Naydelle had stayed back from the fray warily. She wouldn't be of any help, unfortunately...Then Joel collapsed. She let out a slight shriek and knelt next to him, looking him over in a worried manner. She blinked up at the girl who was approaching and waved her hands at her. "Wait...Please, stop! Don't hurt him!" she ordered weakly, looking back at Joel...He was in such bad shape...And she was literally incapable of doing anything to help.
She stopped him from moving and rubbed his shoulder in what she prayed was a comforting manner before facing the girl again. "Who...are you guys? Just...stay away, okay?" she ordered and questioned. This was not good...Not good at all. The wolves were gone, it seemed...but another round? And all these others? She grimaced and brought her fist up weakly. She wasn't a fighter like the rest of them...but she wasn't going to lay down and die!
She still had a promise to keep. No matter what...
