This wasn't good. This wasn't good at all. Suddenly, all of Valor's teammates seemed to be running low on whatever it was that made their powers tick, and he sensed his own would give out soon. Noticing the canine numbers thinning dramatically, and both sides being weakened from the battle, Valor had made up his mind that anyone who could still stand would have to be accounted for--either they were with him or they were about to have an exit reinvented. It looked like most, if not all, of Valor's allies were defeated or at least incapacitated for now, and this was not good at all. The backup had appeared to wane, and with Valor the only battle-capable warrior left on his side of the field, threats would have to be addressed quickly. His eyes targeted to Jayx quickly--her summoned creation had taken quite a devastating wound and simply shrugged it off, as if it never happened--so the wound would have to be applied to the source, instead.

Knowing he'd only get one shot, he prayed that Joel could at least talk down or otherwise handle the shifter--who had demorphed, thankfully--while he attempted to deal with the last standing threat. The others would be up soon, at least on the foe's side--and the crowd's bloodthirst would likely empty new foes onto the field.

Wait a minute--that was it! If Valor could just stall time long enough for the next round to begin, they would have no choice to at least try to work together--and then Valor could stab Jayx in the back (hopefully literally) with the first available opportunity. Focusing, he gave one last cry out, but this was clearly aimed at everyone, friend and foe alike.

"Guys, get ready... The wolves were just the first round, they'll be sending more, quickly!"

And with that, time seemed to slow to a crawl. At least until whoever was in charge decided that their impatience supplanted their curiosity.
