'A challenge at last,' Mathew thought, as another grin crept across his face, 'I shall enjoy her the most.' He grinned and slowly stood up. "My being near you discomforts you, child. So I doubt you'd enjoy it. Besides," he vanished from her sight, and appeared behind her, "Your too slow." He gently pushed her hair aside, exposing her neck. "Such beauty," he whispered delicately into her ear, "for one so young." He vanished once more, and appeared in the exact same spot as he did before, his grin spread wide, exposing his fangs.
