Image

Name: Driselda Lacopt

Age: Unknown, Appears to be in her late thirties

Species Vampire Lord, Former Atmoran

Sex: Female

Title: Daughter of Cold Harbor

Personality: Quiet, Subtle and always with her Guard up. The Warrior always watches from the sidelines, her hand on her hilt and eyes wary for trouble.

Equipment: She doesnt keep much on her, preferring a simple, unenchanted armor set of Bonemold armor. Her sword and shield are just as simple and non elegant. The only piece of equipment with this is a glowing Crown made of pure Aethesium, a now vanished ore with extreme power. She uses this to enhance her Blood and Necromantic magics to a level that would be described as beyond her. Over her armor lies a elegant cloak with her hood always low over her head to cover this legendary crown and her face hidden to protect her from the low lights of dawn or from view

Powers: Shapeshift- She can shapeshift into multiple creatures including a Swarm of Bats, Red Mist, a Wolf and the most powerful of all, the Vampire Lord

Vampire Lord- A master of the Arts of Necromancy, she can attack through three different methods. The first is to use her Blood Magics. These let her use her enemies life force to sustain herself by drawing power from their bodies and use it to fuel her own attacks. The Second is to Summon or Ressurect the Dead. She can create Gargoyle minions to fight for her while she casts spells to hurl at her enemies. However, when her magic fails, she can use her claws to fight nail to nail agaisnt her foes. Her claws are sharp enough to cut through steel so they can be deadly

History: She is a Servant of Molag Bal, a Daedric Prince renowned for his malice and cruelty. On the day of his Celebration, he would demand a sacrifice, a lush, fertile virgin female. When She was chosen, she was brought before Molag-Bal and taken by him sexually. He raped her for several hours and in the most humiliating of ways. Finally, to consecrate her body, he laid but a single drop on her brow and left her to die. She was supposed to have died, but she fought through death, clawing her way back and when she awoke, she was a Pure Blood Vampire with a host of unique gifts at her command. She never looked back in any way and enjoys her immortality

Through the mists of the quiet morning came a gutteral, terrifying noise equivalent to the sound of many people screaming. A shadow flew overhead, terrifying the horses below before it swept back up into the clouds and out of sight.

Up ahead, the ground rumbled, as if something quite large had slammed into the ground. All was still for a moment or two, then the trees ahead of them parted, and an ugly, serpentine face, black as pitch, pushed its way through the foliage nearly twenty feet off the ground. It bared its ivory fangs in a gutteral hiss, looking between the two riders before fixating on the female.

The dragon turned to glare at Drakus, lifting her head high as a voice began to reverberate in the both of their minds.
Foolish mortal.
the female voice hissed.
Put away that child's weapon and stand to the side if you know what's good for you.

Driselda Lacopt sneered.
I've come to claim my own, you insufferable whelp.
Her tail lashed out, threatening to knock down the trees within the vicinity.

Driselda Lacopt lowered her head toward the ground, taking another step closer and hissing at the pair.
This isn't your battle, Drakus Flavaar.
she said, her eyes never leaving Lumierre.
Come child, come forward so that I might embrace you.
Her talons dragged in the dirt, rough, razor edges making the ground shake.

No staff? You foolish girl. Did you think I would never come back for you?

Curse you!
she screeched, swiping a paw at Lumierre, who had stumbled to her feet and started running. The talon caught her shirt, rending a tear in it from one side of her back to the other, a streak of blood blooming on the fabric as she was sent forward onto her stomach.

Driselda Lacopt turned her good eye toward Drakus, lowering herself over Lumierre as if to keep her from Drakus. She then hissed, emitting another gutteral roar in his direction.

She is mine to take. It is no business of yours what I do with what belongs to me.

Driselda Lacopt reared her head up, hissing low as she backed away, leaving Lumi exposed on the ground. The other dragon was coming closer, and with an injured paw and a blind eye, her chances of winning were substantially lower. So, she gracelessly scrambled back, hissing obscenities before turning and taking to the sky, the other dragon in hot pursuit.

She entered quietly, the hem of her cloak brushing delicately against her ankles as she slipped into the bar. Her hood was drawn up, hiding half of the elven woman's face, and her left hand was tucked inside the fabric, while her right clasped the fabric near her neck. She kept her head low, though her form was still regal, a commanding presence. If she was meeting someone, then they weren't there yet. She went to the back of the bar and took a seat in a booth on her own.

