He looked back to his food, disappointed only for a moment. "I will never find my Ashikabi." His voice dimmed as the thoughts disappeared into his head, 'I will remain the last, the only one not to be winged. I will be forced to live amongst humans, like humans. Even if I do find my Ashikabi, I will be to defensive of them to tell them the truth, they would be put in too much danger.'

"Thank you for the food Antionetta, I am just a little out of it. Mind if I pay a little early, want to make sure you get the tip directly." He reached into his pocket and pulled out a few bills that some of the more generous people gave him when he saved them. He tried to read it for a good estimate on what the food would cost. But unknowingly he gave the highest bill in his hand. "Keep the change as your tip alright? I will be out of here soon enough." He quietly turned back to his food, at first just tasting it. It actually tasted good, not the best thing he had but good. Maybe he could try some other suggestions if he came here again.
