Shirou glanced at the blushing demon, and it struck him that she was not your average demon. Nothing cunning, no hidden motives that were impossible to detect, just lost and recently free from some private hell, from what he could gather from how she acted. This didn't bother him, considering his past experience with demons was not pleasant, to say the least. However he kept a tempered and cold outlook, this was another job in the long run. He would do his job, whether that meant teaching the girl how to function in the human realm or not, he would finish it to the best of his abilities. He was going to end up getting payed for the work after all, so no need to give an excuse to cut the pay because of some otherwise meaningless mistake.
Subtly raising an eyebrow at the laughing that broke out when he turned the radio on, Shirou didn't let the odd response phase him at all. He had to remember she knew nothing of the human world, things were not the same here as they were in the demon realm. And that was an understatement. Nodding when Ciel replied, he turned off the main road into a side road, being a relative sense since the side road was still two lanes both ways. He wasn't sure how the sleep cycle of pure demons ran, but he was still human, at least enough of a human to still be fatigued after a long day. Before they arrived at the apartment, he did mention something that she had appeared to grasp rather quickly. "Well done on the change in speech, once you no longer have to slow down, and with practice, you will fit into the human realm much easier."
Pulling into the parking lot of a generic looking building, just plain brick with windows at equal intervals, Shirou turned the car off and stepped out. The radio turned itself off when the car stopped running, and he led the devil into the apartment complex, nodding to the secretary at the desk. He knew her, she knew him, that was that. She was also smart enough not to ask questions of the tenant, and after two flights of stairs, Shirou pushed open the door to an apartment. It was furnished with the bare minimuls, a couch and fairly sized tv, a small microwave and standalone freezer next to it. There was a waist high mini fridge next to the freezer, and a chair at the counter. There were two doors as well, one was the bedroom, the other was the bathroom. Shirou explained as much. "Door on the left is the bathroom. Shower, bath, toilet. On the right is the bedroom, which is yours for the night. I'll rest on the couch."
