Alexis rode to the mall in relative silence, the only noises she made where when she shifted, rather uncomfortably. Once they got there, she unbuckled herself, jumping out of the vehicle as soon as it had stopped. She looked around for a moment, feeling varying levels of unease. Until Psycho made himself visible, she instantly knew that this was what she had seen earlier. She also knew that it couldn't end well. She sprinted away and tried her best to stay out of sight, and out of the way. She knew that's what she would end up doing anyway, and she didn't want to be a liability. She had herself pressed against a wall, not all that far from the others, but far enough. She listened to all the sounds, the chaos, she was glad she didn't have to see any of it, to feel any of it.

She heard screaming, she could hear the pain behind the cries. It almost brought her to tears hearing the pain of another person. She tried to be strong, she was too old to start blubbering like a baby, but she was scared. Alexis felt a wave of hot tears run down her face, everything was so unreal, she was just waiting for her mom to come in and wake her up, but she knew that wouldn't happen. She was indeed awake.
