Lance glanced up when a pretty girl walked into the room. He cracked a small smile and Maya rolled her eyes at him. Typical boys, she though. Lance's goofy smile remained plastered on his face as the girl talked. His smile grew when she spoke practically perfect French. Just like him. He stood and sauntered over to her.
"Marie, it is lovely to meet you, I'm Lance." Then, to respond her French question. He said in his fluent French, "I'm sain. Je vous remercie. Et comment allez-vous , mesdemoiselles?" He cocked his brow and flashed another smile. His eyes scanned the girl over, but soon they remained on her eyes.
Maya almost choked. "Oh, that's truly disturbing," she muttered. She stood and also approached the girl. "You're from the UK? As am I. Nice to meet you, I suppose. Where are you in from in the UK?" She asked, holding out her hand with perfect nails and offering an incredibly small smile.
