❝I remember as a young child, I was reading a book and stumbled across a quote saying ‘We each have our blessings and our curses. In the end it makes us equals.’ At the time it made enough sense for me to understand what it meant, therefore flicking to the next page, but now since blissfully (sarcasm intended) gaining the infamous title of being one of the silver eyed, I know that that line is complete and inept bullshit. If you’re curious as to what the silver eyed are, they’re very limited group of people with certain supernatural-esque abilities. Now they aren’t an elite group in which everyone hopes to become one day, no, you dread the day that has a one in a million chance of showing up around your seventeenth year of age in which you wake up to look in the mirror and see the god damned silver ring around your pupil, the oh so popular indication of your newly freak of nature status. It’s even better when you discover your curse of an ability by setting your house on fire, or shutting off all your lights in your neighbour hood in an electrical surge. Those are just some examples. As soon as that happens, expect everyone to turn on you. Why do you ask? Well it’s because we are denied our basic human rights as the ever so great government states that we are not classified as people any more. So what ends up happening to us? We are hunted, maybe sold off if people can somehow find a way to take advantage of our abilities, and some labs often have been known to pick them up to test on us brutally. Basically we run and hide as far as we can. There are a few ways to hide these eyes that serve as our indicators, like contacts, but you can only wear those for so long before whatever made our eyes an odd silver colour pretty much eats it away. But this is how we live. Often alone, and under the radar.❞


The Plot

The silver eyed started mysteriously popping up around 1920. No cause, no explanation, no nothing. Even now in present day 2014, we still don't have an explanation as to what switches on this odd occurrence. Tests have been run, double checked, triple checked, but no conclusions have ever been drawn. The amount of the silver eyed are very limited, and not very easy to come by as most often they are on the run, in captivity, or tested and killed in the process. The government, and other hunters are continuously trying to track them down following whatever trails or leads they can find, which is surprisingly more easy then it seems considering some of the trails they leave with there abilities. Families are publicly shamed by their peers if people find out their child turned silver eyed and are blamed often by religion groups about giving birth to abominations by god. This story follows 4 Individuals, all silvered eyed, all with different abilities, all from different backgrounds. Each already disbanded into a group, both consisting of one girl and one boy. By some mysterious reason they all end up running into each others opposite groups. They band together and become a whole, a group that trusts, and protects. They decided that they're tired of being alone, tired of feeling like a freak, so they run together, running from those who would rather see them dead or alive. They skip from abandoned how to house, pitching tents in the forest just trying to survive and not be caught. But even if they bond together, does that really help them in running from what they fear, or drag them down?
