"Wow!" was heard all around in the training grounds of the leaf village. Nanashi stood in a stance as he was performing a jutsu, a drill shaped cyclone of chakra and wind enveloped his right arm. It was his own personal invention, when he had first started training he had been placed in a squad with a Hatake and a Uzamaki. Both has taught him the Chidori and the Rasengan. It took some years but he eventually created his own move from the two. The jutsu ended and he stood straight, "That is what you can expect to do one day children, if you continue to train you will become as great a ninja as I." That day he had been tasked with demonstrating some A level jutsus to the academy students as a way to inspire them. As they turned and left with there senseis, the current Kage, the same Uzamake who had been in his team approached him smiling. "You always get those kids in an uproar old friend." Nanashi shrugged, "Just doing what you asked me." He turned and started to head back to his home. It was turning dark and clouds were approaching, there would be a storm that night.

Nanashi woke up from a clash of thunder, he was breathing has and covered in sweat. He had just had a nightmare, he felt weird though. Like something was wrong, just then he heard a loud explosion. This time not thunder, pulling on his clothes and grabbing his sword he leaped through his window. Smoke came form the Hokages mansion, running across the roof tops he leaped through the smashed window. He was paralyzed from shock, laying against the wall filled with kunai was the Hokage.

Kasumi lay against the tree, breathing softly as she let her mind wander. The sky was filled with clouds, and it was raining rather hard. Lightning flashed apoccasionally through the leaves of the trees, and Kasumi thought that maybe it hadn't been such a good idea to take shelter under a tree tonight. She was pretty sure that she was close enough to a village, but she wasn't sure where or which one.

Suddenly she shot to her feet, her spear held in a defensive ready stance. There was nothing but the sound of rain and the clap of thunder. She slowly lowered the tip to the ground, still suspicious as she scanned her surroundings. She had felt a sort of bad... Feeling. A premonition of sorts, maybe. Whatever it was, she didn't like it. Maybe she should have headed to the village for the night, but she knew that it had a protective barrier that warned the people of the village of intruders in their turf, and she hadn't wanted to deal with it at the time... She shivered. She would take her chances with the village rather than the malignant feeling that had just assaulted her.

Hiko wasn't doing anything at the time just taking a nap in one of the many mountains that surround the village before continuing his training, of course despite his strange behavior he is a full pledged Shinobi, What kind of Shinobi sleep defenseless? at least not Hiko, his spiders wove a network that extended within three hundred meters far enough to allow the ninja react in case someone came.

He has some time sleeping when it happened, the network indicated to the Jōnin that someone was coming and he prepared for a possible combat but that was unnecessary,the person who entered his territory was an ANBU of the village "We need your assistance with something urgent," Hiko nodded and followed hin immediately to the highest structure of the town, the Palace of Tsuchikage, Hiko was a little confused he just returned from a mission in which eliminated a defector from the village and the Tsuchikage gave him free time so he'll never would call him for anything much less at night, when the young man entered the first thing he saw were some members of his clan and when he stood before the Tsuchikage knew the reason, the color of his skin, the blood in his eyes and the slight tremors, had been poisoned.

"I will die" Hiko started laughing "isn't a joke" stopped laughing right away.

"I will prepare an antidote immediately" Hiko said, he had no idea what kind of poison they used but it wasn't something that bothered him.

"Impossible, your clan analyzed the poisono and they don't have an antidote, right now they're trying to prepare an effective one but before it is ready I will be dead" coughed some blood "The villagers will suspect of the Yudoku Clan and there is only one way to clear up misunderstandings, This is the last order of the Ninth Tsuchikage, Hiko Jonin of the village hidden by rocks, member of the Yudoku Clan and Jinchurikki of seven tailed beast Chomei" his time began to run out as well as his breathing" Fi ... Nanashi turned from the spot in rage, his eyes instantly shifting to the red fox eyes of the kyuubi. He leaped through the window and bounded through the roof tops of the village, looking for anyone who was not apart of the village. Forming a hand symbol he said, "Storm Release: swift bounding jutsu!" He was covered in lightning and wind, this jutsu alowed him to move at nearly the speed of both elements at his command. He shot from rooftop to rooftop as a bolt of lightning, he landed in front of the gates in a large blast of lightning. Someone he did not recognise stood there, he instantly unsheathed his sword staring down the intruder. "Who are you?!" inside his head the Jinchuuriki heard Kurama say, "Watch out, this one smells like the 8 tails."

Kasumi stood rigidly, gazing at the sword for a single heartbeat. Her spear snaked its way out from behind her back, and she took a stance made to defend against other ninja, particularly those who used jutsu. She quickly shifted into a form that looked like a backwards lunge, with her spear point placed lightly against the hard earth. The chakra of the Hachibi rushed through her. Apparently it had woken. It was usually asleep inside of her at this time, only engaging with her in conversation when it pleased him.

