Amunet turned to the girl and looked her over. As far as first impressions go, this girl seemed kind and pleasant, and when the cat rubbed against Amunet's legs, she couldn't help but be delighted. She'd always wanted a cat, but it wasn't easy to take care of oneself when living on the streets. A cat would have been another mouth to feed. Amunet crouched down and began to gently pet the cat. Bastet...she thought to herself...The protector of Lower Egypt in the form of a Lioness...Hmm...You and I should get along just fine, little kitty. After she pet the cat, Amunet stood back up.

"As I said before, my name is Amunet Kilora. Thank you very much for allowing me to stay. I am in your debt." Humbly, Amunet stepped back and bowed deeply to Kit before straightening. When she heard the old man, she turned to him and smiled.

"Thank you for your kindness," she murmured and walked gracefully to the room the man gestured towards. When she walked in, she realized it was a living room, but for fear of being rude, she waited until the others came in before sitting. She wanted to make a good impression.
