Roy probably had the same look on his face that Suki had on her's when Ryu fell into the water. He was in complete shock when Ryu swam to the surface. "How could he have an ability like that and not be a devil fruit user?" He wondered to himself. It was surely a mystery but one that would have to wait. The wind was starting to pick up and the sky was growing darker as if some sign of foreboding. "I got a bad feeling about this..." As Roy's voice trailed off small trickles of water began to fall from the sky. However there was some good news as an island was now in sight. "Hey Suki is that the island over there? Oh well doesn't matter were landing there for now we can't avoid this storm."

As Roy steered the ship into the direction of a town on the island smoke and the smell of gun powder filled the air. As Roy tried to make out what was causing this he saw it; a pirate flag.
