Once Basilia took off, Zarek stood up, still holding his arm close to his chest. He glanced around at the rest of the fighting, and felt relieved to see that it was already dying down. Not getting involved, he turned back to Acacia's damned Warrior. Zarek glared at him and jerked his head, beginning to walk. "Follow me. Do not do anything that might cause me to snap."

"Relax, pops," Ambrose said, following after the Noble leader. "I've already fought with one pack leader today, I've had my fill."

"Don't use that tone with me. Basilia would've ripped your throat out before unless I had stopped her." Zarek turned his bright eyes to Ambrose. "I think I deserve at least some respect for that."

Ambrose considered the dominant male's words. "I don't think I would've allowed the bitch to 'rip my throat out', but hey, if it makes you feel better."

Zarek bared his teeth, but let the Warrior slip. There was a slight chance he was talking about Basilia's gender, not trying to insult her.