She stood like that, waiting for the man with the blade to make his move, baring her teeth like an animal. From the moment that she had laid eyes on the naked sword, all thought other than protecting herself had left her mind, and she was a single step away from trying to kill the man before her.

"Calm down... I think this guy's a Jinchuriku..." said a voice inside her head. It was enough to wake her so that she could analupyze the situation. The man had asked who she was and, even if he didn't appear to be Anbu, then he was at least of the village.

"Tsukino Kasumi... Jonin of Kumogakure..." she said, not moving from her stance, as she was still anticipating an attack from the man.

Nanashi studied the girl, sensing out her emotions, she had strong killing intent but it only appeared when he challenged her. The girl also willingly told him her name and village, an assassin would not be so foolish unless they truly thought they could kill him. "Nanashi, Jonin of Konoha." He studied her stance, she was clearly a fighter with great agility, one perhaps used to the lightning style. Nanashi's eyes turned normal and he sheathed his sword, still holding the hilt, "Forgive me, I do not believe you are the one I am looking for. I suppose you were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time." He formed a hand sign, "Lightning Release: Shadow Clone Jutsu!" 2 clones appeared behind and turned rushing back to the village to spread the news of the Kage's death. "Moments ago our Hokage was assassinated, my clones will alert the village, what is a Jonin of Kumogakure doing here though?"

The sound of rushing water was all he could hear. Not, that was a lie. There were footsteps, too, hidden behind the noise of the ocean waves crashing against shore. Takami stood up from his place, leaning against the rocks, hidden in the shadows. The light of the moon cast harsh shadows on his pale face, twisting his features into grotesque shapes.

"I knew you would be coming," he stated emotionlessly, his voice oddly soft. He didn't have a feminine voice, per se, but it was not particularly masculine either. 'Androgynous' would probably be a good word to use when describing it. "What is my missing, Lord Tenth?"

A man stepped forward into the light. He was tall, like Takami, but far skinnier, and a good deal older. He was wearing long robes and a hat proclaiming who he was: the tenth Mizukage. "Hiding on your own again, I see. How did you know I was coming?"

Takami's simple response was, "Mirrors."

This response would have made no sense to most people, but the Mizukage wasn't 'most people', and therefore knew of Takami's Kekkei Genkai: Ice release. "Using your demonic mirrors again, I see. You probably know why I am here as well, then."

A curt nod was the only response Takami gave.

"You know your mission, then, so go carry it out. The ninja who stole the scrolls you must retrive was reported to be heading to Konoha. Get those scrolls back at all costs. If required, use lethal force." Suddenly, the Mizukage gave a curious croaking sound, five red spots appearing on his chest, followed by the metal tips of a clawed hand.

Takami immediately reached for his weapons, intending to pull his claw arm on, only to find it wasn't there. "Curses," he spat under his, pullibg a kunai knife out of his belt, holding it up high, in an on-guard position. The Mizukage slowly toppled forward, the clawed glove sticking out from his back. There was no sign of his murderer.

Suddenly, the sky light up red and white as the rocks all around him exploded. Frantic shouts rose through the air, and Takami realised shinobi from the village were coming. He had no clue what to do! His body was paralyzed in shocked.

Only as the first shinobi appeared and gave him horrified looks did Takami realise what this situation looked like. He pulled the clawed glove out of the Mizukage's back, sliding it on over his arm, just as the first waves of warriors attacked him.

Takami fought like a demon, but not because he wanted to. The shinobi he was fighting were people he respected and was fond of. While they didn't like him, he liked them, and therefore would never willingly hurt them. Now, these shinobi saw him as the culprit for the kage's death, and he had to kill them just to survive.

Soon, the ground was littered with the bodies of dead and dying shinobi. Already, Takami heard footsteps of more reinforcements. He had to disappear. Quickly, he stooped down by the kage's body, kneeling down and gently rolling him over, placing his hat on his chest, before he stood up.

By the time the next group of shinobi had arrived, Takami had already disappeared, running for his life. He had no clue where to go, and decided to head for the one place where he might find people willing to protect him: the village hidden in leaves.

Kasumi slowly relaxed her fighting stance, but kept her spear at the ready.
"Your Hokage...?" she frowned, thinking about the feeling she had felt in the forest. She thought that she might avoid saying that right now. It wouldn't help anyone. It had just been a bad feeling, after all. Instead, she shook herself and replied to the man's question. "I travel a lot... I'm Kumogakure's eight tails Jinchuriku. So this is Konohagakure? I dont think I've been here before..." she shrugged. She didn't know what was going on in this village, but it was apparently some trouble.
"so... Your Hokage... He's dead? What happened?"

