Jacquette Beauson
"There's a difference between being a whore and being pretty."
The best possible way to describe Jacquette Beauson in one word would be doll. Not in the sense that she is "a doll", "a peach", or any other way one can describe a sweet human being. No, a doll as in a child's plaything except she would belong on a shelf, not in the hands of children. Her frame is small and slightly angular; it is fragile and seemingly able to break easily. The girl stands shorter than most everyone her age and cannot manage to weigh as much, even soaking wet.
Coupled with her delicate body is her fair skin. Soft as rose petals, the color of fine porcelain, her skin helped make the girl a target of praise in her village. The perfection of her skin seemed almost magical (and perhaps it was). In stark contrast to her skin, Jacquette had the blackest of black hair fall down to the small of her back. It was almost an unruly, wavy mess seeming to be on the brink of disaster. Somehow it stayed under control but always gave the impression it was about to explode into a curly mess around her.
Moving to her face, the features found there were soft and dainty. Her jawline was gentle with a small pointed chin. Her nose never seemed to grow past the age of seven. Jacquette's lips were round and full, always asking for more. To her advantage, they were often one of the things that got her particular attentions, specifically from men. Her eyes were more almond shaped than the average lady but they managed to seem bigger. Most of her eye was taken up by the large, gray-green irises that were found there.
If one figured in her mannerisms, it would be obvious this lady was on the coy side. A tease was far too seductive of a word; Jacquette was still a virgin and would always remain so. That is what fueled some of her powers. Even with all of that being said, she used her looks to her advantage to be taken care of and that required a certain amount of confidence, coyness, and manipulation. Even if she was on the small side of the human race, her presence almost demanded attention.
Clothing Style:
Being raised on the poor side of life, Jacquette did what she had to do to get by. As a young girl, she watched the wealthy women in her village and wanted to be like them; beautiful, confident, and having a certain air about them. While her family didn't have a good life style, she made sure she did. From a young age she realized people considered her beautiful, particularly the men, and used this to her advantage. Even to this day she got by on her looks.
All of this being said, this means she had more than most in her village. She was housed by some men, she was bought clothing and jewelry by men, and even some women took care of her for her company. Most of her garments consisted of lace and silk in many colors. While her clothing might be too elaborate and expensive for adventuring, Jacquette did not want to give up the lifestyle she'd grown accustom to just because her personal beliefs called her to this.
Height and Weight:
Jacquette's height is four foot, eleven inches and weighs one hundred and six pounds.
"It seems like the girls with the prettiest smiles have the saddest stories to tell."
Jacquette Beauson is her full, complete name. Jacquette is a variation of the name Jacqueline, which is the female form of Jacques, which is the French version of James and Jacob, which means "he who supplants".

With great beauty comes great responsibility, which is something Jacquette Beauson never lived up to. There is probably an unspoken rule somewhere that says one should use their beauty for good and not for themselves. This girl did the opposite. While she never actually hurt anyone or meant to, Jacquette did use her looks to her advantage. Selfishly she manipulated people to take care of her; she wanted the good life, she wanted nice things. As the years went on, she developed traits that made her successful at getting what she wanted.
It was required to be good company. If one expected to be taken care of and NOT have sex, it was required to be a well-rounded person. This meant Jacquette learned a little about many things and was good at a communicating her thoughts and ideas. She had the poise and power to convince most anyone of what she wanted. She was well spoken about all she knew.
Humor was something she wasnât very well versed in; she kept to being seemingly intelligent and pretty. While she understands a joke, it is difficult for her to tell one. She enjoys a good joke; she even practiced her laugh to sound the most pleasant. That was essential for her to considered good company.
While she is selfish in the way that she does what she has to to get what she wants, that does not make her the worse friend. It in fact makes her a better friend if looked at in the right light. Jacquette has developed excellent listening skills and knows how to properly respond to most situations. The girl could throw you under the bus at any moment if needed or leave you behind if that meant saving her own butt⊠But until that time comes, she can be a great friend.
If one had to pick a few words to describe this beauty they would be: driven, motivated, manipulative, good company, good listener, and intelligent.
Likes:
Extravagance â Who doesnât want nice things? Especially those who grow up with nothing. Sometimes that want gets too overwhelming and those coming from the bottom will do everything to get the top. The best of everything, and that is all Jacquette will settle for.
Custard â A simple pleasure, a simple like, itâs easy to fall for such a dessert. The smooth, creamy texture feels good in someoneâs mouth. Itâs a delicious dessert that the girl will not deprive herself of.
