Introduction

The clouds in the sky drift lazely through the sky. A warm summer breeze blows through a small, beautiful meadow. Suddenly, the grass is blown down by a powerful wind. A giant shadow covers the clearing, and then an enormous creature lands in the middle of the clearing. Could it be? Yes, it can. It is a strong, powerful dragon. And look at that! There is a human on it's back! There is a symbol on the saddle of the person though. It is a large eagle flying, a sword in it's talons. This is the symbol of Roméca. The people of Roméca are kind and brave. They help all in need, and never leave another behind. The terrain they live on has many mountains and wide valleys. On the edge of the sea, they are rich in trading with other countries. The dragons that live here are usually bright in color. For example, Blues, Greens, and Oranges can be seen as their color. Their eyes are usually these colors too, and have a bright shine to them.

A howl is heard in the night, and a cold wind blows through the dark forest. With no warning, a vicious roar rips through the forest. A dark shadow is seen stalking through the forest, and claws are heard scraping the ground. Out of the forest comes a huge dragon. The dragon stops in a small bare clearing, shaking its wings out. It's mouth is fixed in a snarl, it's dagger-like teeth showing. On it's back is a rider, and there is some sort of symbol on the saddle. It is a small dagger with a drop of blood on the end, a snake curled around it. This is the symbol of Ompélu. The people of Ompélu are very suspicious and un-trustworthy. They are fighting amongst themselves alot. The terrain they live on is barren and cold. There are bare forests, and frozen lakes all over. They live close to Roméca, but inland from the sea, so they don't have very good trade. They get most of there supplies from stealing goods from Romécan wagons as they pass near the border. The dragons that live in the territory are mostly dark-colored. For example, Blacks, Greys, and Midnight Blues are commonly seen. These can also be their eye colors, and their eyes have a cold light to them.

Illiana strode about the Castle, her head held high. She was on her way to a Council Meeting, for they needed to discuss the issue of Ompélu. She wore an elegant long dark blue dress, complementing her beautiful Green eyes. She walked with a graceful step, making it look effortless. She entered the Council room and stopped in the center of the large room. "Council Members!" She called out. "Now is the time. We must discuss this act of war that Ompélu has declared on us!" Her hands were up in the air, gesturing to the members.

Outside the Palace, a enormous Midnight Blue dragon sat. Moon swivled her head from side to side, looking at all the small figures passing near her. She puffed small amounts of smoke out of her nostrils, a small fang poking out of the side of her mouth. She opened her wings, bored and not wanting to wait for Illiana to return. In one swift movement, she was off the ground and in the sky. Her powerful wings beat, and with each stroke, she rose higher and higher. Soon after, she looked down, and the Castle was just a small speck on the ground.
