Giera came into the main marketplace. She found the young boy and came over to him. "Here, I promised I'd pay ya for helping me". The boys eyes went wide as she handed him a gold, "A gold? Really? For me?" She smiled at the boy, "Don't spend it in all one place". He thanked her and ran off and Giera felt a little better. She put the money into her own pouch and discarded the other pouch. Her stomach growled as she hadn't eaten in two days so she spent most of the money on getting food that would last. The food was so strange here, sometimes it didn't always agree with her. She quickly made her way to the small roomed apartment she called home, depositing the food, and made her way to the weaponsmithy.

She passed by the leader of the thieves guild on her way to the weaponsmithy. She usually tried to avoid him, as most of this city was controlled by his thieves, but he seemed pre-occupied so she just went by quickly. No one had given her trouble yet, but she suspected they would feel their territory was being threatened eventually. Giera didn't care, she had a right to live like anyone else, and she wasn't joining any thieves guild. She'd be damned before she gave over a portion of her earnings to anyone. No one had helped her people when everyone was being killed, she wasn't inclined to do much for others just because.

When she got to the weaponsmithy she saw he was hard at work. She knocked on his door frame but she knew he probably didn't hear her. She sighed and waited for him to stop banging his hammer. When he doused the metal in the cool water she called to him, "Hello? I need a weapon fixed, but its a small and slightly delicate one, can you do more intricate work then swords and axes?" He was a dwarf so she knew he probably could, but she wasn't sure. Dwarves usually just brang out their battleaxes and battlehammers, not thin bladed claws.