Nanashi furrowed his brow, so Kurama was right. "I to am a Jinchuuriki, of the 9 tails." He turned and looked back at the village, he could make out the shapes of Shinobi rushing around the village in a panic. An unknown assassin killed him, whoever they were, they're extremely powerful. That kage was a descendant of Naruto Uzamaki, he was also in my former team." Nanashi growled in anger, they had killed one of the few people who were close to him. Kurama's chakra blazed out of his hand as he punched a tree, shattering it. Slowly the chakra subsided and his breathing calmed down, "My apologies, it would be best to meet with the village elders. To decide a course of action, if this is the work of another village then this could mean war. Come with me, it would be best if you remained by my side at this time." He turned from the spot and begin heading to the village.

There was a pause before Kasumi nodded and put away her spear. The man was right. Konohagakure was known for accepting Junchuriku, but still, an unknown ninja, never mind if it's a Jinchuriku or not, would immediately be suspect. If she had this man to vouch for her, though she wasn't sure if he was going to, then she might be better off.
"So... What am I going to be doing right now then?" she said, thinking back to what she had first came to the village for; a good night's sleep.

Nanashi paused and thought, "If you are tired I have a home you can stay at tonight, I won't be there tonight, I have to attend to the sudden death of the Hokage." He led her through the town and several shinobi jumped form the roofs in front of them. "Who is this women?!" They asked suspicously, "She is a Jinchuuriki and a Jonin of Kumogakure, I do not suspect her for the Hokage's death. Leave her be and make sure the other shinobi do as well." They nodded respectfully, no one in the village would dare to speak against him. He turned back to Kasumi, "You can either stay here at my place, or come with me to meet with the village elders." He gestured towards a house next to them.

Kasumi was surprised at the command that he wielded. She had no semblance of that power up back in Kumogakure, despite her being a good ninja, and a Jinchuriku, at that. However, she jumped at the chance to get some sleep. She almost asked to just impose upon him immediately, but caught herself. It would probably look odd if she had said so. "I can't offer much, but I will go before these elders if you wish..." she bowed, looking up again. "afterwards, I will happily impose upon your household!" she said brightly, hoping to lighten the dark mood that she had just noticed surrounded the area.

Nanashi nodded, "Very well, come with me." Perhaps she would help to serve another purpose, the two headed to the Hokages mansion where several Jonin, village elders, and Anbu were gathered. As the entered the room several of them looked at Kasumi with confusion, he explained, "This is Tsukino Kasumi, the 8 tailed Jinchuuriki of Kumogakure. With the abilities granted to me by Kurama I have been able to tell that she is not responsible for the Hokage's death. Her being here at this time can help us though, with her we will be able to contact her village easier and get help." He was about to say more but a messenger ninja rushed into the room, he said panickingly, "Across the ninja nations Kage's have been assassinated!" Several of the ninja in the room all gasped and cursed, things were indeed looking very grim. "We have no way of knowing if this is true, any of the nations could have easily lied and said their Kage was killed to cover it up." Nanashi said contemplatively.

Kasumi slowly shook her head.
"No... No, that couldn't be right..." now, at least, she knew what the feeling earlier had been. She decided that that wouldn't prove as very conclusive evidence and tried a different tactic. "There would be no reason for them to lie about that kind of thing. If anything, I would expect the villages to say that the Kages had lived."
Suddenly the Hachibi's chakra rippled through her and she was alerted of two enormous chakras that were approaching rather swiftly. It seemed that not one but two Jinchuriku were approaching.
"Nanashi, was it...? Do you feel that...?" she said cautiously. This couldn't be a coincidence...

Hiko had enough time flying at high speed so no wonder he has reached the Leaf Village, he thouth that it was too easy to get into the town which was odd, any ninja village that boasts of such must watch their borders, besides he wasn't making any attempt to hide his presence shrugged and continued to fly at least wouldn't have to deal with small fry and could go directly to speak with the leader of the village, the Fire Shadow.

It was the first time was in the Leaf Village but in few he could locate the building where the Hokage must reside, Choumei was unusually quiet, normally he would blew stupid jokes whenever Hiko used his "wings" for a long time, he stopped about meters from the building made ​​some hand seals and said "Water Release: Bullet" from his mouth came a large sphere of ​​water that tore a hole in the wall big enough so he could enter.

He didn't turn his head from the intruder but spoke to Kasumi, "Good job Kasumi, in my moment of distraction you were able to sense a jinchuuriki coming." He stepped forward, "I am Nanashi, Jinchuuriki of the Nine Tails."
