor did he like following the plans of others. However... Clarissa was usually the one that ended up saving his ass. If he went against her he could either get himself killed or worse... getting a beating from his older sister. Sure she appeared to be nothing more than a small fragile innocent young girl but when she was angered?

Ha! He'd much rather get a beating from his father.

"Huh? Ah... This is Rabbit." He lifted the rabbit up and nearly shoved him in his big sister's face.

Everyone knew that he was horrible with giving animals nicknames. Usually a dog's nickname would be Dog, a cat would be Cat, and so on. He placed the slightly scared rabbit on his shoulder and smiled. "Rabbit will help me get Father off my back. I'm tired of him telling me that I need a pet. Well... now I've finally got one." He softly petted Rabbit.

"By the way... have you fed your pet today?"

Clarissa snickered slightly. Leave it to her brother to name an animal by it's proper name. Rabbit. He never was the most creative one on the block. Everything had always been what it was. Once, many years, he'd been strapped with a young boy as a pet who hadn't come with a name. Vincent called him 'boy'.

Thankfully that relationship only lasted for about a week before some other vampire caught sight of him and offered a large sum of money to own the human instead. Their father had grudgingly agreed, but Clarissa knew it was for the best.

She reached up to scratch the animal ever so gently between the ears. For someone who had just maimed and killed a man, she was awfully sweet to the tiny, furry creature. "He seems to fit you," she mused softly.

Then he asked her a question that made her blink. "I don't have..." Oh. Right. The human girl. Not an animal.

Clarissa sighed in distaste and took her brothers hand as she began walking through the forest and back towards the castle. "No," she murmured. "I don't think I did yesterday either...now would probably be a good time to do so."

She was terrible about remembering the young girl they kept. Clarissa had never really been one for pets either. "I heard there's going to be a party tonight," she mumbled. "Later. The fun kind, one you might actually be interested in going to."

She was only making conversation. Something she only ever did with Vincent, preferring not to talk to most people. She liked parties, especially the ones that were held by the lower royalty vampires. It was a good time to cut loose and bathe in the darkness.

When they made it back inside, she sighed as though she was being burdened with a great task, and went to the kitchen to grab some food for her pet. All things considering, Feronia usually ended up with a pretty fair meal. Because Clarissa never wanted to take the time to actually make anything, there were lots of fruits and vegetables. They had bread and a couple of thin meats that smelled fresh, so she threw a couple of them on the plate too. It was a heftier meal, because she wasn't sure when she had last fed her pet.

"Feronia," she called, her icy voice sliding with disinterest. She twisted the lock on the door and walked inside, dropping the plate on the ground just carefully enough not to break the glass. "Eat."

Clarissa crossed her thin pale arms over her chest as she stared down at her pet. The smallest of smiles tugged at her lips. How she loved being called mistress. Everything belonged in it's rightful place, and Clarissa was definitely in hers.

She was hungry, oddly, given how much she had just played. She figured it was less about needing an actual meal and more about just wanting to drink. Feronia's blood was very sweet, and she enjoyed drinking it. Unfortunately, she also forgot to give the girl enough food to actually normally eat off of her.

Without a word, but a very distressed sigh, she left the room and shut the door behind her. She didn't lock it that time. Sometimes, Clarissa didn't mind letting Feronia out of the room--but the pet knew better than to get on any of the furniture.

"Alba," she whined softly, wrapping her arms around her twin from behind. "Let's go out. It's been so long..."

Vincent waited patiently outside the room. He could be patient... about certain things. When it came down to Clarissa he was very patient. Unless... he was trying to get his way and Clarissa refused to give in. She was a very stubborn woman. He loved that side of hers two. It made her more beautiful than she already was... but of course she paled in comparison to him. He was, afterall, the most beautiful creature on the planet.

He felt her arms. She was so gentle with him...

"Out?..." He frowned as he recalled the other times that she had wanted to go out. They usually ended up with disgusting and boring fancy parties. Everyone kissing everyone's ass, heavy perfume and cologne, and small portions of food. The only thing that was good was the alcohol. Very good... and free. But he still did not want to go anywhere near one of those events...

He would much rather strip down and go sunbathing. "Clarissa..." He said in a warning tone. "I don't want to wear any of those hideous outfits. They're either too tight, too bright or too... hideous. Very hideous. I do owe you though... but then again you owe me for covering for you that time..."

After freeing himself from his older sister, he turned around and looked down at her with a small smile. "Feed the girl first. I mean really feed the girl. Before you start whining, it's a win-win situation. Her blood will taste better and she will be happier." He walked into the small area and chuckled. "How's my favorite girl?" He placed the rabbit on the ground, crouched in front of the young girl and smiled sweetly.

"I'm going to make sure you get plenty of food... I might even take you outside in the future. All I want you to do is to take care of Rabbit. He's really special to me okay? And... if anything bad happens to him..." He leaned forward until his lips were next to her ear. "I will drink you dry..." He leaned back slowly, sweet smile still in place.

