And Tonight, Miss. Rain Starling, Vampress, will be hosting her Rogue Masquerade Ball in her sprawling Mansion estate tucked away in the cold Carpathian mountains,

Step through the massive iron gates of a 1920s heiress' estate, and into an enchanting and alluring show of glitz and class, and darkness. The Starling Estate will open it's huge halls to an evening of glittery gowns, enchanting costume, music, dancing, and 'wine' drinking
The scene opens on the snowy mountain slopes of 1920's Romania. Nestled hidden beneath the full fur of the pine and juniper trees on the side of the steep Carpathian Mountains, reclines a lavish and large castle estate belonging to the young and beautiful Romanian heiress, Miss. Rain Starling.
Heiress to a rich father from England named Johnathan Starling and a young, and very wealthy mother named Maria Lupusoru, she inherited her massive estate and fortune tucked away in the beautiful mountains after her parent's tragic car accident. At the time of her change, she was due to wed a man named Stephan Vasile, but Rain had secretly fallen in love with a young, Romanian gentleman named Viorel Silviu. Viorel was a creature of the night and didn't love Rain the way she did him. She begged him to change her, so they could flee her unwanted marriage and be together forever. He didn't plan to stick around. As soon as possible, Viorel would leave quietly in the night after Rain had fell unconscious. He chose the few hours of morning before the sun peeked over the mountains and shown across the face of the castle. While Viorel, thinking he had successfully escaped, headed toward the cover of the forest around the castle, an extremely new, fast, agile and silent killer attacked from behind. Over taking him with surprise, Rain shut Viorel in the highest tower of the soon to be newly wed castle, The East Wing. Inside the top of the tower was a small room with nothing in it but some old furniture and a very large window. Rain used her newfound strength to hold the door shut as she heard a wailing and burning Viorel meet his final end on the other side. Rain did marry Stephan staying with him until his tragic death; a 'hunting accident', a year later, that left Miss. Starling with all the money she could ever want. She still resides in her family estate….and throws huge masquerades such as this. It has been almost 5 years since she was widowed, but her husbands death never stopped her from throwing the most extravagant parties. Join Miss. Rain Starling in The Glamour of the Night....

***HOWEVER, If you are a vampire- you are not invincible. The Sun will kill you. Silver will kill you. Stake through the heart; dead. Rip off your head; dead. Burn you alive; Dead. You need blood. Vegetarians are welcome, but rare. No sparkling.
- There are a few abandoned human characters that can be adopted if anyone is interested. Their descriptions are very vague to let you grow the character in whatever direction you choose.
-I really like to give everyone creative freedom, so feel free to add powers or anything else you wish.

Adam lightly chuckled to himself as Clare approached and Clade introduced her as his twin. He wasn't sure what the girl thought of him. It didn't really matter though. Dani had a pleased smile on her face. "Thank you! You look very lovely as well," she returned. Clare told Clade she had something about the hostess to discuss with him. Adam raised an interested eyebrow at this. "Interested in the young hostess?" he asked Clare. Dani lightly elbowed Adam in his side. "Don't get into other people's business. It's rude," she scolded. He shot her a look. "I had a rather interesting conversation with her as well," he continued. Dani smiled out of embarrassment. "Sorry about my brother's behavior. When it comes to socializing, he's really not the best at it. Have any of you had the wine yet? It's been in my sight all night, but I have yet to actually try any. I'm here to have a good time." She looked at Adam. The glass in his hand appeared untouched. "Oh, perfect. Thank you, brother." She took the glass from him and began sipping at it. "Was anyone interested in dancing?" she asked with a daring smile on her face. It seemed that Dani always had some sort of smile on her face. This one invited either Clare or Clade to join her on the dance floor.

