"Ah," The smile remained, "Dracula. It's been too long. What brings me to this stretch of the world is a story for another day."
At this, Casren pivoted to turn his full attention to the women. Not so much them, as to what they had. The scent of the blood hung thick in the air, clogging his nostrils. Having had just fed a few days prior, Casren wasn't driven mad by the scent. It was a little distracting, though.
"Yes. Business." He cleared his throat, and addressed the party, including the newcomer for it was obvious he was here to stay.
"I seek your aid, that much is apparent. There is a rift, a fissure, a crack in the existence of us, here, that I wish to repair. We are not respected in this realm, on these plains. There are beasts, creatures, humans who prove to be a threat to us. Not just a threat, for what's happening is not of nature. It's not the way of things..."
At this Casren paused, and shook his head.
"I regret to inform you that we are in decline, us Vampires and other creatures of the night. Our own kind has allied with the enemy, has turned against us in the worst of ways. I'm sure you," At this he pierced his company with eyes of cinder, "Know of what incidents I speak."
