Meiro was accustomed to his steam magic, in fact it didn't effect him. Moving, almost, soundlessly in the empty hall, he takes up an offensive pose. He muttered a few words and channeled magic into his winged bracelet, finishing his preparations. His expression serious he launched the first strike. In one, swift, fluid movement he brought his arm down. His bracelet changed with the motion and became a short sword. At the same instant the blade flared up and in the momentum was thrown from the blade, right at Cliff. But Meiro wasn't waiting to see if his spell collided before following it up. He kicked off from he ground, practically flying at Cliff, ready to react to Cliff's movements.