Clade heard Dani said he rubbed the back of his neck, "I wasn't until now that you speak of it" he said chuckling and looking at Adam, "Can I take your sister for a dance?" He said politely requesting, "And if something does happen to her on my behalf don't hesitate to kill me" he added begin serious yet still smiling, Clade knew what it was like to have to deal with someone taking his sister to dance out of no where, "and afterwards I would like you two, to follow me outside" he said again addressing the waitresses situation
Clare wandered around the room not knowing what to do, she was getting bored real quick and hated it by the minute she saw a chocolate fountain and stuck her tongue out in a disgusted matter, she walked to the food table and saw a plate of fruit she picked up a strawberry and began to eat it slowly "This is really good!" She said

Arturo returned the dark smile as Rain said that he could kill the would be assasin how he liked. Keeping a tight hold on the vampires shoulder he spun the chair around and allowed his nails to elongate into sharpend claws, he hit and scratched the vampires face over and over again. His face was unrecognisable, the criss cross pattern etched into his face along with the screams and whimpers. He tried desperately to get away but as soon as he put a limb forward Arturo grabbed it and snapped it with ease, he became bored and finally became bored so punched the vampire in the chest so hard that his ribs snapped and pierced his heart and lungs.
After taking the vampires jewellery he slipped it in his pocket, it was always good to take things of value back to Rain. She might want them as a gift, scooping the dead vampires body up he placed it into the incenarator. Warming the house comfortably, Arturo checked his clothes for any sign of blood or tearing, he was fine.
Returning to the ballroom he walked up to Rain bowing his head " sorry to bother you Miss Starling, unfortunately Mr Arthur has had to leave prematurely, he sends his apologise and a gift of his gratitude for your hospitality this evening." Pippa raised her eyes at the man who came towards them, He was quite the looker after all. The vampire made a small whistle sound under her breath only her and Rain could hear. Then listening to their conversation the girl flicked a single golden curl back and chuckled, knowing truly what had happened. Rain wasn't much for mercy, it was something Pippa adored in her friend. She was just so deliciously evil sometimes, dangerous. But she kept it so well hidden you maybe would have never known.
As she heard Rain ask for a dance with the handsome stranger, all she could do was silently be proud of her friend and her choices, then falling back to let them be together. After all Pippa wasn't one for intruding on that, nor was she one for subtlety as she winked towards Rain.

Arturo had to take a second glance at Rain as she asked him to dance with her. " Miss?" He had to asked in disbelief, she had never asked him to do something that personal and close before. Of course he had to do whatever she asked ( even if he had no knowledge of it ever happening) but she didn't ask him that often to do personal things for her. She had other servants for that, even then there was not a lot of servants around.

Arturo hoped that he remembered how to dance he hadn't really danced much. He vaguely remembered dancing with his family but the memory was hazy, in fact it hurt to remember.

Pippa chuckled as she saw her friend dancing, she wanted in on the fun. The mischief vampire then scanned the crowd before dancing over to an older gentleman, human to be exact. Who had been all alone watching the others dance. She extended her hand out to him, much as most men would do to the woman. He could only laugh at their girls jokes as he took her hand and swayed her around in the ballroom.
She couldn't help but laugh as he dipped her, he was quite the dancer after all. Some men and women in the crowd laughed, others cringed in despite of the old fellow, saying he'd be my next victim. Although even Pippa wouldn't want to admit it, But she would never feed or hurt someone who couldn't protect themselves. As they swayed across the ballroom she hummed the sweet melody, the quirk in her lip never wandering.

He could feel his breath hitch as she guided him through the steps, he felt Rain's head rest against his shoulder, close to his neck so he could feel her delicate breath trace along his skin.

Pippa fell back and let another lady have a turn with dancing with the charming old man. Then walking off the dance floor, the sound of whispers and gossip directed towards her was like music to her ear!

The music could already be heard down the dark front pathway leading to the most elegant front entrance, Elsie ever did see. The simple moonlight reflected quite lovely off the silver beads of her black bosley fringed dress, as she strutted along in her black satin kitten heels, with just enough rhinestone bling. Stopping a moment to pull a compact out of her handbag, it was a must to make sure her makeup was still at the peak of perfection. High dark brows, check. Heavily lined smoky eyes, check. efine your eyebrows dramatically with a dark eyebrow pencil, lots of kohl eyeliner around the eyes and steely grey eyeshadow. Dark red drawn rosebud lips, check. Satisfied she dropped the compact back into her bag, after giving her pinned bob a small pat. More confidence to her shapely stride, she finished her trek to the front doors hoping she hadn't missed out on too much fun. She thought it odd that the hostess didn't have her servants out greeting her guest as they arrived, but this was whole different culture...She rapped lightly on the door and waited to be let in.
