Vincent felt the girl struggle in his arms, but paid no attention, though he did listen to her. As she spoke he looked towards the entrance below deck and noticed that Johnson was speaking to the other woman now. She was motioning towards the sword at her side, and he could guess just by looking at it that the thing was cursed. As they approach this scene he turns his attention back to Lya. "You are sick, and you need rest." He says, a little gruffly. "And while you are a pirate, you are also a woman, and although the world may believe differently there are still a few of us gentlemen pirates left out there. You'll be in bed, with the nurse tending to you, understood?"

When they reached the others Vincent motioned towards Rebecca, who was just inside, to come help the girl to a bed. Once this was set into motion he turned towards johnson and the girl. "Hello Captain, just who we was wanting to see. This little lady's a cursed one, it's her sword. I'll let he say the rest, but I'm sure you already know." Johnson says with a small salute and a smile. "I'll be off then."

"Mind you don't step overboard..." Vincent says as he watches the man go. He then turns back to the girl and begins looking her over more carefully than before. His eyes go to her own, and at once he can tell she is blind, but not from natural cause. Looking more he spots the sword he's seen her motion to earlier. It is indeed a fine looking sword, but very odd, something of which only a few must exist. But above all that he could tell it was cursed. After a while, those who are cursed can feel the same of others when they are close by. Of course, Vincent had been born cursed, so it might only be himself with this ability, he couldn't be sure. "How long have you beed cursed?" he finally asks, looking back to her eyes.