Alone time â While being social is almost like Jacquetteâs job, it is not necessarily something she enjoys. Being surrounded by quiet and nothingness is great for her. She doesnât enjoy being social, she does it to keep up with her lifestyle. If someone interrupts her seclusion, she will try and hide her disappointment, but she will accept the interrupt.
Performance â She enjoys watching dancing, simple as that. It was a talent she wished she could have pursued and developed. This lady tries to live vicariously through watching others dance. It is almost painful for her to watch because of the bit of jealousy she feels⊠But she couldnât see her life without watching it.
Clothing â In Jacquetteâs mind, clothing held all the status. It was the thing that set the wealthy apart from the poor. It was the drive behind her actions. Having the best, being the best⊠It all started with her love of others clothing since a young age.
Dislikes:
Not having control â No one likes to not be in control of a situation. If a situation gets out of control, not only does one not have power to change what is happening, one does not have the power to decide what happens to them. Jacquette likes to be in control, thatâs how she makes sure that she manipulates people well.
Roses â They are an ugly flower in her eyes. They have thorns up the stem and cluster of petals at the top. Their colors are the only redeeming qualities they possess in her eyes. They are too over rated for her taste.
Darkness â No one likes the Boogey Man. No one likes ghosts and ghouls. In her eyes, these things live in the dark. It does take her a second to fall asleep if the environment is pitch black. Itâs just a childhood fear she was never able to shake.
Potatoes â Growing up poor, this was one of the foods Jacquette ate a lot as a child. She just had too many and no matter the way they are prepared, she cannot stomach them. Her mind just associates them with poverty and a life she doesnât want. And that makes her sick to her stomach.
Death â Part of the reason she studied healing magic was to prevent death. The girl has no reason to hate death; her family is still alive. She has never come close to death. She has never seen anyone die. But she knew eventually she must die and to her, that is not okay. She does not want to die.
Fears:
Poverty â Being raised with nothing, Jacquette does not want to go back to that. She will do everything in her power to never be in that situation again. It scares her; it makes her uncomfortable, and makes it difficult for her to even talk to those in extreme poverty. The poor live in conditions unacceptable to her and while it seems irrational, to her, it is not. If her standard of living slips even a little, her heart starts to pound and she gets dizzy; she does not want to go back to that misery.
Rape â While she has never been raped, Jacquette knows it is a very real possibility. She knows what she does, she knows she uses her sexuality, body, and virginity to get what she wants. She is not stupid and knows it is a very real possibility for a man to one day just rape her because he gave her things and thinks it is his right.
Scars â Her physical beauty is all she has in her eyes. If her beauty was ruined, Jacquette feels like she would have nothing. While she does use smarts and personality to get what she wants, she does realize part of it is because of her looks. If she were to be flawed in anyway, she is afraid everything she has will be taken away and she will be forced back into nothingness.
History:
Born into a life of poverty, Jacquette was one of five children born to her mother and father. She was in the middle of the bunch, the third child born. It was never an easy life living how she did. In the middle meant that she was easily ignored and someone other than her parents was responsible for looking after her. Her parents were not hands on at all. For whatever reason (she left before she could really understand), her father never held down a job. Her mother was too upset to do much than lie around.
She grew up in the war time and before she had even reached double digits, Jacquette left her home on her own. It took a couple of weeks for her family to notice, that being the only advantage to being the middle child. She let herself get taken in by whoever would have her. She listened to the talk of the war and she decided her own opinion on the matter.
She hated the war but only for the fact that it took up the money of the wealthy. That meant less money for her and that was unacceptable. It also meant that the poor fought because they had nothing to lose. In her eyes, that was not okay either. Perhaps her father should have gone off but he didnât do that either. Another silly reason to hate the war; she wanted it to take her father.
As she grew up, she spent her time in the company of others. Jacquette listened and learned from others. She read as many books as she could. She made sure that she was the best company she could be. Letting herself be handed off from family to family as a child made her a well-rounded person, even if she was self-centered.
As she got older however, she became more of a sexual object than good company and a pretty face. Jacquette needed to learn to defend herself, and she did. The first time she needed to kick a man where the sun didnât shine, word spread that she was not to be bought for sex. She still had to rough up the occasional man, but most understood.
The skill of cooking also came with being taken care of. If one didnât put out, it was expected that they could at least cook and clean. The lady was happy to exchange money, clothing, and other material possessions for cooking and cleaning. Nothing escalated past that until the past couple years where she loosely hinted at giving her virginity to a man and he offered to house her and take care of her completely until she decided to give that to him. She was running out of time before the man would lose his patience.
That is why she went on this adventure. She needed to escape that loose deal she made with the man. She also wanted the war to end because she has high hopes of it bringing her more wealth in her life. It seemed like a simple fix.