"I'm sure you will be able to take care of her right?" He licked his left fang carefully as he stood. "Goodbye little fairy." He whispered as he walked out, and closed the door behind him. "She's gotten much cuter... maybe I should visit her more often..." He whispered.

Feronia stopped eating as Vincent approached. "How's my favorite girl?" Feronia smiled softly looking Vincent in the eyes as a sign of respect. "I'm going to make sure you get plenty of food... I might even take you outside in the future. All I want you to do is to take care of Rabbit. He's really special to me okay?" Vincent's words were kind and brought hope to Feronia's heart. The hope was quickly replaced with fear as Vincent finished his thought. "And... if anything bad happens to him..." He leaned forward until his lips were next to her ear. "I will drink you dry..." A chill went up Feronia's spine and tears filled her eyes at the promise that if she messed up he'd put an end to her insignificant life. Feronia, held herself looking up at Vincent she knew she had to do her best to keep his new pet alive and well. She nodded up to him as her eyes fell to the white rabbit at her bare feet.

"Goodbye little fairy." Vincent whispered Feronia loved that nickname he'd given her it made her feel some what important. Vincent had become the kindest person in her life in a matter of moments. His promise to take care of her and the possibility of being able to venture outside of the castle walls was all that it took. Feronia, would do anything he wanted if he kept his promise to make sure she never went unfed. Of course a blanket to stay warm and proper clothing would be nice as well but at least now she wasn't lonely and her life held purpose.

Feronia, picked up one of the apples and bit off a piece she pulled it from her lips she placed the bite of apple on the floor for the rabbit and went back to eating her dried meat. The rabbit was very jumpy at first and hopped to the other side of the room. The sweet aroma of the apple filled the room. The rabbit's nose twitched smelling the sweet air. It slowly made it's way over to the bite of apple sitting on the stone floor. Feronia tried her best to act as if she was ignoring the rabbit.

After a long while the rabbit had eaten the bite and was looking around for more. Feronia, slowly picked the apple back up and bit into it. As her teeth pierced the red flesh of the apple it popped as it was forced to relinquish a part of it's self. The sudden noise caused the rabbit to hop back over to the other side of the room fear in it's little eyes and it's body breathing quickly as it's heart raced. Feronia, did as she had before and set the apple on the floor for the rabbit. She felt badly for scaring the little thing but she couldn't help it.

Clarissa sighed in disinterest as she watched her brother with her pet. He had always been better with Feronia than she had. Really, it was all thanks to Vincent that the girl was alive. "Perhaps you should," she mused, her voice as velvety as ever as her fingers slid between the cloth of her dress in disinterest. "Just try to keep her alive, will you? Father will murder me if she dies after so long..."

Feronia was by far the longest surviving pet in the household, which was saying a lot given her own young age. Not that pets had very high life expectancy rates to begin with. It was a thing of legend for them to survive a century's time--which was nothing at all in the life span of a vampire.

Clarissa leaned back against the stone wall with a pout as she looked at her twin. "Not a stuffy, royal outing, brother. A real outing. There's a party tonight...down closer to the moutian's. Thrown by some of the lower class..."

Which meant crappy settings and crappy alcohol. But promised of low lighting, close dancing, and much better food. "please Alba. I'm so tired of being here all alone..."

"..."

Lower class? That meant that there would be humans? Well he did love humans... and he loved listening to music... and their food was almost always delicious. Sometimes unhealthy but... mouthwatering good. His face was giving him away and he knew it. His eyes were narrowed as he continued to think it over.

There wasn't much to think about however... he was going. He wanted to go. It wasn't as if there was anything to do at their castle. He had read all the books a couple of centuries ago, finished exploring every part of their home by the time he was eight-six, and scaring the maids, cooks, and butlers wasn't fun anymore. Sure he would chuckle but... it only lasted three seconds before he started to wondering what he was doing with his life.

"Alright. I'll go with you. Go to the kitchen, get the poor girl some real food that will last her at least a week, and I'm... going to take a bath."

Clarissa grinned slowly as she realized she had won over her brother. He was never very good at hiding his emotions from her, after all. Vincent had a weakness for the lower class parties, and she couldn't blame him. They were a lot of fun. The humans for one were extremely fun.

"Thank you Alba," she purred sweaty, and she was only ever so nice when she got something she wanted out of him. But as he finished his thought, she found herself sighing in distaste. Of course he would put limitations on her win.

She stomped away from him in a short fit as she went to order the cooks around to get her pet some real food to eat. Sadly enough, she knew her brother had a point--the more she fed Feronia, the more she could feed off of her. And the young girl was exceptionally tasty.

When she had something that she was sure would meet her brothers approval, and a stick of carrots for the rabbit, she went back to the pets room, opened the door, and dropped the tray of food on the ground haphazardly.

"You should thank Vincent for that one, apparently he has a bit of care for you," she muttered, crossing her arms. She was steadly growing bored.