Driselda Lacopt snapped her one good eye up at the man who had approached, the other obscured with a white cloth obviously stained with a conspicuous dark liquid. "You would do well to keep your distance and give me my privacy." she snapped through gritted teeth. Irritating, stupid patrons who thought they could stick their noses in anyone else's business. Where the hell was Scythe?

Not long after the woman arrived, a second figure followed, this one of a serpentine man with snakelike features and scales instead of flesh. He, too, wore a cloak, but the hood was thrown back from his face, red, slitted eyes glancing about, tongue flicking forward, his green scales reflecting the low lighting of Gambits in an eerie manner. When his gaze alighted on the woman who had just entered, he discreetly made his way back in that direction as well, taking a seat across from her and placing his hands on the table. "You called me, Majesssty?" he murmured.

Driselda Lacopt nodded, the hood of her cloak falling back slightly. Her features may have been beautiful once upon a time, but the ugly mark across her eye made her look haggard, and her silver hair appeared to hang about her face in tendrils rather than waving locks. "I have a job for you, Scythe. I need it done quickly and without too much fanfare."

Scythe smirked, his lizard lips crackling slightly. "It is a rare thing to hear of royalty hiring private mongrel assassins. Who is the target?"

Driselda smiled, but her thin lips portrayed no pleasure. "My daughter." she said in a near-whisper. "Lumierre."

Scythe appeared surprised. If he'd had eyebrows, they would have lifted. Instead, his forked tongue whipped out of his mouth in his own nervousness. "Royalty, majesty? Are you certain of this?"

Driselda's one good eye hardened. "She's gone mad, abdicating her right to the throne of my people and fraternizing with mortals. She's lost her wisdom and her immortality, and she's far too powerful and incompetent to rule in my stead. I fear for my life. She mutilated my hand when last we met. I haven't the faintest what she might do next."

Scythe looked concerned. "I know of whom you speak. This Lumierre will not be easy to access. She resides in the manor of Drakus Flaavar, and has taken favor with him."

Driselda's nostrils flared with her own fury and disgust. "That putrid whelp put out my eye. I'd have you kill him too if it didn't threaten interracial treaties."

Scythe thought about that. "But...Majesty, do you not think that, with all the friendships she has created, you might incite something akin to a riot amongst your own people?"

Driselda laughed, a shrill, desperate sound. "So make it look like an accident! Bring me the body when all is through and I will see to it that no one will ever hear of her again."

In a slight rage, Scythe stood and withdrew a thin, light sword from beneath his cloak. Flicking the tip underneath the boy's chin, he narrowed his serpentine eyes and hissed. "We cut off the ears of young men who don't know to keep their noses to themselves."

Scythe glared, shaking his head once and turning to sheath his sword. "Worthless." he muttered under his breath. Turning to look back at Driselda, he was surprised to see that she'd gone, having disappeared out the back door.

Scythe became curiously still, his red eyes locking on the form of the woman who had just walked in. Though it was clear that mortal influence had taken its toll, there was no mistaking her delicate form, or the innocent loveliness of her appearance. Her delicately pointed ears were hardly concealed by the cascade of silver hair that dangled about her shoulders, and her voice was like music. He felt a pit of guilt forming in his stomach for the job he knew he had to do, but that was almost immediately pushed aside. Without another word, he turned and exited the same way Driselda had gone.

The Ruins were an odd place to be this evening...certainly so as the area was surrounded by people and swarmed by them. They bore cloaks of black and an odd collection of swords, axes, crossbows and some Axes. The men were keeping watch as the center of the Ruins held the most activity and a banner was thusly placed over the entrance: The Shape of a Bat

"We cannot delay any further. The closer we seem to get, the farther our goal goes away. The Goddess must be awoken, she must see us and we are to recieve Her gifts!!" One man said to another who was garbed in a set of heavy plate armor, clearly of fine make and heavily enchanted "Calm yourself Strigori, we will have our Goddess soon enough. She will praise us as Her champions and we will become Immortal through her kiss" He said as the two entered the cavern opening with roughly 40 guards outside to watch the perimeter and Ruins. They were all armed to the teeth and didnt look like they would mess around
