"And so the Risen Phoenix gains another cursed one." Vincent says with a small smile, though there is not joy in it. He has watched the woman carefully, and was preparing to answer when she took a suddenly, odd tone. As she seemingly became very distracted he started to look her over for anything out of the ordinary, but a moment later she seemed to snap out of it and drew her dagger. Many may have taken this as some sort of threat, and had any of his men been close enough to see it they would have detained her, but he wasn't worried. "I saved you, miss, because I am no ordinary pirate. I hold life as something special, and so I do not kill, not do I let die. Many of the men aboard this ship came to be here because of similar events."

Looking away from her Vincent scans his ship as it begins to turn towards a small island near by. He knew the island by the name Silent Cove, though he was sure there was a proper name for the place. It seemed to fit the place, in his opinion, seeing as how there was a place on this island known as Sailor's Resting Place. To him, it seemed a bad place to visit after such a storm, but it was the closest plot of land, and they needed to dock for a time. After glancing over to see the other woman coming above deck on her own, he turns back to the one at his side with the dagger.

"I am Captain Vincent Margrave, and this is my ship, the Risen Phoenix." He says calmly. "All of those onboard this ship are given a second chance with the sea, and you are no acception. We will be docking soon, and when we do so, you are free to leave us, but, should you so desire, you can remain as a member of my crew." Moving closer to her he suddenly, but gently, attempts to scoop her up into his arms. "In the meantime, you are ill and need rest. I'll take you to the nurse."

"Ah, miss, you seem to be doing better than I had expected." Johnson says, walking over to Rain. He smiles, but then frowns when she doesn't seem to see him, and upon looking more closely at her eyes he gives a sigh. "You're blind, aren't you? Probably something about your curse, right? Well, come along, I'll guide ya. where would you like to go?"
